It’s been about five years since I’ve had a dog of my own. My last dog’s name was Sasha. We adopted her when she was six and had her until she was about thirteen. She was so smart, loving, and anxious when we first got her so our first few years together were spent establishing trust. Eventually we managed to off-leash train and we worked a lot on her recall so that we could enjoy longer walks and outdoor activities while ensuring that she always felt safe in her environment. I had so many good years with my Sasha, and since she passed I have genuinely missed spending time with animals on a consistent basis. We have booked Charlie to watch over our two cats twice already and will continue to do so. He is very attentive to their needs. When we returned home, their bowls were washed and spotless, the floor was swept and also spotless. He even offered to water our plants. I recommend Dorothy who took care of my cats while I was away for five days. She came twice a day to feed them, give them fresh water and refresh their litter boxes. My cats are afraid of strangers and they hid the entire time despite her efforts to befriend them, but they’re like that with everyone. When I came home, both cats looked well and the house was clean and well cared for. Dorothy followed my instructions for feeding them and sent me detailed updates of her visits every day. I usually hate to leave my cats but I felt they were in good hands with Dorothy.
