About: I’ve had cats since I was about 10 years old and I’ve had two dogs in my life, one is now 7 years old and my 3rd dog in my life. Im making a career change in my life and have a lot more time on my hands now so my schedule is as flexible as it can be! It was about 28 dogs on the busiest days and the minimum was about 10 so I got to know very different and unique dogs. Booked Charlie for a last minute 1 hour drop-in visit, due to unexpected/urgent appointments that took me out for the day. My pup is a recently adopted rescue with some reactivity and other idiosyncrasies, and I wasn’t comfortable leaving her with an unknown boarder or daycare. I was upfront about Lala’s issues-in-progress and Charlie was gracious, accommodating and communicative. During the hour-long visit, he sent plenty of photos and met my pup where she was at. Joey was amazeballs! It was my first week back to work, after moving into a new place, and day one Astro was having bad separation anxiety. As soon as I reached out, I was chatted back within minutes and Joey met Astro that evening. We started noon time visits/walks immediately the next day, and by the end of the week Astro was in love with him and settled. Joey helped Astro through his lonely week, and also gave my cat Luna some pets when she finally arrived to our new home a few days later.
