About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities, especially small and medium-sized dogs. I am responsible and attentive to each dog’s needs, whether it’s feeding, walking, playtime, or simply providing comfort and companionship. I understand different dog behaviors and can handle both energetic and timid dogs. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and routine are always my top priorities. I am available Monday to Thursday from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Friday around 12:30 -1:30pm During this time, I can provide focused attention, walks, feeding, and playtime for your dog. I am reliable, on time, and will make sure your pet feels comfortable and well cared for while you are away. I provide a safe, calm, and clean environment for every pet in my care. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walking routines, and any special needs. I pay close attention to each dog’s behavior to ensure their safety at all times. I am especially patient with shy or sensitive dogs and make sure they feel secure and comfortable. Your pet’s safety and well-being are always my top priorities. I will also keep you updated with messages and photos so you feel at ease while you’re away.
“Christy was amazing with checking in on our cat Boo. My husband and I went on vacation for a week and we couldn’t take Boo with us. Usually when we go away we take him but this trip we couldn’t. Boo has to take a few different meds to take twice a day. Christy stepped up and took such great care of him. She sent us numerous photos and videos. She also checked in everyday, twice a day when she’d go over and take care of him. She spent time with Boo and played with him as well. Christy put us at such ease as far as how Boo is doing with us away. If we go away again and can’t take Boo we will definitely be reaching out to Christy again.”

“Thank you, Brianna, for taking care of my elderly cats for two weeks! Usually, when I leave them, they get upset and could pee all over and make a mess. At this time, I came back to the clean apartment, and my cats were healthy and cheerful 😻.”
About: I've taken care of dogs, guinea pigs, and fish. I myself have a seven year old bichon who I take care of. I can take your fur babies on walks, a personal pet picnic, or even take them to a pet park so they can socialize with other pets. I am currently a full time teacher. So I am available after 2:30 and full time on weekends. To schedule care time, please give me two weeks notice. Thank you! I can take care of your dog in your own home. Of course, safety comes first, please leave me notes so that I will be aware of it.
About: I have 3 dogs of my own that I have taken care of for years who are all well trained and well loved. Good at calming them down when they get too hyper but never too stern with them either or mean to them in any way. I have taken care of my dogs everyday so it has been a daily routine for a majority of my life. I am now looking to do the same for others. I will make sure there’s nothing out or on the ground that they can pick up and chew on or possibly choke on and always have water out for them whenever they need it.
“Dorothy was wonderful! She took great care of my floof and was so patient with her. I felt safe knowing my fur baby was being looked after by her while I was across the country. She even helped clean up a few furballs. Would definitely recommend her to a friend.”

About: I’ve taken care of both cats and dogs for friends and family — as well as my own fur babies: a bichon poodle, a tabby, and a grey and white cat. I am also available on weekends and will need at least 1 days notice for last minute walks or cancellations. Preferred locations: Queens, Long Island and Manhattan. I strongly believe in safety protocols when it comes to protecting the wellbeing of animals. That being said, I am always alert when dog walking and make note of behavior and interactions to ensure their safety. I am patient and compassionate when it comes to different behaviors such as anxiety, hyperactivity, aggression, and a strong sense of independence.
About: Hi, I'm Maria! I adore dogs and cats! I've been walking and sitting dogs for over 13 years and a professional pet photographer for 8 years. I grew up with lots of cats and dogs, and I volunteered at an animal hospital while in college. Today, I have a friendly female creme Shiba Inu, Lula. I offer 1/2-hour or full-hour dog walks and pets sitting in the Whitestone and Beechhurst areas of Queens. I will take your puppy to the park for a stroll, a dog park or just around your area - whatever you prefer. Dogs in my trust for walks are NEVER left alone or unsupervised. I always "clean up" after dogs in my care and keep them on the leash unless, with your permission, we go to a secure fenced dog park. Whatever your instructions I will make sure they are followed exactly as you request. I'm a punctual, responsible, and respectful person who loves dogs. I will take good care of your puppy as if they were my own. I will make sure they feel comfortable and receive plenty of attention and affection during their stay with me! As a lifelong owner of dogs and cats, providing a consistent schedule of daily care, feeding, walks, and affection comes naturally to me and my schedule. I provide care, feeding, clean up and affection as instructed. I'm also happy to follow any other instructions that may be specific to each pet.
“Marianna was wonderful. She was punctual and detailed and communicative! Mariana provided my family much peace of mind when she was sitting for our two cats! They were very happy with her, She did some extra work on the litter pan making sure it was very clean to make them extra comfortable! We would definitely hire her again.”
About: I have 10 years of experience in raising cats and 6 years of experience in rescuing stray cats. I have 3 cats at home. I am experienced in taking care of kittens, sick cats and dealing with cat stress. I live in a large house with 6 rooms and a backyard for two families. Most of the cats that come to foster care are in single rooms. I love cats, just like I love my own children. My husband and I work from home, so we have plenty of time to take care of your pets, we have plenty of time to take them for a walk. The house I live in has two floors and six rooms. I hope the owner provides food, and I will be provide snacks. The cats will live alone in the cat house for the first two days when they come to my house. I will observe the friendliness of the cats to decide whether to let them play with other cats.
“Laura takes such great care of our senior pug Gus! After the weekend of walks and pets and all the attention, he really misses her!! I 1000% recommend Laura :)”

