About: Hello! My name is Julissa. I have so much love for all pets and animals. Growing up, i’ve always had a dog in the house, and they were always such an important member of our family. It’s been about five years since I’ve had a dog of my own. My last dog’s name was Sasha. We adopted her when she was six and had her until she was about thirteen. She was so smart, loving, and anxious when we first got her so our first few years together were spent establishing trust. Eventually we managed to off-leash train and we worked a lot on her recall so that we could enjoy longer walks and outdoor activities while ensuring that she always felt safe in her environment. At home we set her bed up in the kitchen, where we would pass our time cooking and spending a lot of quality time together. I had so many good years with my Sasha, and since she passed I have genuinely missed spending time with animals on a consistent basis. Since then, most if not all of my friends and family have entrusted me with taking care of their animals when they are busy or traveling, so I’ve had a lot of experience with many different pets and their varying needs/personalities. I work freelance as an artist. I am a musician, so I often stay at home practicing or composing. However most of my work is in the film industry, and this work ranges from smaller independent projects to network television. Although I do work on set sometimes, I try to take on as many post-production gigs as possible, so I often find myself sitting behind a desk all day. He was flexible and accommodating of our feeding and litter box times and asked questions whenever he was unsure. He provided us with details and photos of my furbabies during each visit. One of my girls has IBS and he would send us pictures of her food dish to make sure she was getting her RX food. Another one of my girls tends to sometimes pee outside of the litter box and Karlos would inform us if she did and mop up the urine. About: For the past 4 years, I have volunteered at an animal shelter where I worked with both dogs and cats. With dogs, I have experience with all ages, ranging from 5 week old puppies to senior dogs. I have walked and played with dogs who were the most outgoing and loving dogs, as well as the more fearful ones who needed a little extra attention before opening up to me. I have received training in understanding dog behaviors as well as how to interact with more stressed and fearful dogs, leaving me confident to care for all types of dogs. About: ***LOCATED IN BAYSIDE,QUEENS*** Hi there! I love all fur babies and welcome them with open arms. I’m a firm believer that while small moments with our pets may seem minuscule to us, they are everything to them— so let’s make it count! I grew up with a cocker spaniel and recently lost my rescue pup to cancer. Due to her long treatment regimen, I feel comfortable administering oral medications. She was a jack russell mixed with a dachshund so you know training was a handful! She suffered from some separation anxiety that we trained through so I have experience with this challenge (pandemic puppies am I right?) But we still had the best time. We explored parks, she sniffed the fun smells of NY, we snuggled on the couch and played fetch every evening. Whatever your pet is into, I’m up for! I work remotely in a dog-friendly building. My job is very flexible when it comes to hours so I can do my best to accommodate nearly every reasonable scenario depending on my meeting times for that given day. However, please no bookings after 7:30pm. In terms of supplies, I do ask pawrents to please bring any necessary food, crates, toys, meds, blankets, etc. I prefer to not cross-contaminate supplies for the health and safety of all pets. All feeding times/walking schedules will be up to the discretion of the pawrent— you know your pet best! I also have pee-pads available for those puppers who are not yet fully potty trained. Lastly, my home layout is quite pet friendly. I keep bedroom and bathroom doors closed since they are out of my line of sight when I work and the kitchen/living room is an open concept. For smaller pets, I can gate away a certain area if pawrents prefer.
About: I had my own dog at the age 8 a pit bull mastiff who sadly passed away but in 2021 I got my dog pooka because someone wasn’t treating her right they were gunna put her down but I took her in and I also took care of 2 pitbulls American staffy and American pit bull it was the best experience I love taking all of them to the park so they can run and get out all that energy I don’t work currently so it would be very beneficial for me because I have a son who goes to school in the area I love the pups I see them all the time on my walks I would rather go to the pets home where they are comfortable so they won’t be so scared in a different environment and around new people

“We had to leave Nene and Scrappy with Jonisha and her family for a weekend while we were traveling, and once again, we did so with complete peace of mind, knowing they would be well cared for and loved. This time, Nene had a small rash on her back left leg that required the application of topical ointment twice daily. Jonisha and her family not only assured us they would handle it but went above and beyond by putting a soft cone on Nene to prevent her from licking the hot spot. Their attentiveness and care truly exceeded our expectations. As usual, Jonisha and her family kept us updated with lots of videos and pictures. It warmed my heart to see how well-cared-for and at ease Nene and Scrappy were. They fit right in with Jonisha’s family and her two dogs. The videos showed them outside, romping around and active, while the pictures captured them snuggling and resting together, as well as with Jonisha and her family members. Knowing that they were so loved and happy gave me immense comfort. Once again, Jonisha and her family delivered exceptional care. We couldn’t be happier with them and wouldn’t dream of entrusting Nene and Scrappy to anyone else. It’s clear they treat our dogs as if they were their own, and that level of love and dedication means the world to us. The girls were even excited to see Jonisha and her sister when we dropped them off, which speaks volumes about the bond they share. How could you not want that kind of care for your dogs when leaving them with a sitter?”
