Bruno is getting on in years, so handing him over to someone new always comes with a little anxiety — but Anikó put that to rest immediately. She brushed him, trimmed his nails, and when an unexpected health issue came up, handled it swiftly and kept us fully in the loop. That kind of calm good judgment is hard to find. She sent beautiful photos and videos throughout (a few are now permanent additions to Bruno’s collection), and I came home to little gifts like eye masks waiting for me. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, and had 4 dogs at a time for most of that. I’m experienced with senior dogs as well as puppy training. I train dogs with maximum positive reinforcement. My dog/assistant grew up with elderly yorkies and is eager to lend a paw. I’m a freelance motion designer, part time e-learning professor and I work from home on my own schedule. My dog goes on at least 5 walks per day, with poops after meals. Doggy breakfast is at 7:30, dinner at 5:30. For boarded dogs my building is very dog friendly with a fenced courtyard. About: Well to begin with, I have experience walking numerous dogs since the day I was born. My love for animals in general is immense, contributing to the positive well being of animals is my passion and being able to focus that into a career is something I would have never imagined simply by making sure dogs go when they need too. It all began by simply watching over dogs, and then it lead into feeding them and eventually I took it upon myself to walk them. The first dogs I took care of was a chunky miniature pincher and a 70 lbs pit bull terrier, I am not prejudice towards animals specifically dogs since they are in my field and I have years of experience with different breeds of all sorts. As I am a new LLC on the rise I am in the midst of obtaining my ARC certifications for the health and general knowledge of animals, considering on a professional level I take this very accordingly and not enough dog walking companies supply the same for their walkers. Being trustworthy, reliable, respectable, caring and cautious are few of the many traits I carry and endorse for my business in which I believe are critical in the dog walking business.Every dog is unique, just like a person I would not want to disrespect their space and have them catch a bad vibe from me. I like to make sure I build comfort with the dogs I work with considering not many may be comfortable with letting someone unfamiliar walk them, my specialty. Walking dogs for me personally is never something I like to do in a haste, I enjoy in executing my job correctly and efficiently. About: Your dog or cat will have customized care based on his/her personality and needs. I typically take only one dog at a time for daycare, with additional play dates. I love puppies, who have my undivided attention when they are with me. We have tons of fun every day and work on training as needed. I’m experienced as a sitter for smaller breeds including Yorkies, poodles, cocker spaniels, mini Aussies, pugs, Boston terriers, mini schnauzers, corgis, and Havanese; I understand the sensitive feelings of certain small dogs and of senior dogs! It will be important for me to meet you and your dog to learn about the ways you communicate and about the specific likes and dislikes that both of you have. I have experience as a foster home for abandoned dogs. I am a volunteer for Guide Dogs. I owned Labrador retrievers for 25 years. I am experienced with dogs who have separation anxiety. I’m sorry but I can no longer accept young dogs over 30 pounds I’m available for walks along the waterfront and for daycare, boarding, puppy training and play most weekdays and any weekend. I teach English online two times a week and otherwise your pet will have my full and undivided attention. There are no other pets or family members in my home. I ask for a schedule along with feeding, socialization and exercise instructions. I’m cautious about interactions with other dogs until I get to know your dog better. I teach online several hours a week. All other times I’m available to spend time with your pet. I only take one dog at a time. Some dogs enjoy sitting next to me as I teach. Please note however daycare is 9 hours max anything over this time I do charge an additional 10$ per hour I usually walk dogs along the waterfront and play fetch or games with them in my condo. There is a dog park nearby if that’s appropriate.
