“I would like to start by saying, in general I am a skeptical person who does not trust people with my dog because like others, my dog is my child. With that being said, I needed a dog sitter short notice while I went on a family vacation to Africa and prior arrangements fell through. Hesitant, I knew that a sitter would be best for me because I didn’t like the idea of boarding him at a facility. My dog weighs 4 lbs and is still a puppy, he seeks love and companionship. About: I’ve looked after dogs of all types of dogs. Small, large, fluffy, skinny, you name it. Also love cats and looking after them as well. About: For the past 4 years, I have volunteered at an animal shelter where I worked with both dogs and cats. With dogs, I have experience with all ages, ranging from 5 week old puppies to senior dogs. I have walked and played with dogs who were the most outgoing and loving dogs, as well as the more fearful ones who needed a little extra attention before opening up to me. I have received training in understanding dog behaviors as well as how to interact with more stressed and fearful dogs, leaving me confident to care for all types of dogs. I also volunteered to take some dogs out of the shelter for one night and care for them at my apartment so they can destress out of their kennels, which gave me experience house sitting multiple types of dogs. With cats, often times at the shelter I would play with them in their cages, or I would take them out the cage and hold onto/pet them to help relieve their stress and get them accustomed to humans. At home I also have 2 senior pets I care for, a 12 year old Brittany dog and an 11 year old cat. They’re both incredibly sweet and remind me every day why I love caring for animals. However, during the summer I don't work full time so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! About: Most notably, I have worked for Dan's Pet Care as a dog walker in Manhasset for 6 months. I would walk dogs, sometimes feed them, give them water, give them medication, pick up and drop them off to and from the petcare center if asked to. To put it shortly, I have lots of experience with new dogs. I also used to work at The Allypond Environmental Center, along with owning pets throughout my life and still do to this day such as dogs, cats, birds, fish, and guinea pigs. I've also taken care of my and other family members dogs some who have had casts on a leg. I'm used to taking care of my pet bird everyday along with helping the stray cat who we have fed for months now, all the dogs I've ever owned sadly passed away but I've always took care of them. I have a secure home and a fenced yard with plenty of space, on top of that my neighborhood is fairly quiet with 3 nice parks nearby for good long walks.

About: I had my own dog at the age 8 a pit bull mastiff who sadly passed away but in 2021 I got my dog pooka because someone wasn’t treating her right they were gunna put her down but I took her in and I also took care of 2 pitbulls American staffy and American pit bull it was the best experience I love taking all of them to the park so they can run and get out all that energy I don’t work currently so it would be very beneficial for me because I have a son who goes to school in the area I love the pups I see them all the time on my walks I would rather go to the pets home where they are comfortable so they won’t be so scared in a different environment and around new people
About: taking care of animals has been my passion since i got my first dog at age 11. it was love at first sight. i trained and groomed her for all of her 13 years. she showed me that a dog can be more then a pet and what unconditional love is. they are pure inocense and should always be loved and protected. i have groomed and taken care of a variety of dogs. i have had many different breeds. bulldog. maltease, yorkie, labordor and german shepard. i went to school for it and got certified in grooming\pet care. i am not afraid of big dogs and i am gentle with the tiny ones. i will protect and take the very best care of your pet. i will treat them as my own.

My doggy boys stayed with them for a week while we were travelling out of state and they looked like they were having a nice little doggy vacation themselves with their new found friends. Lal would keep us updated with how our boys were doing by also posting pictures and videos along with the texts and e-mails. Lal really took the time to get to know the boys well specially during their meet and greet. Plus the fact that their LabraDoodle, Hank got along very well with the boys made me really feel at ease. About: I understand how nerve wracking it may be to leave your pet with someone new. Thankfully, I am here to assure you that your dog will be reliably taken care of while you are away. I am more than happy to arrange a meet and greet and will send multiple updates and photos throughout your dog's stay so you can enjoy your vacation and time away from your pet at ease! I've taken care of many friends and family dogs throughout the years when their owners would go on vacations. I have experience taking care of multiple dogs at once where I walked them, played, and fed their pets for many weeks. I finally found my forever furend, Romeo who is now a 7-month-old pomsky! Romeo is playful and loving. He will be a great companion to your furry friend during their stay with us! I am working from home and I am very flexible on taking your pets on walks throughout the day. I have a private rooftop I can bring them to, a nice quiet neighborhood area to walk around and there is a dog park 25 minutes away. Any and all instructions you leave for me will be followed with the utmost care to keep your little buddy happy! My daycare services are from 9 am - 6 pm daily; the cut-off time for boarding services is by 6 pm daily. My dog-friendly apartment building has a private balcony where your fur baby can enjoy the fresh breeze throughout the day. I also have an amazing, beautiful rooftop that has fake grass where your pet will enjoy running around! I have provided a photo of the gorgeous private rooftop below. I have a spacious 2 bedroom apartment that is clean, mopped, and vacuumed daily. Your pet will have a private and quiet area to rest and spend their day happily!
