I've cared for a variety of pets over the years—including my own cat for 10 years, a guinea pig for 2, a parakeet, and a hamster. I've also looked after my parents' fish and my brother's Husky, and have completed house sits for both cats and dogs during my travels. I have experience with rabbits as well. I have a flexible schedule and live nearby in Forest Hills, so I can easily accommodate your pet's daily routine and provide reliable, attentive, and loving care. I prefer 30-minute drop-in visits and dog walks between the 67th Ave and 75th Ave subway stations, ideally between 8:30–9:00 AM or 4:00–6:00 PM. If you need a different time or location, feel free to ask, and I'll do my best to accommodate your request.

As a homeowner and former pet owner who had relied on house sitters for my own pets, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your home and animals. I’ll make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away, and I’m always happy to send regular updates and photos for peace of mind. I’ll treat your pets with patience and kindness and respect your home as if it were my own. Betty was absolutely incredible watching my cats for two weeks! We were very nervous leaving our babies behind, but she completely put my mind at ease. The level of care was excellent, and I loved receiving regular updates and great photos of my cats while I was away. She even coaxed my very nervous orange boy out from under the couch in just a few days! On top of being wonderful with the animals, Betty was extremely responsive, professional, and easy to work with from start to finish. I came home to very happy, well-cared-for cats. I highly recommend Betty and will definitely be booking them again in the future!

Betty made my first time using Rover such an amazing experience! I was a pet sitter for 3 years, and I would absolutely trust Betty with caring for your fur babies! She was very communicative and made me feel so much better about leaving my senior cat while I went away!
I booked Betty for regular drop-ins this week while I'm at work. She's been very thorough, following Flurry's routine. Good pictures and enough information of the care. He takes a lot of time to warm up, but she's been trying to gain his love, lure him out of his cave, play with him or give him some affection. Very satisfied and will book again soon

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule and live nearby in Forest Hills, so I can easily accommodate your pet’s routine and provide reliable, attentive, and loving care. I prefer 30-minute drop-in visits and dog walks between the 67th Ave and 75th Ave subway stations, ideally 8:30–9:00 AM or 4:00–6:00 PM. If you need a different time or location, feel free to ask, and I’ll do my best to accommodate. For new clients, I prefer an in-person meet & greet before booking to make sure we’re a good mutual fit and that I fully understand your pet’s needs. This is an important part of my process, so if you’re not comfortable meeting beforehand, I may not be the right sitter for you.

- It’s helpful for me to know about your pet’s temperament and routine ahead of time so I can provide the best care possible. For example, how does your dog or cat typically react to a new person coming over? Do they require any medication, or do they have any health issues I should be aware of? For dogs, it’s also helpful to know how they do with other dogs and with children, and whether they tend to try to eat food scraps or pick up inedible objects during walks so I can stay extra alert. If your pet prefers space from other animals, I will make sure to keep a safe distance and avoid stressful situations. The more I know about your pet’s personality, habits, and needs, the better I can keep them safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away.
