About: I’ve had the pleasure of being a pet sitter professionally as well as family and friends for over 10 years now. I’ve lived with a lab/pit/shepherd mix for two years. I was also an owner and trainer of a multilingual Havanese. He was trained to understand commands in English, Chinese & Spanish. He was also trained to sing, dance and jump into any vessel on command! I can follow any specific training instructions or schedule you may have specifically for your fur babies. Cats always seem to enjoy my presence, seeking massages, playtime or attention. Looking forward to meeting your loved ones and becoming fast friends! My schedule is flexible and I can almost always be available at a moment’s notice depending on the location. I am always happy to be of service in a bind. I’d care for pets in your homes according to your specific needs and guidelines. It’s important for me to facilitate a seamless transition and experience for both owners and pets, avoiding disruption to the schedule or environment. I understand and consider the attachment that your fur or furless family members have to you so I aim to be a comforting presence as much as possible.

About: Hello! I cared for my previous dog for 13 wonderful years and now have another beloved, active and social dog who joins my husband and I on runs and hikes. I have hands-on experience with senior dogs, including preparing homemade meals, providing physical assistance, and administering medications. I’ve also trained multiple puppies in basic commands, tricks, and housebreaking. If you choose to book a boarding or daycare service, I provide a calm, clean, and attentive environment for every dog in my care. I live in a safe, quiet neighborhood, perfect for relaxed walks and bathroom breaks. My home is spotless, organized, spacious, and free of obstacles—so dogs can move safely, and owners can feel confident their pet is cared for in a secure, pristine environment. You can rest assured that every dog in my care receives the same thoughtful, high-standard attention I give my own. Use code ELIZAM49888 to get $20 off your first Rover booking! Your dog will never be rushed or left unattended for long periods. Safety and trust are my top priorities. In my home, dogs are always supervised, with routines followed closely for meals, walks, and rest. About: I’m currently in my second year of veterinary school at TuftsVet. I’ve had extensive animal experience as a result, including 500+ hours in a veterinary clinic. I’ve also worked full-time for a year at a veterinary pharmacy, and part-time as a kennel assistant at a dog and cat daycare where I mostly boarded, walked, and socialized with the dogs. I love animals, and want to give them the best care because that’s what they deserve! I unfortunately am only available until August, but my schedule over the summer is very flexible. The only day I am strictly unavailable are Sundays, but otherwise from 11am-7pm I am free. Check-ins will include checking their food/water, general status, and of course, playtime! Any instructions that the owner leaves will be followed and photos of the pet will be sent to the owner during check-ins.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes, and temperaments. In addition to owning and caring for my own dogs, I’ve worked in doggy daycare settings and with dog walking businesses, giving me experience managing multiple dogs safely while ensuring each one receives individual attention and care. I have raised puppies from a young age and am experienced with basic obedience training, crate training, potty training, leash manners, and reinforcing positive behaviors. I am also comfortable working with reactive, nervous, high-energy, and strong-willed dogs, always prioritizing patience, consistency, and safety. Whether your dog needs long walks, playtime, structured care, medication administration, puppy support, or simply extra love and attention while you’re away, I strive to provide a safe, reliable, and stress-free experience for both pets and their owners. I treat every dog as if they were my own and work hard to ensure they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for. Dogs are at the center of my daily life, and because I am home full-time, I am able to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and personalized care throughout the day. Your pet won’t be left alone for extended periods and will receive the attention, exercise, structure, and affection they deserve. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages and temperaments and am happy to accommodate feeding schedules, medications, crate routines, training reinforcement, and any special requests to help your pet feel comfortable and at home. Creating a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment is my top priority. I am home full-time, which means your pet will receive plenty of supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day. I share my home with two friendly, well-socialized dogs (25 lbs and 40 lbs) who are both very gentle and get along well with other dogs and pets. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and comfort level so they can feel as relaxed as possible while you’re away. Whether your dog enjoys socializing, playing, going for walks, or simply having a quiet place to relax, I adjust my care to meet their individual needs. Safety is extremely important to me, and all pets are closely supervised. I maintain a clean, pet-friendly environment and follow any instructions provided by owners regarding feeding, medications, exercise, crate routines, or special care. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.

About: I have developed a deep passion and care for animals since I was a kid. I possess experience in walking and caring for the pets of family and friends. I currently work part time as a patio furniture delivery professional. Which allows me to maintain a flexible schedule with plenty of free time on the days I am not assigned deliveries. This flexibility works perfectly for pet care. As I can dedicate generous amounts of time to caring for animals whether that includes daily walks, play sessions, feeding, or general companionship. I have prior experience caring for pets. and I am comfortable managing their routines to ensure they remain happy and healthy. My schedule allows me to spend quality time with pets throughout the day. While I don’t have pets myself I am well acquainted with the needs of animals through my friends and family. I am comfortable spending time with them and can attend to their requirements, such as ensuring they are crated when necessary, while also respecting any boundaries already set.

About: Patience is my superpower. I've spent years caring for the senior members of my family, so I'm tuned in to comfort, routine, and noticing the little signs that something's off, which makes me a great fit for older dogs or any pup who needs gentle, attentive care. With 7 years of daily experience as a dog owner, I know feeding, exercise, and downtime, and I'll treat your dog like one of my own. I finally have some free time this summer, and am pretty flexible when in comes to scheduling so if anything I will be able to work around your schedule, whatever is easiest and most convenient for you. Building trust and providing loving and caring is something at the core of what makes an interaction beneficial on both sides and is at the core of my ideology when it comes to anybody especially animals.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
