We absolutely love her. She was so great with our little puppy. We did drop in home visits twice a day. She was very attentive and made our puppy feel special and loved. Cleaned up after him. Sent lots of pictures so we knew what was also happening during the visits. Would 100% recommend her for your pet. And will 100% be having her puppy sit again. Thanks Wendy!

About: I have owned both cats and big and small dogs and am experienced in training, raising, and taking care of all types of dogs in various states of health and ages. I love all animals! I work part time as I am applying to masters programs right now, so I will have plenty of time for dog walks and animal drop ins! I do not offer boarding or day care at my own house because of the multiple outdoor cats and other animals (like raccoons) in my neighborhood.

About: Honestly? I’d do this for free — and I have, many times. I’ve cared for dogs and cats for friends, family, and neighbors my whole life, and recently completed a month-long live-in cat sit. My background working with kids in sports and with autism has made me patient, attentive, and calm in any situation. Your pet won’t just be watched, they’ll be treated like family. My schedule is about as flexible as it gets. I work part-time just a few hours every few days, and the rest of my time is spent working from home on my business. Your pet won’t be sitting alone waiting for someone to come home. They’ll have a present, engaged, companion, ready for walks, playtime, and everything in between. Whether caring for your pet in my home or yours, safety, and comfort always come first my home features are fully fenced backyard, perfect for off leash play and outdoor time without any worry. I’m in a quiet, low traffic neighborhood that’s ideal for relaxed, walks, and outdoor adventures. Inside, my home is calm and welcoming. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I bring the same attentiveness and routine focused approach so your pet stays comfortable in the environment they know best.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes, and temperaments. In addition to owning and caring for my own dogs, I’ve worked in doggy daycare settings and with dog walking businesses, giving me experience managing multiple dogs safely while ensuring each one receives individual attention and care. I have raised puppies from a young age and am experienced with basic obedience training, crate training, potty training, leash manners, and reinforcing positive behaviors. I am also comfortable working with reactive, nervous, high-energy, and strong-willed dogs, always prioritizing patience, consistency, and safety. Whether your dog needs long walks, playtime, structured care, medication administration, puppy support, or simply extra love and attention while you’re away, I strive to provide a safe, reliable, and stress-free experience for both pets and their owners. I treat every dog as if they were my own and work hard to ensure they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for. Dogs are at the center of my daily life, and because I am home full-time, I am able to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and personalized care throughout the day. Your pet won’t be left alone for extended periods and will receive the attention, exercise, structure, and affection they deserve. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages and temperaments and am happy to accommodate feeding schedules, medications, crate routines, training reinforcement, and any special requests to help your pet feel comfortable and at home. Creating a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment is my top priority. I am home full-time, which means your pet will receive plenty of supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day. I share my home with two friendly, well-socialized dogs (25 lbs and 40 lbs) who are both very gentle and get along well with other dogs and pets. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and comfort level so they can feel as relaxed as possible while you’re away. Whether your dog enjoys socializing, playing, going for walks, or simply having a quiet place to relax, I adjust my care to meet their individual needs. Safety is extremely important to me, and all pets are closely supervised. I maintain a clean, pet-friendly environment and follow any instructions provided by owners regarding feeding, medications, exercise, crate routines, or special care. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.

Judy has helped me countless times with Tiger. She is thoughtful and caring, and took great care of Tiger. This time I’m gone longer so I asked Judy if she could take Tiger out for a walk. She has no problem with it and took pictures when they were out. Tiger is happy and I’m thankful for Judy’s great work!

I’ve also worked full-time for a year at a veterinary pharmacy, and part-time as a kennel assistant at a dog and cat daycare where I mostly boarded, walked, and socialized with the dogs. I love animals, and want to give them the best care because that’s what they deserve! I unfortunately am only available until August, but my schedule over the summer is very flexible. The only day I am strictly unavailable are Sundays, but otherwise from 11am-7pm I am free. Check-ins will include checking their food/water, general status, and of course, playtime! About: Hello! My name is Julissa. I have so much love for all pets and animals. Growing up, i’ve always had a dog in the house, and they were always such an important member of our family. It’s been about five years since I’ve had a dog of my own. My last dog’s name was Sasha. We adopted her when she was six and had her until she was about thirteen. She was so smart, loving, and anxious when we first got her so our first few years together were spent establishing trust. Eventually we managed to off-leash train and we worked a lot on her recall so that we could enjoy longer walks and outdoor activities while ensuring that she always felt safe in her environment. At home we set her bed up in the kitchen, where we would pass our time cooking and spending a lot of quality time together. I had so many good years with my Sasha, and since she passed I have genuinely missed spending time with animals on a consistent basis. Since then, most if not all of my friends and family have entrusted me with taking care of their animals when they are busy or traveling, so I’ve had a lot of experience with many different pets and their varying needs/personalities. I work freelance as an artist. I am a musician, so I often stay at home practicing or composing. However most of my work is in the film industry, and this work ranges from smaller independent projects to network television. Although I do work on set sometimes, I try to take on as many post-production gigs as possible, so I often find myself sitting behind a desk all day. I have always made it a priority to work in a field that I am passionate about, and my decision to work with Rover has been no different. Caring for animals is not only something I am passionate about, but also a wonderful opportunity to go on walks and spend quality time with pets. I will always be very clear about any changes in my work schedule if those are to arise, but my reliability and dedication never wavers I have a fenced in yard and plenty of spaces in the house for your pet to wander and feel comfortable. I am also very trust worthy, organized, communicative, and extremely eager to work with you!

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
