While I do go into the city a few times each month for work, I’m usually home and make it a point to get outside for walks during my lunch break and I’d love a furry friend to join me. I provide care in my clients’ homes and do not offer boarding in my own home. I believe pets are often most comfortable in their familiar environment, where they can stick to their normal routines and feel secure. I will carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, etc. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I have watched over a 100 pound golden retriever to a 6 pound chihuahua! I truly love dogs and would love to meet yours! I have the world's friendliest cat living at my home if your pup spends the night with me and get at least 15,000 steps every day so would love to take your baby for a walk! About: I’ve been fostering cats for over 3 years (so far I’ve had a total of 10 cats in my care)! I’ve also babysat my friend’s dog several times (mainly overnight visits but also a couple drop-ins). My sister has a dog that I’ve also watched and spent a lot of time with. While I haven’t pulled the trigger yet and adopted a dog or cat (or both!), I truly enjoy spending time with these furry creatures. I treat your animal as if it’s my own, giving them my full attention and love I fully work from home in a 9 to 5 job with a lot of flexibility, so I’m able to step out for drop-in in your home or to give a lot of attention to your pet if boarding in my home. I own my condo so no worries about an overbearing landlord. I live on a quiet block with no neighbors above or next door to me, so overall a calm apartment to live in. Note that I am on the fourth floor, so three flights of stairs are involved. If your dog has trouble with stairs, my place may not be the best choice. I have around 800 square feet of space for your pet to explore and I also live within a 10 minute walk to 2 different dog parks.

About: I grew up with a Golden Retriever and my family now has a Bernese Mountain dog, who I primarily cared for during the pandemic. I've dog sat for neighbors before and in NYC, I have fostered 3 dogs of various sizes, all with super different personalities. I work remotely with a very flexible schedule, so I have ample time to help take care of your dog! I can be available whenever needed, or for last minute appointments. I live in an apartment with an elevator and live right near plenty of dog parks. If they like other dogs I'd be happy to let them play around!
