“Lawrence was an amazing cat sitter! He was super responsive and friendly throughout the entire process, which made me feel completely at ease while I was away. He sent plenty of photos and updates, which I really appreciated. It was so nice to see my cat happy and well cared for. It’s clear he genuinely enjoys spending time with animals, and my cat definitely enjoyed his company. I’ll absolutely be using Lawrence’s services again. Highly recommend!”

“Lil was fantastic with Enzo. He loved her visits and we both deeply appreciated her kindness, generosity, punctuality, and flexibility. She was perfect in giving Enzo food, water, and all of the pets he needed. Lil sent thorough updates and followed my instructions for Enzo to a T, eliminating any stress I might have had about leaving my cat. I would not hesitate to ask for her help again.”

“Kaitlyn is awesome! She took care of my 3 cats. 2 of them need daily thyroid meds. She had no issues giving them their medications. She sent updates and pictures at every visit. I would definitely recommend her. We will be using her next time we go away and I don’t have to worry about being away from my babies!”

“Antoinette is fantastic!! Mister Peach (my cat) and I highly recommend her. She is reliable, responsible, trustworthy, and caring... I've hired her several times to take care of Peach while I'm away and will continue to do so. 5 stars!”

“Jessica is wonderful. She came prepared to our meet and greet with questions and notes and she always responds quickly when you send her a message. She followed all feeding and medication instructions. My kitty was in great hands and was so calm when I came home. Will definitely use her services again in the future.”

About: I have been a cat owner for over 8 years, super experienced with taking care of cats and love all of them with my heart. Also, I have walked my cousins golden noodle countless times, and he poops over three times on one walk! I personally don’t own a dog but I enjoy hanging out with anyone’s special loved dogs. I am currently working in a kids indoor playground part time. Aside from the days off, I also have availability anytime after 6pm every day. I will make sure to keep all places clean and clean up any mess if needed. Making sure the pet feels safe before engaging any activities with them.
About: Hi, I'm Maria! I adore dogs and cats! I've been walking and sitting dogs for over 13 years and a professional pet photographer for 8 years. I grew up with lots of cats and dogs, and I volunteered at an animal hospital while in college. Today, I have a friendly female creme Shiba Inu, Lula. I offer 1/2-hour or full-hour dog walks and pets sitting in the Whitestone and Beechhurst areas of Queens. I will take your puppy to the park for a stroll, a dog park or just around your area - whatever you prefer. Dogs in my trust for walks are NEVER left alone or unsupervised. I always "clean up" after dogs in my care and keep them on the leash unless, with your permission, we go to a secure fenced dog park. Whatever your instructions I will make sure they are followed exactly as you request. I'm a punctual, responsible, and respectful person who loves dogs. I will take good care of your puppy as if they were my own. I will make sure they feel comfortable and receive plenty of attention and affection during their stay with me! As a lifelong owner of dogs and cats, providing a consistent schedule of daily care, feeding, walks, and affection comes naturally to me and my schedule. I provide care, feeding, clean up and affection as instructed. I'm also happy to follow any other instructions that may be specific to each pet.
“Sylvia is a superstar. This is the third time she has looked after my cat, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is incredibly skilled at caring for cats, is kind, thorough, and goes above and beyond to provide outstanding quality of care. A truly wonderful human 💖✨”

“Maria is an absolutely excellent person to care for your pet! She is very reliable, dependable, communicative and a real joy. Her love and care for my Xander was excellent throughout. Thanks for everything.”

“Yiyun was a great choice for my kittens! She made sure they were happy, comfortable and received lots of love. I would 100% recommend her and I would definitely board with her again.”

About: I'm an incredibly active individual. I love to lift weights, practice martial arts, hike, and go on runs. This allows me to be an excellent fit for a dog whose energy levels are high. If you'd prefer for me to not just take your dog to the bathroom, but provide them a good amount of exercise as well, I'm a great fit! When I'm not taking care of dogs I work as a writer, director, and editor on films, social media videos, and commercials. If you've ever wanted any photos or videos of you and your four legged friend (or just them) I can provide high quality images/videos for you as well whether you want to just show off to your friends and family or just to have status updates on how your dog is doing. Because I work freelance my schedule tends to be flexible and allows me to set my own hours usually. I will work with you as best as I can to fit your needs within my schedule. I treat dogs very similarly to how I treat people. I show them a great deal of respect, empathy, and love. I do tend to spoil my own dog here and there, but I also try to love him as unconditionally as he does to me. A golden rule I try to follow is treat others the way you want to be treated. Another golden rule I try to follow is to see myself in others. I also apply these two golden rules to my encounters with pets and nature in general.
About: I’ve always taken care of pets or strays. I would nurture them back to health with meds, comfort, or different styles of helping through each pets’ personalities. To really take your time with each individual pet and understanding them allows you to build their trust and make sure that both of you are having a great time! I’m currently working part time, but since being with dogs has always been something I enjoyed, I don’t view it as work. Instead I view it as enjoying each others company and exploring different areas together. In my own home, I take my pets on hikes or if it’s raining outside we do enrichment activities at home. It’s really important to make sure that their brains are being stimulated.
“I found Michelle here on Rover, and I’m so happy! She spent time with Cleo and Fanta and played with them. They got used to her right away. They like their particular games, but she had her own ideas too and they played easily and had lots of fun. I was able to get to my business as Michelle is quick to assess their needs; feeding, and litter pan care. We had no worries right from the start. Michelle is an excellent care provider. I highly recommend Michelle to care for your pets!”

