About: Dogs are a part of the family and they deserve the best life possible through all the sniffaries and enrichment their hearts desire. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and I currently have an aussiedoodle with special dietary and grooming needs and foster pups through MuddyPaws NYC. I only take 1 dog at a time (in addition to my own) so your pup gets the attention they need. While I’m not a professional dog trainer, I strongly believe in constantly and consistently training dogs through positive reinforcement only. I do not go to dog parks or let dogs off leash for their own safety and to avoid reactivity. I’m well versed in dog body language and believe mental enrichment activities along with physical exercise leads to a happier pup. I love taking pups to any place that is dog-friendly because they too deserve to explore the world and live their best lives possible. I am currently a full time stay-at-home dog mom and am flexible to care for your dog’s needs and can take them out for regular walks. It would be helpful to have a general overview of your pup’s personality and I’ll follow any instructions you have. To avoid reactivity and for safety, I do not take dogs into dog parks or let them off leash ever. I have a patio for smaller dogs (20lbs or less) to go outside but larger dogs are not allowed since it is 5 stories up and has a 4ft wall on 2 sides. I will care for your dog like they’re my own since they deserve the world.
“Tatyana was great with my cat—flexible with her schedule and really went the extra mile, even putting away cat food meal service delivery in the freezer. She kept me updated with plenty of photos and even a video, which I really appreciated. Very responsive and easy to communicate with. I’ll definitely hire her again next time.”

“Monique was so compassionate and hooked a sit up for me last minute. She took great care of my cat and is such a lovely person, cannot recommend her enough.”

“Courtney did a great job with Raven and Roman during her drop-in visit! I was especially happy that Raven felt comfortable enough to come out and meet her, since she’s usually shy with new people. It was also nice to know that Raven got to enjoy her meal without Roman stealing it. Courtney was reliable, caring, and gave me peace of mind while I was away. I’d happily book with her again!”

“Monica was incredibly attentive to my cat’s needs and had great communication throughout my booking. She asked great questions when setting up the visits to ensure she could provide the best care. She provided very detailed updates and lots of precious photos during the visits. I felt completely comfortable leaving my kitty with her and will absolutely do so again!”

“Juan was great during our drop in visit and even got my pretty shy cat to come out for some time :) He responded super timely and was responsive when setting up the booking”

“This is our second time with Victor and he’s great. He’s reliable and responsive as well as detail oriented and kind. He cares about your pets emotional well being and is patient to befriend them alongside of all the normal responsibilities of pet sitting. It’s hard to find people that understand and respect animals individual autonomy and we know our girl is in good hands with him.”

About: Hi, I’m Violet! I’ve been around dogs my whole life and live with my own energetic husky, so I truly understand how much love and care our furry friends need. I’m currently between jobs, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to your pup — whether that’s long walks, playtime, or just keeping them company throughout the day. I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds and personalities and am happy to follow any routine, diet, or medication schedule. You can count on me for lots of attention, patience, and regular photo updates while you’re away. I live in a pet-friendly apartment near Central Park — perfect for fun walks and outdoor adventures. I’m available most weekdays and weekends for boarding or walks, and I’d love to meet your four-legged friend! I’m currently between jobs, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to your pup — whether that’s long walks, playtime, or just keeping them company throughout the day. About: Hi! I am a premed neurology researcher on the Upper West Side looking to support my application fees. I currently have a medium-sized dog named Alfie who I take on long walks everyday in Central Park (only 2 blocks from my apartment). I grew up with pomeranians and fostering large and small dogs so I am familiar with different temperaments and sizes. I am currently waiting to start my new position so I am available to care for your furry family member at your convenience. Once I begin my role, I only work three days a week so I can still walk your dog then as well. I have a 40-lb Keeshond who is very friendly and loves to play. If you are looking for boarding, my dog will be in the apartment as well but I can make sure they get acclimated.
“Alice and Ethan are a lovely couple, and they took wonderful care of my very social cat Moka. I booked sessions for an hour, which is uncommon for cat care. But my cat is not food motivated, and enjoys company—but she’s still a judgy cat. They made Moka feel immediately comfortable, and by day 2 or 3 she had become a lap cat. They arrived on time for every session, were communicative and transparent, also very pleasant, and kind. Thanks to Alice and Ethan, this was the first time that I have returned from a trip to find Moka in the same happy mood I left her in. Typically she will show me in her own way that I never should have left (if you know, you know). She was a very content cat. I will most certainly reach out again!”

“Emily was fantastic! She followed all instructions and even went above and beyond by bringing in some big packages that arrived and suggesting to turn on the a/c to make the room more comfortable for my pet. Couldn’t be happier.”

Katherine did an amazing job taking care of my dog while I was away. She kept me updated every day with messages and pictures, made sure he got all of his medications, and always let me know how he was doing. It gave me great peace of mind, and when I got home, my dog was happy and clearly well cared for. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring pet sitter!
Sungmin did a drop-in visit for my puppy and she was amazing! She sent me videos and photos afterwards and provided a short summary of what tricks they worked on. It’s clear that my puppy loved playing with her. She was also very respectful of my home and I’m glad I found someone I can trust! Already booked her again for this week!

We cannot say enough good things about Emily! She took such amazing care of Whiskey during her drop-in visits. Her communication was top-notch and super responsive from start to finish. She made the entire process completely stress-free. Whiskey was so well cared for, and we are already hoping to book her again next time!

Kaosi was amazing and we absolutely recommend her and plan to book again. Sebastian loved her and she was very attentive to his needs and updating my family on how he was doing each day. We felt comfortable with her and have no complaints, she followed all of our instructions and was very pleasant during the meet and greet. Book Kaosi!

Huge shoutout to Loretto for taking such amazing care of Amara! He was so attentive, dependable, and awesome with communication while I was away. Amara absolutely loved him, and it gave me total peace of mind seeing how well cared for she was. 10/10 would recommend him to anyone!

May has been a repeat for us because of her kindness with Courage. She knew how anxious he was and came BEFORE the booking to ensure he was warmed up to her. We didn’t ask for that and she went above and beyond. On top, she’s always consistent with her communication and shows such care for our Courage. Will always use May!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Manhattan with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
