That said, I found her to be trustworthy and I knew my fur baby was in good hands!”

“Elizabeth helped to care for my 2 cats while I was away for almost 4 weeks. Elizabeth was responsible and spent a lot of time with my cats. One of my cats is very skittish but he warmed up to Elizabeth quickly. She followed my instructions and kept me updated on each of her visits. I came home knowingly cats were taken care of and they enjoyed her visit. She did a great job for me!”

“This was the first time that Michelle dropped in on Cuddles. She gave her food, water and a clean litter box. Cuddles is not a friendly cat and seems very happy that Michelle was there to provide for her. I would definitely ask Michelle to care for Cuddles again.”

“Cynthia was in every way the best possible pet sitter I could have imagined ! This situation was an unusual one, since I was booking for my son, who had to go in to the Hospital, and I am across the Country. Cynthia took everything I asked of her in stride, and did a wonderful job caring for the two cats. She was also very understanding when I had to cancel part of the Booking, because my son was released from the Hospital earlier than expected. Anyone who hires Cynthia will have the best pet sitter they could want.”

About: Hello! My name is Julissa. I have so much love for all pets and animals. Growing up, i’ve always had a dog in the house, and they were always such an important member of our family. It’s been about five years since I’ve had a dog of my own. My last dog’s name was Sasha. We adopted her when she was six and had her until she was about thirteen. She was so smart, loving, and anxious when we first got her so our first few years together were spent establishing trust. Eventually we managed to off-leash train and we worked a lot on her recall so that we could enjoy longer walks and outdoor activities while ensuring that she always felt safe in her environment. At home we set her bed up in the kitchen, where we would pass our time cooking and spending a lot of quality time together. I had so many good years with my Sasha, and since she passed I have genuinely missed spending time with animals on a consistent basis. Since then, most if not all of my friends and family have entrusted me with taking care of their animals when they are busy or traveling, so I’ve had a lot of experience with many different pets and their varying needs/personalities. I work freelance as an artist. I am a musician, so I often stay at home practicing or composing. However most of my work is in the film industry, and this work ranges from smaller independent projects to network television. Although I do work on set sometimes, I try to take on as many post-production gigs as possible, so I often find myself sitting behind a desk all day. I have always made it a priority to work in a field that I am passionate about, and my decision to work with Rover has been no different. Caring for animals is not only something I am passionate about, but also a wonderful opportunity to go on walks and spend quality time with pets. I will always be very clear about any changes in my work schedule if those are to arise, but my reliability and dedication never wavers I have a fenced in yard and plenty of spaces in the house for your pet to wander and feel comfortable. I am also very trust worthy, organized, communicative, and extremely eager to work with you!
“Morgan is amazing! She is very thoughtful, kind, and professional. My cat is usually a bit cautious with strangers, but he fell in love with her at the first sight. Morgan kept me updated with daily reports and photos, and answered all my questions promptly and clearly. Communication with her is always smooth, pleasant, and assuring. I feel fortunate knowing that I have someone I can trust with my 🐈⬛ when cannot be with him.”

“Thank you so so much Soraya!! You take care of our zoo of a household (lol)- 3 cats, 2 fish, and a turtle with such care and dedication. You have given us peace of mind every single time we’re away. Your detailed pet visit cards and photos gave us that little piece of home from oceans away we always need. Also, thank you for being so flexible working around time differences and late messages!! We will be sure to reach out for any and all future trips, we know our girls will miss you till your next visit ❤️”

About: What truly sets me apart is my lifelong, hands-on experience as a devoted pet parent — especially with senior dogs and emotionally sensitive pets. I cared for my beloved senior dog Rocki for 14 years, supporting him through every stage of life, including the extra patience, gentleness, and attentiveness senior dogs need. Today, I share my life with my dog River and also help care for my partner’s 16-year-old senior dog, so I am very comfortable with senior care, slower mobility, routine-based needs, and gentle handling. I’m highly attentive to body language, emotional comfort, and stress signals, which helps me support anxious, sensitive, or aging dogs in a calm and reassuring way. My home provides a safe, structured, and loving environment where dogs can feel secure and relaxed. I’m also patient and consistent with younger dogs, helping reinforce routines, calm behavior, and positive habits through gentle guidance and structure. Every dog in my care is treated like family with safety, emotional awareness, patience, and genuine love. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. I structure my days around consistent walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and calm rest periods for my own dog, River, as well as my partner’s senior dog. Because caring for animals is already part of my everyday routine, I’m able to provide dependable, attentive, and structured care for pets staying with me. I prioritize supervision, emotional comfort, and routine so every dog feels safe, relaxed, and cared for throughout the day. In my home, pets are treated like family in a calm, safe, and loving environment. I follow each dog’s normal routine closely, including feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and plenty of rest and comfort. I pay close attention to body language, emotional needs, and stress signals to ensure every dog feels secure and relaxed. My home includes a fenced backyard for safe outdoor time, cozy indoor rest areas, and close supervision throughout the day. In a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain their pet’s established routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I provide gentle, attentive care, ensure safety, and send regular updates with photos so pet parents always feel reassured while they’re away.

My background working with kids in sports and with autism has made me patient, attentive, and calm in any situation. Your pet won’t just be watched, they’ll be treated like family. My schedule is about as flexible as it gets. I work part-time just a few hours every few days, and the rest of my time is spent working from home on my business. Your pet won’t be sitting alone waiting for someone to come home. They’ll have a present, engaged, companion, ready for walks, playtime, and everything in between. Whether caring for your pet in my home or yours, safety, and comfort always come first my home features are fully fenced backyard, perfect for off leash play and outdoor time without any worry. I’m in a quiet, low traffic neighborhood that’s ideal for relaxed, walks, and outdoor adventures. Inside, my home is calm and welcoming. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I bring the same attentiveness and routine focused approach so your pet stays comfortable in the environment they know best.

