About: Hello! My name is Cameron, and everyone who knows me knows I love animals (especially dogs!). I work from home and have another dog-loving, work from home roommate, so someone will always be home to play with your pet. I've been doing Rover for 4 years and have experience with all different breeds, sizes, ages, and needs. I'm a punctual person and take pet care very seriously. Ultimately, I am a passionate animal lover and will treat your fur-baby with all the love and respect they deserve :) I'm a homebody who works from home with another WFH roommate, so I can guarantee that your fur baby will be cared for 24/7. I love incorporating dog walking/boarding into my routine and even taking them to dog-friendly events if the dog is interested. My schedule is very flexible and I'm usually available for same-day bookings! I'm an early-riser who loves routines and can stick to a consistent exercise/feeding schedule. When sitting/boarding, I can ensure your dog is let out frequently, fed regularly, and getting lots of attention. I’ll take them for long walks in the sun or snuggle inside when it's cold. As much as I love to play games and snuggle with pets when they're missing their owner, it's important to me that I cater to the animal's desires to make them comfortable. Whether your pet is active, lazy, shy, aggressive, or in need of a good round of fetch at Tompkins Square dog park, their safety and happiness is my top priority. I understand that every dog is different and will work to accommodate their preferences. Additionally, I adore taking photos of pets and I'd be happy to share photo updates of our time together. You can rest easy knowing your pet is safe, loved, and having a great time! Please note that I have moved from the East Village to Little Italy, and most of the photos on my profile are from my old apartment.
“Britni is fantastic!! We had a travel issue and ended up getting home from a trip much later than anticipated and she was able to come at the last minute and walk our dog Luna and feed her dinner and hang out with her for a few hours. Luna can be a little shy, but seems to have warmed up to Britni pretty quickly. Highly recommend her!”

“I always feel at peace and at ease knowing Adam will be taking care of animals. He’s efficient, genuine and timely. I feel fortunate to have found his support on this platform.”

“Carter took care of our cat, Lola, for a week while we were away and did a wonderful job. He communicated consistently, gave her supplements without issue, and made sure she got plenty of TLC. He even helped with a few extra things around the apartment, which we really appreciated. It was clear he’s a cat person. We would happily book him again.”

“Vanessa was amazing and a trustworthy sitter for my cat Luna! She was very communicative and made me feel comfortable that my cat was in good hands. She sent tons of pics and videos and gave highly detailed notes for each visit. I would definitely recommend Vanessa!”

“We needed a last minute sitter over the holidays and tbh since I hadn't used Susan previously I was naturally a little nervous. However Susan was very kind and professional. She took very good care of our two cats and respected our place. I would definitely recommend!”

“Ava was exceptional with Reggie! It was my first time leaving him with someone and she put my stress at ease with daily photos and updates. He was in great hands and I came home to one happy cat!! Thank you Ava!!”

“Steven is the best. The cats love him. Emma is basically his shadow during every visit. He’s excellent at taking care of the cats, photos, communication, etc. Steven is a must, will always book him!”

About: What sets me apart is that I’ve primarily cared for cats for years, for friends, neighbors, and repeat households, so I truly understand feline behavior and personalities. (I also have a fur baby of my own) I’m very comfortable with daily litter maintenance, feeding routines (including special diets), administering basic medications, brushing, bathing when needed, nail trims, and, most importantly, giving cats the type of attention they prefer — whether that’s active play, quiet companionship, or respectful space. I’m patient with shy or anxious cats and know how to build trust at their pace. I’ve also cared for senior cats who need gentler handling and closer monitoring. I pay attention to subtle behavior changes (which is especially important with cats) and always keep owners updated. While I’ve walked dogs as well, my strength is creating a calm, clean, loving environment where cats feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I currently work remotely part time so I have plenty of time during the day and evenings. I am flexible as long as I have some notice if I need to stop by during the day/evenings/weekend. I prefer taking care of animals where they are comfortable (clients home), I live in an apartment with my cat where I keep the environment calm and clean.
“Christopher is such a great pet sitter! He took care of Cabbage while I am away. Cabbage is an extremely shy cat but Chris was able to become friends with him in few days! Highly recommended.”

“Mariele truly went above and beyond in every way!! She kept us updated throughout the day with the sweetest, funniest, and most detailed notes and photos. Our kitties were clearly well taken care of, played with, and given so much love while we were away. So much so that we think they missed Mariele for a while after our return, haha! We are so thankful to have found her, and look forward to the next booking. She is wonderful!!”

“Cat parents take note! Ellana is wonderful! Caring, on time, conscientious. My tough boy kitty Lenny LOVES her. She communicates everything immediately. She is my favorite. Your baby is in great hands with her.”

Gillian was so helpful with pet sitting my cat Malakai! I booked her last minute and she was extremely flexible with receiving the instructions and keys. I felt very comfortable with him in her care. She provided detailed visit summaries and lots of pictures so I didn't miss my boy too much. I would happily hire her again and recommend her to a friend.

Gabrielle has been amazing with our puppy Rufus! She has been super communicative and accommodating with scheduling needs, sends thoughtful and detailed updates, photos, and videos when she checks on him. Rufus seems to love her and she is clearly very knowledgeable and sensitive around dogs and our cats. She has become a regular for us and Rufus couldn't be happier about that. Super recommend!

Miranda Has been amazing with our puppy Rufus! She was thorough from the start and clearly is knowledgeable and comfortable around animals. She sends great updates and has been super accommodating with our schedules and requests. She's a regular sitter for Rufus now!

Yuxin is now our go-to sitter in JC! She is really amazing with cats - all of my babies were really comfortable around her (which was super impressive as one of them is extremely shy!). We received detailed videos/photos after each check in. Coming back home we saw how relaxed and happy our cats were even though we had been away for a while. Thank you, Yuxin!
