“Jessica is great! My dog Kooky stayed at her place for 2 days, and I can see that she truly cares about Kooky. I was updated frequently how Kooky is doing, with lots of pictures and videos. I can see Kooky had a great time there and I highly recommend Jessica.”

“I can’t recommend them enough! We were nervous to leave Elsa with anyone, but they were wonderful and treated her like family. The frequent updates kept our minds completely at ease. They were absolutely wonderful and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.”

“I won the lottery with Ayusha and Will. They gave so much love to my dog Florencia and kept me updated with pictures throughout her stay. It was a relief to know she was safe, happy and getting the exercise and attention she needs :) Highly recommend!”

“Chi-Wing agreed to watch Loki after a last-minute request. He was punctual and sent regular pictures and videos, and he and his girlfriend were both very accomodating to Loki. If I wasn't moving out of town, I would absolutely book with Chi-Wing again!”

“Paulette has been taking care of our dog Pip for many years on more occasions than I can count! Pip is 14 now, absolutely loves Paulette and going to her place is like going on vacation, she is always excited to see her! And now that Pip is older and with a few more quirks, we feel extra comfortable boarding her with Paulette since she knows her so well. It really gives us peace of mind to know she is in excellent hands and well taken care for. We often check her availability before making travel plans to make sure she is available!!! Thank you Paulette!”

“Sabrina is incredible and took special care of my dog. She keeps in constant contact with photos and videos. This was my first time using Rover and I will definitely book with Sabrina again. 10/10 fully recommend her!”

“I’m anxious without my dog and Michael made sure both my dog and I felt reassured my dog was living his best life. Michael updated me with photos everyday and I really appreciated that. Also, he was super cooperative with schedules and dog routines. Lastly, I was very impressed by the feedback/report on overall performance of my dog over the two week stay that he gave when I went to pick up my puppy. I knew a 9 month old portipoo could be a ball of problem but Michael handled it like a pro.👍👍👍 I would definitely come back”

“Chloe and her husband were once again amazing with our dog! While we were away for the weekend we received tons of pictures of George looking happy and settled while at their place :)”

“I would highly recommend Kate and Michael as dog sitters. The communication both in drop off and pickup was terrific, and I really appreciated how Kate made an effort to get to know Brady even before his stay to make sure that the two of them would be comfortable together. We got daily updates with photos from which it was clear that Brady had settled in. At pickup it was obvious that she and Brady had become fast friends, and he was in great spirits when he came home. Thanks Kate!”

“Chase had a great first Rover experience with Sal... they were very responsive and flexible with pick up/drop off times. You can tell they are experienced dog sitters! We will be back ?”

“Melanie & Katie were amazing! They were so good with Chloe, sent tons of photos and updates, took her on really good walks and generally doted on her. My flight was also delayed coming back from my work trip, and they were so accommodating to watch Chloe until I was able to navigate the delays.”

“This is a long overdue review for Samantha. She has watched our dog, Wilhelmina probably 4-5 times now and I think the best way I can explain how I know Willy is in the BEST hands when we have to be gone is that on our last drop off she saw Sam and pulled and pulled for her. When I left the building she never looked back. So I know that she enjoys her time and is well cared for and that makes leaving her a litttttle bit easier. Sam is incredibly responsive, kind and overall I believe someone who really loves dogs - which is exactly what we can hope for when entrusting someone else to care for our fur babies. 11/10 - would recommend ... and truth be told is she ends up booked when I need her, I will likely regret this review (just kidding of course)!”

“Jason is one of the best out there. He showered our boy with love and care and we immediately felt comfortable with him. He also shared photos and updates. We can't wait for our boy Datu to bond with him again.”

