“Ryan was so kind and attentive to Poppy!! I had issues with my travel and ended up being away longer than I was supposed to and he cooked food for her!”

“Euitae was the best dog sitter I’ve ever had. Euitae was responsive and so so attentive and caring for my senior guy, Jack, taking Jack for lots of walks and adventures in the park, and even a dog café where Jack got to make new friends. I’m so incredibly grateful for Euitae and 1000% recommend him as a sitter! I can’t wait to call Euitae again, Jack had an AMAZING time.”

“Bridget took great care of my Shih Tzu Oliver. Drop off/pick up were seamless and she’s always quick to respond with an update and picture whenever I check in.”

“Thank you do much Melanie! You leot me updater everyday in regards to my sweet Milo and also sent me pictures of him. You took such great care of him and I will definitely be needing you again for December, I hope you’re available for my sweet boy! Thank you again☺️☺️”

“I have a sweet but anxious girl and she was very happy staying with Janise- I could tell by the videos she keep me updated with that she was happy and trusted her - I would highly recommend her and would rebook again!”

“We unfortunately had to leave our new 2.5mo puppy for ten days only a couple weeks after adopting her. She was in the middle of housetraining which made us nervous but Adam was fantastic with her. He helped reinforce housetraining with Rey, gave her lots of attention, took her on good long walks, and kept us updated the whole week. Would definitely recommend Adam, especially for high energy puppies like ours.”

“Anton was very kind and accommodating of my anxious dog. It was the very first boarding experience for my dog, Reiki, and he was very nervous when we arrived at Anton's place. I was worried that he would stay restless, but I was totally wrong! Anton sent me photos and updates, which made me feel safe asking more of his service again. Reiki was able to calm down within hours under his care, and very much enjoyed spending time with him 😄.”

“Eva was kind, flexible, and communicative. She clearly loves dogs and took good care of Wallace. But appreciated her accommodating my schedule around the busy holidays.”

“Wei Han was wonderful! My pup had such a great time and she even gave her a t-shirt to go home in. I could really enjoy my vacation knowing Sadie was in good hands. I would definitely use her again!”

“Yuan is the best EVER. She helped when I urgently needed to be with family. Not only did she help me during a quick turn around, Yuan was flexible as my timing changed, steady, and calm. Most, most importantly, my pup has never been so calm and unphased when I picked her up and she’s a mini Aussie/Border Collie (!!). Fantastic communication, great exercise, and great care and concern all around. I’m afraid Yuan will be tough to book in the future - she’s that amazing. ;) Thank you, Yuan!”

“Kiersten and Casey did an amazing job with Nyla. She settled in quickly with no issues, which can be a challenge at times with Nyla…,plus I got a few beautiful portraits of Nyla. Talented for sure, you can see their love for dogs. I will definitely be rebooking!”

“Kecia was so wonderful with our dog, she is very caring, patient, and loving! Throughout the few days our dog stayed with her, she cared for our dog as if she was one of her own. Kecia is very communicative, provided updates and pictures and seemed to really understand our dog's quirks and needs. We know she is good hands with Kecia. Highly recommend Kecia!”

“Maisha was an amazing sitter for my pup! She restored my trust in the Rover platform after a couple of not so pleasant experiences…and he smelled amazing at pickup! I received morning and nightly updates with pics. Will definitely book again!!”

“Anky was very communicative throughout the whole stay, taking time to send multiple updates each day. She also took my pup to the dog park almost every day! My dog had a blast staying at Anky’s and I’d highly recommend booking with her”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Manhattan
Wei was wonderful with our 14-month-old puppy! He kept us updated throughout the stay with videos and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. He took our pup to the dog park, and his own dog spent lots of time playing with ours, which was such a bonus. It was clear our puppy got plenty of exercise, attention, and socialization. Our dog came home happy, relaxed, and well cared for. Wei was communicative, reliable, and clearly has a great way with dogs. We really appreciated the thoughtful updates and could tell our pup had an amazing time. We'd absolutely book with Wei again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter!

Ethel watched Max for a 3-day stay and I really appreciated her updates! It looked like he had a lot of fun and was well taken care of. He was tuckered out and not anxious when I picked him up, which is a good sign. Lots of photos and pictures. I would definitely recommend her. She was also extremely flexible and positive even though my travel plans got delayed.

Melanie watched our dog for a week, and we can't thank her enough. We're very anxious dog owners and had actually never left our dog with a rover sitter before, always relying on friends and family. From the moment I met Melanie, it was obvious how much she genuinely loves and cares for animals. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving, trustworthy, and reliable dog sitter.

Brianna was amazing. She took my pup on several city adventures to parks and the riverside and kept me updated along the way. She administered my dogs medication without issue. Her communication is excellent and she sent me lots of photos of my dog. I would trust her with my dog any day and look forward to booking with her in the future. She is without a doubt the best dog sitter I have booked on Rover.

Seung is truly my favorite sitter by far! The only reason I’ve ever not use him is if he’s unavailable bc he is seriously the best! He always takes care of my Charles and updates me with so many cute photos and videos. He takes him on fun adventures to the park and car rides and Seung has his little pup Latte so my Charlie always has a friend when he’s there. 🥹💗

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
