About: My name is Jonathan and I'm working as a full-time dog sitter and remote product designer and living in Great Neck, NY. I currently have a 8 year old golden retriever! I have always loved dogs as I grew up with a Maltese when I was in kindergarten before getting my golden. I'm also very good at training through positive reinforcement and handling medium to large breeds. I also have experience taking care of multiple dogs at the same time. Lastly, I can easily tell when dogs are in trouble or need to use the bathroom, etc. My schedule is extremely flexible so I can accommodate most requests! I wake up at 9am everyday to let my dog out for a morning potty break. We then go for a walk at noon, one at 6pm, and one more at 10pm before bed. I have a fenced in yard that is locked at all times. About: I’m active and enjoying running/walking. I grew up with a dog in the house and took care of her until her last days. As she got older I still tried to enrich her but playing with her and training her on new commands. I work full time but I'm free on the weekends and home. Weekdays I can accommodate evenings if needed. Friday-Sunday is possible for me as well. When I’m taking care of dogs I like to spend most of my time with them and love play! I found Michelle on short notice when the weather was predicting thunder all day, and Ishby can be alone for a few hours but is scared of thunder. Michelle was easy to communicate with, understanding and trying to make things work for me as best she could even as the weather forecast was changing. When she came for the meet n greet, it was clear she has a way with dogs and Ishby got used to her quickly.