About: I've been around dogs my entire life and have always loved caring for animals. Over the past two years, I've dog and cat sat for friends and neighbors, whether that meant providing overnight care in my apartment or stopping by for walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention. I've cared for both cats and dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, so I'm comfortable adapting to each pet's unique needs. One experience that's especially meaningful to me is participating in shelter skip days, where I take a shelter dog out for the day to give them a break from the kennel and spoil them with plenty of love. I know how important it is for pet owners to feel confident that their furry family members are in good hands, and I treat every pet I care for with the same patience, affection, and attention I'd give my own. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I'm currently a master's student at Teachers College, Columbia University. My classes are Monday through Thursday, and only occupy a few hours each day. I will have Thursday afternoons through Sunday evenings available each week. During my available times, I'm flexible and can dedicate plenty of time to walks, playtime, cuddles, and sticking to your pet's normal routine. I live on the Upper West Side, just a block away from Riverside Park and also close to Central Park, which gives me access to beautiful, safe spaces for walks and outdoor time. For walks, I prioritize safe routes, keep dogs securely leashed, and tailor each outing to their energy level and needs. For overnight stays, my apartment is clean, calm, and pet friendly. I only care for a limited number of pets at a time so I can give each one the individualized attention they deserve.
“Allie was awesome! We initially met at a cafe and she had the best energy — we had to book her! She was great with Benji and sent pictures throughout our trip, as requested :) 10/10 and will definitely rebook again! Thank you, Allie! You rock!”

“Mariia has been incredibly helpful, caring and loving for our baby Rome. She was very agile and flexible with many changes in our trip , and took full care of our dog , kept us posted with everything and had a very fast response every time we asked about him. Mariia is not just a rover she is family to us.”

“Stefan has boarded my 11 year old labradoodle several times. He stays in communication and sends pictures regularly. Paris seems comfortable with him each time she sees him. Stefan has been wonderful to often take her last minute. Thank you!”

“I'm a repeat fan of Leslie. Leslie cared for my lifetime campanion who crossed the rainbow a year ago and recently cared for my newly adopted pup. They are easy to communicate with, and have come through for me with my last minute hectic schedule. Always sending many picture updates. Highly recommend!”

Ruby had a wonderful stay with Rikki! She took such great care of Ruby and gave us regular updates throughout the weekend, which made it so much easier to relax while we were away. It was clear from the photos and messages that she genuinely cared about Ruby and made sure she was happy and comfortable. We would absolutely book with Rikki again and highly recommend her!

I cannot recommend Gabriela enough for both evening and overnight stays! She provides a safe and super loving home for Teddy when we’re busy, handles all her little idiosyncrasies with grace and is super responsive & flexible. Honestly a dream, no notes. Teddy didn’t want to leave her home after a 5 day trip! I think it’s safe to say we’re going to be lifers with her..!

Alex was fantastic with my dog Mickey! Mickey can be a bit shy and scared at times but Alex made him feel so comfortable in her home. She great had communication, very reliable and very understanding to Mickey’s needs I highly recommend her, and I’ll definitely be booking her again. Thank you so much Alex!

Adrienne was WONDERFUL. She is so sweet and Tinker was obsessed with her. He was smiling ear to ear in every picture update and was beaming when I picked him up. She was also so accommodating when my flights were delayed and travel got wonky. I will absolutely be bringing Tinker back to Adrienne! We are so happy

Amanda was AMAZING! We left Poppy with her for two weeks and are so glad we trusted Amanda with her care. She was SO well taken care of, clearly had fun, and came back to us in perfect shape! Poppy has allergies and had no flare-ups or anything while we were gone, which was amazing and means Amanda followed all of the unique care instructions given to a T. Poppy went on plenty of walks and got some great exercise and social time. Amanda also sent us some wonderful photos throughout our trip, and was super responsive and reassuring whenever we were missing her. I would absolutely recommend Amanda to watch your pup!!!

Jessica and her boyfriend were so friendly and very responsive throughout the whole boarding for my dog and my brother's dog. She sent daily photos and thoughtful updates, which was much appreciated. Communicating with them was such a breeze and I'm thankful they were both flexible and accommodating when I had a delay on my flight back home!

We can’t thank Chi-Wing enough for how wonderful he has been to our family. When our late flight home got canceled, he was so accommodating and was willing to care for our dog Hudson until we could get a flight home the next day. Hudson always has the BEST time staying there and we know she always feels right at home.

Sarah was absolutely wonderful watching my dog; very friendly and kind, responsive, flexible with timing, sent lots of photos, and my dog seemed to absolutely love her. She kept him active and also gave him lots of cuddle time. She was a great sitter; I will definitely plan to use her again and highly recommend her.

Absolutely amazing sitters! Extremely professional and considerate. I was nervous to leave my dog with new people but they offered a meet and greet days in advanced, had me complete a questionnaire on his feeding, preferences, quirks etc. And provided me with daily updates including pictures. I was able to travel at ease knowing he was in safe hands. Thank you so much for taking such great care of Snickers.