About: I have experience taking care of two childhood dogs with love and care for 15+ years. I am not scared to give lots of pets and love to make the pet comfortable. Your pet is welcome to spend time with me! I walk my dogs everyday multiple times a day. I make sure the pet's needs are met before and after I leave my home. About: I’ve cared for my cousin’s dog several times, especially when his family was away. He has separation anxiety, so I’ve learned how to support him through stressful moments with patience and consistency, calmly. This experience helped me understand how important emotional care is for pets, not just physical needs. I’ve also taken the initiative to self-learn dog training techniques and have attended a few classes on positive reinforcement training. I’ve even practiced basic training with my cousin’s dog to help reinforce good habits. Growing up, I also cared for a bunny, which taught me responsibility and attention to detail, skills that translate well to dog care, too. I’m reliable, gentle, and always focused on making pets feel safe, loved, and understood. It’s summer break for me, so my schedule is flexible and open throughout the week. I have plenty of time each day to dedicate to pet care, whether dog walking, sitting, or just spending quality time with your pet. I’m also working on a few personal hobbies during my free time, and I thought pet care would be the perfect way to earn money while doing something I genuinely enjoy. I love being around animals and giving them the care and attention they deserve! Whether I’m caring for pets in my client’s home or my own space, I always prioritize their safety, comfort, and routine. I take time to understand each pet’s specific needs, like feeding schedules, walking routines, or favorite toys, so they feel secure and cared for while you're away. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and make sure to keep everything clean and consistent for your pet. I pay close attention to doors, gates, and anything that could be a safety concern. If I’m in charge of walking, I always use secure leashes and stay alert to our surroundings to keep your pet safe and happy. Trust is important to me, and I want pet parents to feel completely at ease. I’m happy to send updates, photos, or follow any instructions you leave to ensure your pet feels right at home, even when you're not!
About: I may be new to formal pet sitting, but I genuinely care about animals and enjoy spending quiet, gentle time with them. I follow instructions carefully, keep things tidy, and make sure pets feel respected, safe, and calm while their owners are away. I currently work part-time, which gives me flexible time during the day to care for pets. On weekdays, I can take pets for walks, feed them, and spend quality time playing and keeping them company. On weekends, I have even more free time to provide extra attention, longer walks, and cuddles. Caring for pets fits naturally into my routine, and I enjoy making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I do not provide overnight boarding, but I am happy to visit your home to care for your pets or take them on walks. During visits or walks, I make sure pets are safe, follow any instructions you provide, and give them attention, playtime, and care. Your home will be respected and kept clean, and I aim to make your pets feel comfortable and happy. I am responsible, trustworthy, and will take good care of your furry friends while you’re away.
Flushing dog parents share their Rover experiences
Charlie did a really good job with Cato. He was eager to take notes during our first meeting, and double checked most details I provided to ensure he provided the best care for Cato. His communication was very strong, especially when Cato ate something she shouldn’t have. If you need a sitter, I’d do it!
Fadong was excellent!! I needed someone very last minute and reached out to several people early in the morning, and he replied immediately and assured me my boy would be in the best hands. And he meant it! He was very communicative, on time, and very attentive and loving with my Biggie. I am very happy with his care and highly recommend him to any other person looking for high quality care for their pups.

Lily is the absolute best sitter! She is a warm and wonderful person and takes such good care of my 14 year old girl. I have total trust in her to take care of Bella when I’m not home and at work. She always shares the sweetest photos of Bella and goes above and beyond with taking care of her. She is a reliable, trustworthy, honest, good person. Cannot recommend Lily enough!

She was such an angel to come care for my dog last minute!! He’s a big boy and not the easiest to handle and she did a great job with him. She did drop in visits and it was so nice to have someone I could trust in my home and with my dog. 100% recommend her and I will book with her again for next time.

Daniel was beyond professional, he took care of Hiro as his own son and was always the best in the business. I would highly recommend him to anyone who’s going away and entrusting him with their house key and pets to him. Daniel should be the standard of Rover.
