“Samantha was fantastic with our 2 cats while we were away. My older cat can take a while to warm up but Samantha was patient and extremely attentive to her needs, while giving the younger one all the play and snuggles she was looking for. Samantha was communicative, sending fantastic photos and updates and flexible with accommodating last minute requests for additional drop ins. Would highly recommend and book again for future needs!”

“Anana was brilliant. She sent goofy pics of our little orange boy. There was an issue with our door and she worked with us to work through it. She communicated well and is very reliable. Thank you so much Anana!”

“Cindy did drop-in visit for my cat, Tart. It was my first time ever leaving Tart and Cindy was amazing with communication and provided so much love and care to Tart! I really appreciate her making the whole experience so easy!”

“Anna was fantastic throughout the time she spent looking after our two cats! They were very relaxed with her and she sent great updates and photos everyday. Would highly recommend Anna!”

“Mariele was amazing with my cats - clearly had played with them and gave them attention. When we got home they seemed at such ease, not desperate for attention like they usually are. Thank you!”

“Lindsay was great with my cat! She was very communicative/responsive, which put me (an anxious pet parent) at ease while traveling. We came home to a happy boy! I would recommend Lindsay to anyone looking for pet care.”

“Gabriela was a wonderful sitter for my 10 year old cat! She hung out with him with genuine care and attentiveness, and paid perfect attention to the instructions I left. I came back to a very clean apartment and a happy cat :) We are eager to have her sit for us again!”

“Jessica was great! Communicative, caring, and kind! She did a wonderful job caring for Evelynne and was especially great managing when my cat was not feeling well. I would absolutely book Jessica again.”

“Amanda was very communicative and you can tell she really cares about the animals. She went out of her way to make sure my cat was cared for and shared tons of photos/videos to put me at ease.”

“Petros did everything I asked him to do for my cats. Amazing job 🙌🏽 He also did meet and greet beforehand to make sure that all goes well when I leave which is commendable. I will surely rebook him again.”

“Alice is phenomenal - she provides very detailed updates along with tons of great photos. We have two very shy cats but they really warmed right up to Alice and they, and my home, were clearly well cared for while we were away.”

“Sabrina was really responsive and sent a bunch of updates and pictures of our cat every day over a holiday break even though we booked last minute - we’re so grateful we found her! She was really great with our cat, we’ll definitely be using her again!”

“Anya was amazing with my super-shy cat and was understanding her standoffish behavior. She took it in stride and still made sure she was fed and had clean water. She was communicative, professional, prompt, and kept things tidy. Thanks, Anya!”

“Britni is fantastic!! We had a travel issue and ended up getting home from a trip much later than anticipated and she was able to come at the last minute and walk our dog Luna and feed her dinner and hang out with her for a few hours. Luna can be a little shy, but seems to have warmed up to Britni pretty quickly. Highly recommend her!”

“Giovanni provided exceptional care. They were incredibly thorough and patient with our two shy cats, going above and beyond to build their trust. The updates were not only informative but also engaging and entertaining, keeping us well-informed and giving us peace of mind while we were away. ❤️”

About: I am a dog owner myself and understand how important they are to the entire family. They are intelligent & loving & always deserve affection. I am ready to care for your dog. Dogs have the ability to make people incredibly happy and I hope to bring that same happiness to the dogs that I care for. I am responsible and attentive. I hope to meet your dog soon! I work from home during the week. I am a writer. On weekdays, I’m available at any time. The same goes for weekends as well. I always make sure the pets have enough water and that the space they’re in is secure before I leave. I like to leave them with their favorite toy.
“Vicky was awesome and went above and beyond. She went through the entire checklist we provided, and even did some additional cleaning. She also played with Momo and took lovely pics and videos. ❤️”

I cannot recommend Yirui highly enough! I needed someone to watch [Dog's Name] for 10 days, and [Walker's Name] went entirely above and beyond. They came by three times a day like clockwork and even took the extra time to bring [Dog's Name] to the local park to get their energy out. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my pup was getting fresh air, exercise, and genuine care while I was busy. If you need someone reliable, communicative, and truly great with dogs, hire Yirui!

Gabriela was absolutely wonderful! She took amazing care of my two dogs and cat, and they all loved her. She was extremely reliable, attentive, and clearly spent quality time with them—playing with them, giving them lots of attention, and making sure the dogs got their walks. I especially appreciated the pictures she sent throughout, which gave me such peace of mind knowing everyone was happy and well cared for. I would absolutely use Gabriela again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and dependable pet sitter!

Ziyi has been absolutely incredible, and I couldn’t be happier that she’s the one caring for my dog. Since he’s a rescue, he can get very anxious outside and needs someone who’s patient and understanding. Ziyi has been exactly that. She always takes the time to work with him at his own pace, and I can tell she genuinely cares about making him feel safe and comfortable. She also makes sure he gets plenty of playtime and mental stimulation during her visits. Every time I come home, he’s happy, relaxed, and content, which gives me so much peace of mind. I can’t recommend her enough!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