“Shirley is the best! She is responsible, kind, and very communicative. We appreciated all the photos she shared and took comfort knowing that our puppy was in great hands with Shirley. You can tell that she is a true animal lover. Highly recommended!!”

“Julia was terrific! She and Bailey hit it off right away. Got a bunch of pics with Bailey out for a walk, playing with toys and a restful night sleep. Will use Julia again!”

“My first time booking with Wendy and everything was amazing! If we are ever in need of petsitting again, Wendy would be my first call. She was extremely communicative throughout, and sent us lots of photos and videos. My dog is a bit sensitive and like our baby, so we do not trust her in anyone’s hands. That said, I found her to be trustworthy and I knew my fur baby was in good hands!”

“Cooper has stayed with Nicole twice so far and the second time I bought him to her house, he ran inside. She seems to be very attentive and is incredibly responsive. We’ll definitely be staying here again! Thank you for the awesome experience for my dogs first boarding.”

“Absolutely recommend. Nari and her family took care of San, a 4-year old Shiba Inu for 3 weeks. From the first moment to the last day, they treated San like family and provided daily updates. I fully trust them 😄”

“Jun G is extremely accommodating generous and sincerely kind. My dog Beau doesn't even look back at me ounce he's with Jun lol. Sends lots of pics video and updates, she is wonderful, I feel very comfortable Beau is safe and in the very best personal home care, awesome 👌”

“My pups run to Ilona and her home when they come to stay! This is rare for my dogs as they are anxious and are homebodies. She has a wonderful environment for dogs and and Goes above and beyond for them!”

“William was took care of our dogs and was intentional about making sure they had what they needed. He sent a video each day he had them and was great to talk to. Plenty of space for the pups and kids to play with them. We are grateful and would definitely work with him again!”

“Von (Vee) took excellent care of our dog Kona while we went on vacation for a week, we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. From the start, she was communicative, thoughtful, and clearly cared deeply about creating a comfortable, loving environment. Throughout the stay, she sent detailed updates along with tons of photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was obvious our dog was happy, well cared for, and getting plenty of attention and affection. You can tell she treats the dogs she watches like her own. We’re so grateful for the level of care she provided and would absolutely book with her again without hesitation. Highly recommend!”

“If you want your pup to feel like they're at a home away from home - book with Tina. She and her family (two young children who will entertain your dog endlessly) will provide a loving environment with lots of play and attention. I boarded my 7 year old pit mix for several days and he felt right at home immediately. Tina was great sharing photos and videos of Lincoln playing in the fenced in back and taking lots of walks (I think he thought twice about coming back home :)). So happy I found her.”

“Veronica is truly amazing! We adopted a rescue puppy after both of our beloved dogs, Chester and Jack, passed away this year. To say that we are overprotective of our new pup, Pablo, would be a huge understatement. Veronica exceeded our expectations in every way! She is kind, caring, and constantly stayed in communication with us via texts, photos, and videos. Pablo came home relaxed and happy. It was easy to see how comfortable his vacation with Veronica was for the 6+ days that he stayed with her, and it allowed us to see family out West without feeling horrible about leaving our pup. Veronica receives our highest recommendation! Her responsiveness was unparalleled (even with a three hour delayed flight coming back into NYC on NYE). Knowing that Pablo was under such extraordinary care made being away from him much easier. This experience was exceptional and we cannot thank Veronica enough for all that she did to take care of Pablo (who is on his way to being only five months old!). Thank you Veronica and thank you to Rover for making the connection for us. We are already planning Pablo’s next stay!!”

“I have a 2 year old high energy Lab. Tanu took great care of her. Plenty of activities and great care. Posted lots of pictures and videos throughout to let us know how my dog was doing. Would use Tanu next time when i need someone to dog sit. Recommend 100%”

“What a great decision we made by choosing Yakie and Kathy to watch our Old English sheepdog! He was very well taken care of. We got many pictures and communion and most of all, our dog was in safe and loving hands! I definitely recommend them! We will see you ladies soon!”

“Sarah gave Dante an outstanding stay caring for him while we were away visiting family do 3 days. She sent plenty of photos and kept us updated several times a day on how he was doing. She took Dante on 2-3 walks a day and gave him plenty of opportunities to make new furry friends at Central Park. Highly recommend Sarah and hope we can work together again!”

“Britany took amazing care of Dixie over Thanksgiving! Tons of playing with other dogs which made her so happy, and she cane back sweeter thank ever. Very accommodating- thank you!”

“Excellent, Great, Amazing !!! This is first time I used boarding for my fur baby. And my experience with Jialarie was AWESOME. Daily updates and pictures, which I love will be using her again soon.”

“Noelle was amazing! We felt Koda was in such good hands. She took the time to learn our pup’s routine — feeding, walks, everything — and really stuck to it. She kept us updated with cute photos and even checked in to see if certain things were normal for her, which I really appreciated. You can tell she genuinely cares. We’ll definitely be booking with Noelle again!”

“Eric is an absolutely fantastic sitter - very accommodating and communicative. He watched my two large dogs for six days, including one who needed several daily medications. Very grateful to have found him and look forward to booking again in the future!”

“Sayarlin was soo accommodating while watching my dog Dream! Even when I had to extend the pick up dates she was still willing to help out as best as she could. She even took Dream to the park to play which i'm sure she enjoyed. I will definitely use her to watch Dream in the future.”
