With that being said, I needed a dog sitter short notice while I went on a family vacation to Africa and prior arrangements fell through. Hesitant, I knew that a sitter would be best for me because I didn’t like the idea of boarding him at a facility. My dog weighs 4 lbs and is still a puppy, he seeks love and companionship. About: I've cared for both dogs and cats my whole life-- I've never lived without a pet! I also have experience as a volunteer caretaker through my local animal shelter, and a deep passion for animal welfare and happiness. I work part-time and am a part-time student, so please check my calendar for availability. I have class from 4-9pm Tuesday & Wednesday and my work schedule is typically the day shift on Monday and Thursday. Again, if there are any deviances, I will mark them on the calendar! I'm happy to let your pet set the pace-- if they're a cuddle bug, I'll give them snuggles, and if they need some time to warm up, I'll sit quietly while they get used to me. If your puppy feels the need for speed, I'll take him on a sprightly jog, but if your senior prefers to take the scenic route, we can stop and sniff every tree. I'll listen to your instructions and preferences and theirs.

“Dominique is wonderful, kind, communicative, super responsive, and a joy to work with. We have a nervous, 95 lb pup and I’m a nervous dog mom - Dominique took so much time to make us both feel comfortable for Saint’s first boarding - sending tons of pictures and always staying in touch. Dominique also walks Saint once a week (so we could make sure our nervous pup was prepared for this boarding) and Saint absolutely adores them. Saint almost never gets excited to see “strangers”, but when Dominique comes to pick her up, Saint thinks she’s hanging out with her best friends. There’s days Saint knows Dominique will be coming for her walk, and she’ll sit by the door waiting, given how Saint is super shy, seeing her look forward to a friend coming over like this makes me so happy. Dominique knows dogs, with a background in dog training, they knew exactly how to make Saint feel comfortable in no time at all (Dominique was “friends” with Saint within five minutes of her first walk!!). We would recommend Dominique without hesitation to anyone in the area.”