About: Hello! My name is Julissa. I have so much love for all pets and animals. Growing up, i’ve always had a dog in the house, and they were always such an important member of our family. It’s been about five years since I’ve had a dog of my own. My last dog’s name was Sasha. We adopted her when she was six and had her until she was about thirteen. She was so smart, loving, and anxious when we first got her so our first few years together were spent establishing trust. Eventually we managed to off-leash train and we worked a lot on her recall so that we could enjoy longer walks and outdoor activities while ensuring that she always felt safe in her environment. At home we set her bed up in the kitchen, where we would pass our time cooking and spending a lot of quality time together. I had so many good years with my Sasha, and since she passed I have genuinely missed spending time with animals on a consistent basis. Since then, most if not all of my friends and family have entrusted me with taking care of their animals when they are busy or traveling, so I’ve had a lot of experience with many different pets and their varying needs/personalities. I work freelance as an artist. I am a musician, so I often stay at home practicing or composing. However most of my work is in the film industry, and this work ranges from smaller independent projects to network television. Although I do work on set sometimes, I try to take on as many post-production gigs as possible, so I often find myself sitting behind a desk all day. I have always made it a priority to work in a field that I am passionate about, and my decision to work with Rover has been no different. Caring for animals is not only something I am passionate about, but also a wonderful opportunity to go on walks and spend quality time with pets. I will always be very clear about any changes in my work schedule if those are to arise, but my reliability and dedication never wavers I have a fenced in yard and plenty of spaces in the house for your pet to wander and feel comfortable. I am also very trust worthy, organized, communicative, and extremely eager to work with you!
About: I’m a full time speech-language pathologist who loves spending my free time staying active - and nothing motivates me to get my daily steps in quite like a happy dog or cat by my side. I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all ages for friends, family, and neighbors, and I’m looking to add more pet time (and snuggles!) into my routine. Whether your pet needs a long walk, gentle company, playtime, or medication reminders, I’m your girl! I also know how important it is to feel confident while you’re away, so I provide consistent communication and plenty of photo updates. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while I get my daily dose of fresh air - and furry cuddles! I’m currently working full time as a speech language pathologist at a developmental preschool. My regular hours are 8-4 during the week. So I am available weekends and after my work hours from 4-8. I believe every pet deserves attentive, loving care, and I’m committed to making animals feel safe, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away. I take time to learn each pet’s unique personality - whether they’re energetic, shy, playful, or a professional napper - and tailor my care to what makes them feel best.

Jungmin was very responsive and kind for check-in visits for my cat! She sent plenty of photos and kept him well fed and cleaned up after him (he's quite messy) . We met up before I left and she was very attentive and made sure all was in order for her visits. Thank you very much, Jungmin!

Lily was an amazing cat sitter! She took such great care of Grayson while I was away. She followed all of my instructions perfectly and even went above and beyond by spending extra time playing with him and keeping him company. I could tell he felt comfortable and well-loved. I truly appreciated her updates, her patience, and the genuine care she showed. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and attentive sitter.

Shirley has establish a great rapport with my 2 cats. Both of my 2 cats enjoy playing hide and seek. For the first time , my youngest was waiting for Shirley on the windowsill. Shirley has the patience to coax them out hiding. If they could both talk it would be "we want Shirley as our sitter so Mom and Dad you can both relax and enjoy without any worries." 5 STARS and I agree!!!

Jessica is an excellent caretaker of our cat Aden. Helped us with drop in visits for 3 days, coming punctually and playing with our cat how we would if we were there. Aden took to her very fondly and trusted her right away ! If you want a trust worthy pet taker book Jessica for your pets :)
