About: I’ve been a dog owner for over 10 years, and caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. Over the years, I’ve also helped watch and walk many of the neighborhood dogs, which gave me experience with different breeds, sizes, and personalities. Whether it’s puppies full of energy or senior dogs who need a little extra patience, I know how to adjust to each dog’s needs. I also have a passion for staying active — I love running and walking — so I can make sure your dog gets the right amount of exercise, whether that’s a long jog or a leisurely stroll. More than anything, I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. Im currently a student in Manhattan, which allows me to have an extremely flexible and open lifestyle. Sometimes my calendar fails to update so please reach out and I’d be happy to respond and give you my most up to date availability! Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first with me. Since I won’t be hosting pets in my own home, I focus on providing reliable care in your pet’s familiar environment, where they feel most secure. About: When asked about my dream job, I always say dog walker. I love dogs, and I love walking. I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life, growing up with a German Shepherd and a Miniature Schnauzer, whom I lovingly cared for until he was 16. This is our 2nd time booking pet care with Mia and both experiences have been seamless. Mia is communicative, kind, and always goes above and beyond in her care of our cat. We love receiving the many pictures of our cat playing with her new favorite toy (introduced to her by Mia) at every check-in and appreciate how prompt and professional she is. We even had an issue with our wifi going out while we were away that Mia helped to problem solve so we were able to feed our cat virtually. 10/10 recommend booking Mia for your pet care!
Jenna was amazing with my cat, Chris! He doesn’t like everyone and can be very shy with new people but he actually came out for her which shows how comfortable he was with her. Jenna was so communicative, friendly, and I knew I was leaving Chris in good hands with her. She is the first person I can say I really trust leaving him with as I know she will take care of him as if he’s her own. Definitely will be booking Jenna again in the future!
Andrea was once again an absolutely fantastic sitter! She takes the cutest photos and always has fun descriptions of the day’s events and escapades. She also left our apartment spotless and is super responsive! I absolutely recommend booking Andrea and I plan to continue using her.

Adiba was amazing with my difficult little boy, Nacho! She followed all of my instructions perfectly, and Nacho warmed up to her so quickly. She sent me a play-by-play throughout the entire visit, keeping me updated on his body language, how he was reacting to her, and how comfortable he seemed having her in his home. She also sent lots of photos and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind! If you have an anxious or reactive dog, you can feel confident that Adiba will follow your instructions, read their cues, and let them warm up at their own pace. I felt completely comfortable having Nacho in her care and would absolutely recommend her!
Amanda took amazing care of my very young puppy when we were in town for work. She was communicative, responsible, treated my pup with as much love as I would have wanted to give him. Samantha is a Super Star! Our kitty can be a little distant and sometimes a brat, but Samantha was very patient with her and gave her space. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
