About: Hello! My name is Julissa. I have so much love for all pets and animals. Growing up, i’ve always had a dog in the house, and they were always such an important member of our family. It’s been about five years since I’ve had a dog of my own. My last dog’s name was Sasha. We adopted her when she was six and had her until she was about thirteen. She was so smart, loving, and anxious when we first got her so our first few years together were spent establishing trust. Eventually we managed to off-leash train and we worked a lot on her recall so that we could enjoy longer walks and outdoor activities while ensuring that she always felt safe in her environment. At home we set her bed up in the kitchen, where we would pass our time cooking and spending a lot of quality time together. I had so many good years with my Sasha, and since she passed I have genuinely missed spending time with animals on a consistent basis. Since then, most if not all of my friends and family have entrusted me with taking care of their animals when they are busy or traveling, so I’ve had a lot of experience with many different pets and their varying needs/personalities. I work freelance as an artist. I am a musician, so I often stay at home practicing or composing. However most of my work is in the film industry, and this work ranges from smaller independent projects to network television. Although I do work on set sometimes, I try to take on as many post-production gigs as possible, so I often find myself sitting behind a desk all day. I have always made it a priority to work in a field that I am passionate about, and my decision to work with Rover has been no different. Caring for animals is not only something I am passionate about, but also a wonderful opportunity to go on walks and spend quality time with pets. I will always be very clear about any changes in my work schedule if those are to arise, but my reliability and dedication never wavers I have a fenced in yard and plenty of spaces in the house for your pet to wander and feel comfortable. “Vee and Steven have done drop-ins for our rescue Frenchie, Tank, since we both went back to work, and we don't know what we'd do without them. Tank came from a puppy mill with medical needs and separation anxiety, so we were nervous about leaving him. They've been incredible with him. Every visit comes with detailed notes and photos, so we always know how he's doing. They spotted a sore on his paw before we did and flagged it right away. They towel him off and clean his paws without being asked, and they're endlessly patient on rainy days, which he hates. They've also given us genuinely helpful suggestions as we've worked out his setup. You can tell they really care about him. Highly recommend.”

He was very skittish when I first got him, but he warmed up to Shibo right away. My other cat took a liking to him immediately as well—who wouldn’t! About: I do volunteer at dog rescue all the time, that’s how I met our baby boy ROCCO. We’ve been together for 9 years and another 9 years more for sure ☑️ I am full time dog’s burtler. Currently we have 17 yr old mixed poodle gentlman at home. Taking him out for every 2 hours for potty. We go to oakland lake and Crocheron park everyday ! As she got older I still tried to enrich her but playing with her and training her on new commands. I work full time but I'm free on the weekends and home. I found Michelle on short notice when the weather was predicting thunder all day, and Ishby can be alone for a few hours but is scared of thunder. Michelle was easy to communicate with, understanding and trying to make things work for me as best she could even as the weather forecast was changing. When she came for the meet n greet, it was clear she has a way with dogs and Ishby got used to her quickly. She was in touch throughout the visit, took lots of pictures, fed Ishby as I asked her to, and I felt like my baby was in good hands. Grateful for Michelle's help!

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
