With that being said, I needed a dog sitter short notice while I went on a family vacation to Africa and prior arrangements fell through. About: For the past 4 years, I have volunteered at an animal shelter where I worked with both dogs and cats. With dogs, I have experience with all ages, ranging from 5 week old puppies to senior dogs. I have walked and played with dogs who were the most outgoing and loving dogs, as well as the more fearful ones who needed a little extra attention before opening up to me. About: Most notably, I have worked for Dan's Pet Care as a dog walker in Manhasset for 6 months. I would walk dogs, sometimes feed them, give them water, give them medication, pick up and drop them off to and from the petcare center if asked to. Since I’m self-employed, I’m pretty much free any weekday at any time to take care of your furry friends! This includes morning, afternoon and nights. I would prefer to not care for pets in my home unless it’s a cat or small dog as my space wouldn’t be ideal for bigger dogs

Throughout the day, I make sure dogs get regular potty breaks, outdoor time, and time to relax and settle in comfortably at home. After coming back inside, I clean their paws to help keep them clean and comfortable while also maintaining a tidy living space. I also pay attention to brushing and overall cleanliness so dogs can feel comfortable during their stay. Most importantly, I pay close attention to each dog’s comfort level, personality, and interactions to help maintain a safe and positive environment for everyone.
