About: I’ve taken care of cats for about 7 years. Mostly for friends and family when they travel. I either keep them over night or can also do visits, depending on your preference . I have 2 cats my self shady (9) and Melvin (6). They’re the sweetest cats , they don’t bother , they’re friendly and just want love. I’ve owned a couple of dogs as well , I don’t mind taking them for a walk when needed. I have a hybrid schedule I work in office and also from home . My days varies and my schedule is very open . I do not work weekends . My house has a lot of windows for the cats to lay and sun bathe. We have a front garden that I usually let my cats out for 30 mins a day depending on the weather.

About: Hello! My name is Julissa. I have so much love for all pets and animals. Growing up, i’ve always had a dog in the house, and they were always such an important member of our family. It’s been about five years since I’ve had a dog of my own. My last dog’s name was Sasha. We adopted her when she was six and had her until she was about thirteen. She was so smart, loving, and anxious when we first got her so our first few years together were spent establishing trust. Eventually we managed to off-leash train and we worked a lot on her recall so that we could enjoy longer walks and outdoor activities while ensuring that she always felt safe in her environment. At home we set her bed up in the kitchen, where we would pass our time cooking and spending a lot of quality time together. I had so many good years with my Sasha, and since she passed I have genuinely missed spending time with animals on a consistent basis. Since then, most if not all of my friends and family have entrusted me with taking care of their animals when they are busy or traveling, so I’ve had a lot of experience with many different pets and their varying needs/personalities. I work freelance as an artist. I am a musician, so I often stay at home practicing or composing. However most of my work is in the film industry, and this work ranges from smaller independent projects to network television. Although I do work on set sometimes, I try to take on as many post-production gigs as possible, so I often find myself sitting behind a desk all day. I have always made it a priority to work in a field that I am passionate about, and my decision to work with Rover has been no different. Caring for animals is not only something I am passionate about, but also a wonderful opportunity to go on walks and spend quality time with pets. I will always be very clear about any changes in my work schedule if those are to arise, but my reliability and dedication never wavers I have a fenced in yard and plenty of spaces in the house for your pet to wander and feel comfortable. I am also very trust worthy, organized, communicative, and extremely eager to work with you!

About: I'm an incredibly active individual. I love to lift weights, practice martial arts, hike, and go on runs. This allows me to be an excellent fit for a dog whose energy levels are high. If you'd prefer for me to not just take your dog to the bathroom, but provide them a good amount of exercise as well, I'm a great fit! When I'm not taking care of dogs I work as a writer, director, and editor on films, social media videos, and commercials. If you've ever wanted any photos or videos of you and your four legged friend (or just them) I can provide high quality images/videos for you as well whether you want to just show off to your friends and family or just to have status updates on how your dog is doing. Because I work freelance my schedule tends to be flexible and allows me to set my own hours usually. I will work with you as best as I can to fit your needs within my schedule. I treat dogs very similarly to how I treat people. I show them a great deal of respect, empathy, and love. I do tend to spoil my own dog here and there, but I also try to love him as unconditionally as he does to me. A golden rule I try to follow is treat others the way you want to be treated. He was very skittish when I first got him, but he warmed up to Shibo right away. My other cat took a liking to him immediately as well—who wouldn’t! I am also available on weekends and will need at least 1 days notice for last minute walks or cancellations. Preferred locations: Queens, Long Island and Manhattan. I’m a firm believer that while small moments with our pets may seem minuscule to us, they are everything to them— so let’s make it count! I grew up with a cocker spaniel and recently lost my rescue pup to cancer. Due to her long treatment regimen, I feel comfortable administering oral medications. She was a jack russell mixed with a dachshund so you know training was a handful! She suffered from some separation anxiety that we trained through so I have experience with this challenge (pandemic puppies am I right?) But we still had the best time. We explored parks, she sniffed the fun smells of NY, we snuggled on the couch and played fetch every evening. Whatever your pet is into, I’m up for! I work remotely in a dog-friendly building. My job is very flexible when it comes to hours so I can do my best to accommodate nearly every reasonable scenario depending on my meeting times for that given day. However, please no bookings after 7:30pm. In terms of supplies, I do ask pawrents to please bring any necessary food, crates, toys, meds, blankets, etc. I prefer to not cross-contaminate supplies for the health and safety of all pets. All feeding times/walking schedules will be up to the discretion of the pawrent— you know your pet best! I also have pee-pads available for those puppers who are not yet fully potty trained. Lastly, my home layout is quite pet friendly. I keep bedroom and bathroom doors closed since they are out of my line of sight when I work and the kitchen/living room is an open concept. For smaller pets, I can gate away a certain area if pawrents prefer.

About: I’ve had my dog from 4 weeks to now 11 years old! I’ve always loved dogs and dogsit a ton for family’s and friend’s dogs! I’m also a therapist professionally but looking to enjoy the summer a bit more with extra furry friends! I work from home and have 15 min breaks from work every hour. I also have control over my schedules. As for walking dogs I am always looking a reason to walk and exercise! I have a backyard for pups to run around. I also have a workable schedule that allows me 15 min every hour for the pups to check in on them and refill water and refill on attention! My favorite form of exercise is walking dogs! About: Hi, I'm Maria! I adore dogs and cats! I've been walking and sitting dogs for over 13 years and a professional pet photographer for 8 years. I grew up with lots of cats and dogs, and I volunteered at an animal hospital while in college. Today, I have a friendly female creme Shiba Inu, Lula. I offer 1/2-hour or full-hour dog walks and pets sitting in the Whitestone and Beechhurst areas of Queens. I will take your puppy to the park for a stroll, a dog park or just around your area - whatever you prefer. Dogs in my trust for walks are NEVER left alone or unsupervised. I always "clean up" after dogs in my care and keep them on the leash unless, with your permission, we go to a secure fenced dog park. Whatever your instructions I will make sure they are followed exactly as you request. I'm a punctual, responsible, and respectful person who loves dogs. I will take good care of your puppy as if they were my own. I will make sure they feel comfortable and receive plenty of attention and affection during their stay with me! As a lifelong owner of dogs and cats, providing a consistent schedule of daily care, feeding, walks, and affection comes naturally to me and my schedule.
