I’ve been taking care of dogs, and cats, of every size since I was 10 years old. Training puppies is a skill of mine too! I taught my childhood dog how to sit, lay down, and give paw! I live wicked close to Carl Shurz and a short walk from Central Park. I’m a water resources scientist for NYC Parks, so I’m really excited for the opportunity to have a furry friend experience the parks the way I do!

Maddie was great - reliable and conscientious! She arrived a few minutes early to greet Jack before I had to leave. She kept my young dog company and played with him until he was ready for a rest. She is coming back next week for another visit. I would definitely recommend her to look after your pet.

Maddie is such an animal whisperer! She is very responsible and responds to texts promptly. She has a big heart for furry friends and is a joy to coordinate with. I always feel safe leaving my pet with Maddie, even if it's for over a week! She's detail-oriented and can follow instructions very well, which can be difficult when I have a pet that needs specific dietary restrictions!

Schedule
I’m a city employee who works from home 3 times a week, so my time is super flexible, especially as I head into the fall! I am available for boarding during the weekends and for extended periods of time if you’re on vacation! Lastly, I’m very active so I would love to take your pet out for walks/ runs/ hikes, etc!

I live in an elevator building and super close to Central Park! This is a perfect environment for dogs of all sizes and ages. There are no other pets in the house.
A typical day
I love to train dogs! It’s very satisfying to see them learn new tricks. I also love going for walks and runs in Central Park or on the East River Esplanade, and I would love to do this with a furry friend!
