“Meg was available on very short notice to bring my very high energy dog for a walk. She provided updates and a bunch of pictures and it seemed like Moose had a blast with her. Will definitely reach out to Meg again next time we need a walker!”

About: I’m a dog-obsessed girl who truly loves every pup like they’re my own. Whether it’s a playful puppy or a senior snuggler, your dog will be cared for with the same love, attention, and joy I give my own dog. I’m passionate about dog rescue and have a huge soft spot for all breeds and personalities. Honestly, I see dogs before I see people on the street — they just light up my world! I believe dogs make life better, and it’s an honor to spend time with them. When your pup is with me, they’ll get more than just a walk — they’ll get companionship, tail wags, and the kind of love only a true dog person can give. I'm a fully remote worker and would love to take care of your pet! I have the flexibility to take your dog for a walk around the neighborhood and spend time with them while you're away from home. My dog is my world, and her happiness and comfort always come first — no exceptions. I would do anything for her, and I bring that same level of love and dedication to every dog I care for. Whether I’m walking, sitting, or just spending time with them, your pup will receive my full attention, affection, and care. Most importantly, their safety and well-being are always my top priorities.
About: Whether you’re looking for doggie play dates, a backyard for your pet to run around in, or just a chill place to hang for your little one, we have it all here! Without being asked, we will bath them when needed, clean their paws after walks, make chicken and rice for them when needed (ha), and give your pet the best vacation ever. I have 20 years of experience caring for dogs and will make sure your pet feels the most safe and at home - photos and videos will always be sent as frequently as you want. My job at LinkedIn is remote so I have a ton of flexibility to be with your dog all day :) unlimited walks, play dates, and your dog will never be alone We live in a large clean modern apartment with tons of amenities for pets. Safety is also a top priority for me (on top of making sure your pet feels part of the family).

About: I have two dogs and a cat back home in California. I have a lot of experience with house/pet sitting and dog walking as well as cat sitting! I am very great with all animals and will love your furry friend like my own! I work full time, with Mondays Fridays working from home and weekends fully off. I am super available to house/pet sit on weekends and I can pet sit at my apartment if needed. My work schedule during weekdays is 9am-5pm, so I am available for walks/drop ins to feed before and after work daily. I work from home Fridays so I have much more time for walks and playtime. Saturdays and Sundays I am fully available all day! I have a pet friendly apartment building and am able to walk your pet outside to go potty whenever is needed Friday-Sunday. If staying at your house, I can crate your dogs. I care for any pets like my own and love animals dearly.
“Scott was excellent in every way! Great communication before / during / after, went the extra mile during playtime, and I could tell my cat Patrick was comfortable around him immediately (which isn’t the case with every sitter). Would use Scott’s services again without hesitation.”

“We had a great experience with Roger. Roger was very attentive to Lily. So glad he was able to make time on a holiday weekend to watch her. I highly recommend Roger and just hope he'll be available for future drop in needs.”

“Carly is a great walker/sitter! She took care of Linus and he was super happy. She took pics of him on his walk and she touched base with us during her visit with him. Would reach out to her again. Recommended. Thank u!”

“Jocelyn is FANTASTIC I’m not exaggerating I felt so safe leaving my best furry friend in her care. She was extra communicative, wanting to know about my cat, and super thoughtful. I really will feel at ease going out of town next time and hopefully leaving my cat with Jocelyn’s care”

“Gabriela was a wonderful sitter for my 10 year old cat! She hung out with him with genuine care and attentiveness, and paid perfect attention to the instructions I left. I came back to a very clean apartment and a happy cat :) We are eager to have her sit for us again!”

About: Pet sitting was my first job when I was 15, and quickly became a lucrative side-hustle. I have years of experience doing both short-term and extended home stays and walking schedules. I specialize in puppies, small and big dogs, cats, multiple pets in one household, senior pets, transporting animals (crates, doctors appointments, etc.) and administering medication. I pride myself on my attention to detail making sure I am following customer's specific care instructions closely, as every good pet sitter knows that no two pets are the same. My goal is to not just have your pet fed and walked, but to make sure they are receiving the care, attention, and love they deserve-- just like their owner would give them. I know the summer can be busy with travel, work plans, and events, so if you're looking for a trustworthy and positive pet sitter/walker, look no further! Service in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Please contact if interested! My typical work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday-Thursday, but am available to check in on pets for an AM (before 8:00 am) feed and walk, and a PM (after 4:00 pm) feed and walk. On weekends, my hours are flexible and I am available to stay at the home with the pet or walk and play with it as whenever needed! I am willing to work with the customer's needs and schedule. While I am not currently offering boarding services, I do plan on being able to commute to customer's homes in Manhattan and Brooklyn, and bring my services to you! If needed/preferred, I can stay at customer's homes overnight with pets.
“Cindy came to the rescue on such short notice. Our dog was very comfortable with her and Cindy did a great job communicating with messages and pictures. We will definitely reach out to her again!”

