About: Hello! My name is Julissa. I have so much love for all pets and animals. Growing up, i’ve always had a dog in the house, and they were always such an important member of our family. It’s been about five years since I’ve had a dog of my own. My last dog’s name was Sasha. We adopted her when she was six and had her until she was about thirteen. She was so smart, loving, and anxious when we first got her so our first few years together were spent establishing trust. Eventually we managed to off-leash train and we worked a lot on her recall so that we could enjoy longer walks and outdoor activities while ensuring that she always felt safe in her environment. At home we set her bed up in the kitchen, where we would pass our time cooking and spending a lot of quality time together. I had so many good years with my Sasha, and since she passed I have genuinely missed spending time with animals on a consistent basis. Since then, most if not all of my friends and family have entrusted me with taking care of their animals when they are busy or traveling, so I’ve had a lot of experience with many different pets and their varying needs/personalities. I work freelance as an artist. I am a musician, so I often stay at home practicing or composing. However most of my work is in the film industry, and this work ranges from smaller independent projects to network television. Although I do work on set sometimes, I try to take on as many post-production gigs as possible, so I often find myself sitting behind a desk all day. I have always made it a priority to work in a field that I am passionate about, and my decision to work with Rover has been no different. Caring for animals is not only something I am passionate about, but also a wonderful opportunity to go on walks and spend quality time with pets. I will always be very clear about any changes in my work schedule if those are to arise, but my reliability and dedication never wavers I have a fenced in yard and plenty of spaces in the house for your pet to wander and feel comfortable. I am also very trust worthy, organized, communicative, and extremely eager to work with you!

About: My name is Jonathan and I am currently 27 years old, working full-time as a dog sitter, and living in Great Neck, NY. A former software engineer that's pursuing UX/UI design and loves animals! I currently have a 5 year old golden retriever! I have always loved dogs as I grew up with a Maltese when I was in kindergarten before getting my golden. I'm also very good at training through positive reinforcement and handling medium to large breeds. I also have experience taking care of multiple dogs at the same time. Lastly, I can easily tell when dogs are in trouble or need to use the bathroom,etc. My schedule is extremely flexible so I can accommodate most requests! I wake up at 9am everyday to let my dog out for a morning potty break. We then go for a walk at noon, one at 6pm, and one more at 10pm before bed. I have a fenced in yard that is locked at all times. I will be present in the backyard anytime the dogs are there and will keep an eye on them while they play. I will be home 24/7 while your dog is with me, and will be monitored at all times.

About: I've cared for both dogs and cats my whole life-- I've never lived without a pet! I also have experience as a volunteer caretaker through my local animal shelter, and a deep passion for animal welfare and happiness. I work part-time and am a part-time student, so please check my calendar for availability. I have class from 4-9pm Tuesday & Wednesday and my work schedule is typically the day shift on Monday and Thursday. Again, if there are any deviances, I will mark them on the calendar! I'm happy to let your pet set the pace-- if they're a cuddle bug, I'll give them snuggles, and if they need some time to warm up, I'll sit quietly while they get used to me. If your puppy feels the need for speed, I'll take him on a sprightly jog, but if your senior prefers to take the scenic route, we can stop and sniff every tree. I'll listen to your instructions and preferences and theirs.

I love him to death and take his health (mentally, physically, etc) seriously. I would do the same for yours! I have dog sat 3 dogs at once (including mine) for a few weeks before. My dog can acclimate to new dogs after a meet and greet. I can handle dogs with raw food diets and have baby gates in some rooms to separate dogs if they're not getting along! I have a back yard to run around in (not grass). I have time on the weekends and wfh. I have gated fences and rooms. I can watch dogs while I work. I can take them on walks in the afternoon. I can crate if needed (need to assemble - fits gsd). I can handle walking dogs up and down stairs (weight dependent). I will ask for permission before giving any "new" treats or meal items.

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats of all kind and size. Friends and family all call me to take care of they fur babies :) I am a stay home mom of a 5 year old boy , he goes to school in the morning so I have open schedule :) I live in a garden apartments complex cross the street from alley pond park, big green space, super safe environment to walk and play with dogs

About: I’ve taken care of big dogs and cats. I find it easy to connect and bond with animals. Me and my partner have a cat that stays at his place. Since I’m self-employed, I’m pretty much free any weekday at any time to take care of your furry friends! This includes morning, afternoon and nights. I would prefer to not care for pets in my home unless it’s a cat or small dog as my space wouldn’t be ideal for bigger dogs

I currently work 9-6PM ET, but can be there to take care of your dog any time after that, and any time on the weekends. This includes feeding according to their schedule and dietary needs, providing fresh water, giving daily walks and exercise, offering playtime and mental stimulation, and ensuring lots of love and attention. I also follow any specific instructions from the pet owner, monitor for health or behavior changes, and maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment at all times.

