Cat Sitting in Oakland Gardens

About: I’ve taken care of cats for about 7 years. Mostly for friends and family when they travel. I either keep them over night or can also do visits, depending on your preference . I have 2 cats my self shady (9) and Melvin (6). They’re the sweetest cats , they don’t bother , they’re friendly and just want love. I’ve owned a couple of dogs as well , I don’t mind taking them for a walk when needed. I have a hybrid schedule I work in office and also from home . My days varies and my schedule is very open . I do not work weekends . My house has a lot of windows for the cats to lay and sun bathe. We have a front garden that I usually let my cats out for 30 mins a day depending on the weather.

About: I have been able to take care of my cat for 5 years and he is still happy and healthy. I am hardworking and about to receive my GED. After school, I come home and finish mu homework and let my cat do it's normal behavior and when needed, I attend to him without issue. I have a fenced gate that my yard has meaning I can take my cat out for a walk and bring it back inside after it is done.

About: Hello! My name is Julissa. I have so much love for all pets and animals. Growing up, i’ve always had a dog in the house, and they were always such an important member of our family. It’s been about five years since I’ve had a dog of my own. My last dog’s name was Sasha. We adopted her when she was six and had her until she was about thirteen. She was so smart, loving, and anxious when we first got her so our first few years together were spent establishing trust. Eventually we managed to off-leash train and we worked a lot on her recall so that we could enjoy longer walks and outdoor activities while ensuring that she always felt safe in her environment. At home we set her bed up in the kitchen, where we would pass our time cooking and spending a lot of quality time together. I had so many good years with my Sasha, and since she passed I have genuinely missed spending time with animals on a consistent basis. Since then, most if not all of my friends and family have entrusted me with taking care of their animals when they are busy or traveling, so I’ve had a lot of experience with many different pets and their varying needs/personalities. I work freelance as an artist. I am a musician, so I often stay at home practicing or composing. However most of my work is in the film industry, and this work ranges from smaller independent projects to network television. Although I do work on set sometimes, I try to take on as many post-production gigs as possible, so I often find myself sitting behind a desk all day. I have always made it a priority to work in a field that I am passionate about, and my decision to work with Rover has been no different. Caring for animals is not only something I am passionate about, but also a wonderful opportunity to go on walks and spend quality time with pets. I will always be very clear about any changes in my work schedule if those are to arise, but my reliability and dedication never wavers I have a fenced in yard and plenty of spaces in the house for your pet to wander and feel comfortable. About: I'm an incredibly active individual. I love to lift weights, practice martial arts, hike, and go on runs. This allows me to be an excellent fit for a dog whose energy levels are high. If you'd prefer for me to not just take your dog to the bathroom, but provide them a good amount of exercise as well, I'm a great fit! When I'm not taking care of dogs I work as a writer, director, and editor on films, social media videos, and commercials. If you've ever wanted any photos or videos of you and your four legged friend (or just them) I can provide high quality images/videos for you as well whether you want to just show off to your friends and family or just to have status updates on how your dog is doing. Because I work freelance my schedule tends to be flexible and allows me to set my own hours usually. I will work with you as best as I can to fit your needs within my schedule. I treat dogs very similarly to how I treat people. I show them a great deal of respect, empathy, and love. I do tend to spoil my own dog here and there, but I also try to love him as unconditionally as he does to me. A golden rule I try to follow is treat others the way you want to be treated. Another golden rule I try to follow is to see myself in others. I also apply these two golden rules to my encounters with pets and nature in general.

About: I’ve looked after dogs of all types of dogs. Small, large, fluffy, skinny, you name it. Also love cats and looking after them as well. Would love to expand my horizons to other, less conventional pets some day. Maybe reptiles… I have lived with one or more pets consistently for more than half my life. Many pets and creatures I’ve called my friends. Would love to make it a full-time job someday. I act lovingly and compassionately towards the animals I’m watching, but show them that things like jumping and biting are not okay when considering how their trainers want their training schedule to look like. Every animal is different, so I take an individual approach.