About: I’ve been around dogs for most of my life. I grew up with my mini schnauzer, Chiky, who I had for 11 years and took care of from a young age. She was truly my best friend, and growing up with her taught me just how important dogs are in our lives, how much genuine, selfless love they give, and how much care and attention they need in return. I currently work a part-time job, which gives me flexibility during the week. I’m available 3 days on weekdays for walks, drop-ins, or sitting, and I’m fully available on weekends. I live in a top-floor apartment that’s very homey and cozy, with lots of natural light from skylights. While I don’t have a yard or balcony, I make sure dogs get the exercise and care they need through walks and playtime.
“I had a great experience with Anne-Charlotte and highly recommend her. She was fantastic with my puppy and followed all of the care guidelines I provided. She was also very communicative throughout the stay, sending updates and making me feel confident that my puppy was in good hands. What really stood out was how much she helped with potty training. It had taken me—and even other sitters—quite a while to make progress, but Anne-Charlotte was clearly experienced. Overall, Anne-Charlotte was responsible, attentive, and genuinely great with my dog. I would absolutely book with her again and recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.”

About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of animals my entire life. Back home in Ohio, I’ve had 7 cats, 2 dogs, a horse, a chinchilla, and a bearded dragon. I’ve dog sat for rescues and I’m also good with dogs that have walking/pulling troubles. Happy to feed some fish too if needed! I’ve just graduated and my schedule differs by the day, so I’m looking at getting back in to pet care! It’s been awhile because I’ve been finishing up my degree, but I’ve already done some pet sitting while in school, so I know that I am able to work with my time well and can manage any job/needs with clear communication now that I’m out of school. Long story short - I’ll make time for you and your pets! I’m sensitive to each pet’s individual needs. Each dog is different and unique, and I prioritize getting to know their personality. I also have experience calming pet anxiety and managing unpredictable rescues.
About: After helping to care for my family dog at age 14, I’ve cared for family and friend’s dogs for over 10 years. I am available Friday nights, Saturday and Sunday for walking/extended stays. I am very flexible and happy with last minute requests! I am a kind, clean and respectful house guest whose main priority is making your dog feel comfortable and happy at home. I love long walks and will make sure your pet is well attended to - playing, feeding, cuddles!
“Johnny was really great! I asked him last minute if he could watch my dog for two extra drop in visits and he was extremely accommodating. Boots seems to enjoy him very much and Johnny always gives such detailed descriptions of their time together! I will definitely be using Johnny again to watch my dog!”
About: I have had a dog since I was young. I have taken my dog and friends’ dogs on walks together throughout the years. I was known for taking care of my friends’ pets while they went on vacation. I checked in with their pets at their homes at least three times a day. There were occasions where I was also handling providing medication for the pet as it had different prescriptions during their time away. I just graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and moved. I have a lot of time over the weekends and some weekdays! I am always home to keep your dog company and love playing with dogs. I can sit outside with them or play with them indoors!

About: 🐾 Hello Pet parents, I love dogs but living in the city and traveling, I've never felt ready to own a dog full-time. However, my friends with dogs always considered me the go-to person to take care of their pets. One in particular whom I have taken care of for the past 2 years. Her name is Aby, she's an maltese shih tzu mix. I would keep her with me for weeks at a time when her parents were out of town for business. I really enjoy her companionship; taking her to the Tribeca Dog park, potty training her and playing games. As an entrepreneur working remotely, I got to spend a lot of time caring for her. My neighbors fell in love with her too. As an entrepreneur working remotely, I got to spend a lot of time caring for pets for friends and neighbors. They trust me to provide the best possible care. Safety is my main priority and concern. I have ensured that my apartment is the most welcoming and safe environment for any pet. Pets should feel at home.
New York dog parents share their Rover experiences
Wow, talk about going above and beyond! We are so grateful for Isaac caring for our two pups while we were out of town. He provided thorough updates in each check-in, amazing photos, and is just an overall responsive and caring person. We can’t wait to have him watch our pups again. He is trusted, kind, and will treat your fur babies like one of his own. Thank you, Isaac!!!
Yirui was so helpful and flexible. We are first time puppy parents and we are in a situation where Chutney can’t go to daycare until he finishes his shots. It gave us so much comfort with Yirui stopping by twice a day. She also gave us so many helpful tips for the puppy. He’s adjusting well and loves Yirui’s visit times!

Liz was absolutely wonderful! From our first meeting, I felt comfortable leaving my dog in her care. My shepherd can be reactive on walks at times, so finding someone I trust with him is incredibly important, and Liz exceeded all my expectations. She was reliable, communicative, and sent thoughtful updates and photos after every visit, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that she genuinely cared about my dog and took the time to make sure he was comfortable and well cared for. Would not hesitate to book Liz again. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, dependable, and caring sitter!

Allison has been an absolute blessing, not just for me, but also for my dog, Kobe. Kobe is a rescue dog with a lot of behavioral challenges, and Alison has shown him so much patience, kindness, and care. She has truly taken the time to understand him and help him slowly come out of his shell. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing he’s with someone who genuinely cares about his wellbeing and treats him with so much compassion. I couldn’t recommend her more highly.