About: I've worked at a doggy daycare where I was exposed to all kinds of dogs. At the daycare, I supervised and took care of the dogs. I have been taking care of dogs ever since I was little, and I walk my dog at least two times a day for at least 45 minutes. I am currently working part-time, so I have a lot of time to incorporate your fur babies into my lifestyle. I am usually available at certain times everyday since my schedule is extremely flexible. I have an extremely friendly shih tzu with me in a smoke-free home. I prioritize cleanliness and I have all basic dog essentials. Plus, I have a lot of toys that your baby would enjoy.

About: I’ve always had so much love for animals, but growing up I’ve always had cats. So for about a year I volunteered at the nearest dog shelter where I learned how to care for dogs. And now I know even more working as a Veterinary technician/assistant. I currently work full time but only 4 days a week. I work pretty close to home so I would be able to go home on my lunch breaks to check on pets, and then head straight home after work to love and care for your pets. I have a fenced in backyard and live in a big house. There is my cat in the house as well who is very good with other animals. And I have the means to separate them temporarily if necessary.

“Stacie is a Godsend! We had the opportunity to take a trip to Costa Rica with just 48 hours notice. We were incredibly lucky to find Stacie: We would never have gone abroad unless we found someone great. Stacie provided us with two references, both of whom were thrilled to report she did a fantastic job with their pets: They said she was always on time, posted lots of photos and was incredibly respectful of being inside their homes when no one was around. That was actually my primary concern about hiring someone I did not know: It’s pretty difficult to leave your house keys with a stranger. But Stacie was wonderful. She was incredibly responsible. We took this trip just a few days ago (mid-January 2022) when the city was pounded with a terrible snowstorm. Despite the awful weather, Stacie kept her appointment: She told us in advance that she might be an hour or so late because the blizzard left the roads unnavigable. But, clearly, she made it a priority to check on our two beloved Birman cats: She came just a couple of hours later. I’m sure that was difficult considering the weather, but we truly appreciated it. We knew the cats would be OK in Stacie’s care. And they clearly grew to love her. We are incredibly grateful to have found her.”

About: Hi, I'm Maria! I adore dogs and cats! I've been walking and sitting dogs for over 13 years and a professional pet photographer for 8 years. I grew up with lots of cats and dogs, and I volunteered at an animal hospital while in college. Today, I have a friendly female creme Shiba Inu, Lula. I offer 1/2-hour or full-hour dog walks and pets sitting in the Whitestone and Beechhurst areas of Queens. I will take your puppy to the park for a stroll, a dog park or just around your area - whatever you prefer. Dogs in my trust for walks are NEVER left alone or unsupervised. I always "clean up" after dogs in my care and keep them on the leash unless, with your permission, we go to a secure fenced dog park. Whatever your instructions I will make sure they are followed exactly as you request. I'm a punctual, responsible, and respectful person who loves dogs. I will take good care of your puppy as if they were my own. I will make sure they feel comfortable and receive plenty of attention and affection during their stay with me! About: taking care of animals has been my passion since i got my first dog at age 11. it was love at first sight. i trained and groomed her for all of her 13 years. she showed me that a dog can be more then a pet and what unconditional love is. they are pure inocense and should always be loved and protected. i have groomed and taken care of a variety of dogs. i have had many different breeds. bulldog. maltease, yorkie, labordor and german shepard. i went to school for it and got certified in grooming\pet care. i am not afraid of big dogs and i am gentle with the tiny ones. i will protect and take the very best care of your pet. i will treat them as my own.

About: i have decent experience with both cats and dogs. I've spent time caring for various breeds and personalities, so I'm comfortable with the different needs and behaviors of both types of pets. My cousin has two great danes i don’t work at all at the moment because of school and other such things. there’s a word limit and i need more to submit this so yeah i wouldn’t be taking care of pets in my own home so this question is quite literally doesn’t apply to me at all word word
