About: I've grown up with dogs, and I hope it's only right that I continue to share my love for them in adulthood. I'm beyond grateful for the trust my friends and family have put in me to care for, walk, and train their dogs for the last couple of years. I hope to get to share my love for your furry friend next! As a full-time student it's difficult for me to find a job that fits into my busy schedule. School can be stressful and tiring, but I always found being with pets keeps my energy alive. I believe it's important to get to know a pet to satisfy their needs including: needing to go outside, feeling anxious, hungry, etc. I pay very close attention to the behavior of my pets to ensure their quality of life is at its highest with me.
“Petros did everything I asked him to do for my cats. Amazing job 🙌🏽 He also did meet and greet beforehand to make sure that all goes well when I leave which is commendable. I will surely rebook him again.”
“We used Vanessa again for our cat and she was so communicative and helpful. Our cat has hyperthyroidism so she’s needs to be on a diet with medication. Vanessa made sure she got her food in a timely way! Highly recommend”

“Mary went above and beyond taking care of my two cats while I was gone for a full week. One of my cats had a few accidents while I was away and Mary when the extra mile, ensuring he was okay and cleaning up the area. She also was extremely communicative, sent plenty of pictures, and gave my cat so much love! I could not recommend her enough!”

“Mia is an enthusiastic animal lover who did a lovely job taking care of my geriatric Maine Coon cat. She is conscientious and kept me informed while we were away. I would hire her again.”

“Christopher is such a wonderful, communicative cat sitter! His visit recaps and photos put me at ease while on vacation. It was so reassuring to know my cat was in good hands.”

“Sophia was super communicative, thorough, and loving with my senior cat. She made me feel super safe leaving him with her. I will definitely be booking with her in the future and couldn’t recommend her more!!”

About: Animals have been drawn to me my whole life, just as I have been drawn to them! I’ve had about every pet you could think of, and even went vegan for ethical reasons and never went back! Dogs have a very special place in my heart. I’m comfortable around all dogs and am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your animal. When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your dogs, I will dedicate my time to loving them just like you do! If possible, I would love to be able to take them to the dog park where they can also interact with other animals while you're away. I have a sweet dog of my own, a cockapoo, who is full of energy and curiosity! I couldn’t live without him. I work from home 4 days a week which allows me to spend lots of quality time playing in the park and making new furry friends! I am also flexible and can accept last minute bookings. When I’m with your pets, I would love to take your precious babies for walks, to parks, or take on anything you already do with them to make them the most comfortable!
About: ⭐️ Get $20 off your first booking! Use code ANTOIC46087: https://www.rover.com/sit/antoic46087 For the past 26 years, dogs have always been an integral part of my life. I am lucky to have been surrounded by their love since I was 6, and (not to brag but) have always been my dogs' favorite human in my family. From a 16 year old toy poodle diva, to an anxious but goofy rescued doppelgänger of Dante (from Disney's Coco), I have plenty of experience training and caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and different needs. DOG BOARDING - snuggles after playtime to calm your dog down before bedtime is an important thing I've learned from raising a hyperactive beagle puppy HOUSE SITTING - light occasional snack can help with bonding and distracting a dog who is anxious to have a stranger home while waiting for their beloved human to return DOGGY DAY CARE - tidying up my own place not only for my own good, but also to keep dangerous items or poisonous foods out of reach DOG WALKING - running, brisk walking, or slow strolls :) ✦ Schedule ─ I work mostly from home, so your fur children can always have my time and attention, and regular walkies or outside breaks. ✤ Environment ─ I am confident that your fur baby will trust and feel safe with me. I live on my own and can give them 100% of my attention.
About: I’ve had a dog all my life (two labs), have take care of neighbors pets and volunteered at an animal shelter in highschool. I’m a true dog lover I am available on the weekends. I woke from home Monday and Friday which are lighter days for me with availability to dog walk or sit. I live in an apartment so I would take your dog on a walk or could watch them at your apartment as mine is too small!
“Scott is the best! He has done drop-in visits with our cat multiple times while we have been away on vacation and we always have a great experience. Our cat seems to love him!”

Nayeli was communicative, responsible and considerate, and went the extra mile while watching my cat - she even brought over a treat (after asking my permission) to give my shy girl to get her to come out. She is clearly an animal lover and I would highly recommend her!

I can't recommend Jihyun enough! This was my first time booking with her, and she went above and beyond from the start. She did a meet-and-greet to get to know me and my two cats and learn their routines, then came back a second time to pick up a key when I didn't have a spare ready which was incredibly accommodating. While I was away, Jihyun sent photo updates, played with my guys, and followed every instruction I left. She was also incredibly respectful of my home. I have a camera I keep on to check in on my cats and told her she was welcome to turn it around during visits, and she said it was no problem at all to leave it as is. She's a fast/responsive communicator, trustworthy, and my cats were happy and relaxed when I got home. Already planning to book her again!
If you have a cat, Ganlu is like the guru of sitters. Honestly, I don’t think you can find better care. We booked her for an extended period and she just surprised me every day. We had a bunch of sitters through the years that did the basics which was ok, but Ganlu did so much more: she played every day and even brought toys, she brushed our cat on a regular basis, she cleaned and vacuumed the dining and litter areas, she happily did me a few favors as well. She was flexible with the booking, communicative, she let me know about any concerns with our cat. So grateful for her, we had peace of mind even if we were gone a while.

Anne is truly the best! She took such incredible care of my cats while I was away on vacation. She kept me updated with thoughtful messages and photos the whole time. Coming home to two happy, relaxed cats made it clear they had been loved and well cared for while I was gone. Will definitely have her watch them again!

Chloe is an absolutely amazing sitter! She is super clear and communicative and great with my pets! My cats hide when anyone else checks on them, but they seem happy to just come out and play with Chloe - definitely a huge weight off my mind when I need to travel!

Jacky has cared for my cat on a handful of occasions now, and she’s been awesome every time! She’s reliable, thoughtful, and always goes above and beyond. The photos she takes are the best, and I always trust my cat is in good hands. Can’t recommend her enough!

Aniko was an excellent sitter for my 19yo diabetic cat. We met ahead of time and my cat immediately loved her. She kept me up to date with pictures and videos throughout my trip. Aniko gave detailed insights into each visit with him and even brought him a new toy (which he is obsessed with). I came home to a happy cat thanks to Aniko. I will be reaching out to her in the future when I need a sitter. 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thomas is the perfect pet sitter! He watched my two cats and was incredibly communicative throughout. He sent lots of photos, played with them every day, and spent extra time making sure they were well cared for. You can tell he’s a true animal lover. 10/10, I would absolutely book with him again!

- 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
