“We'd give 10 stars if that was an option. Alitha did everything we discussed and more. She took care of our Golden Retriever and cat and stayed in our home with them for 10 days. Her daily texts and pictures showed that the animals were happy and well-cared for. It was obvious that she was not only caring for them, but really spending time with them as her messages were always specific to the personalities and actions of each of them. Our dog takes medication daily, and we had complete confidence in Alitha. When we returned, the animals were calm and happy and the house was spotless. We plan to rebook Alitha again and again. The highest of recommendations to this fabulous, sweet, intelligent sitter.”

About: Hi! I’m Vanessa, a lifelong dog lover. Since I can’t have a pup of my own right now, I’d be honored to take care of yours, and trust me, your fur baby would be in loving hands. A little about me, caring for dogs has become more than just a passion, it’s truly a source of joy and therapy for me. Being around dogs brings me so much peace and happiness, and I pour all that love and energy into every pet I care for. I used to have my own dog, Toddy, a sweet boy I trained myself (he even knew how to play dead!). He spent his final years with my mom (his grandma!) in Venezuela, and sadly, he passed away in March 2024. Not being able to say goodbye to him has been one of the most heartbreaking experiences of my life as an immigrant. But his memory lives on in everything I do, and he’s the reason I connect so deeply with the pets I care for. I love going on walks, playing fetch, or simply sharing quiet time with dogs. I truly believe pets are one of life’s greatest blessings — most days, I think we don’t even deserve them. If you’d like to know more about me, feel free to ask. Woof-woof, Vanessa I’m home full time Thursday- Mondays, and if I do need to step out for errands, it’s never for more than 2–4 hours. I live in a calm, peaceful neighborhood that’s perfect for walks, sniff breaks, and relaxing naps. I care for pets with lots of love, patience, and attention to their individual needs and routines. In my home, I make sure they feel safe and comfortable from the moment they arrive. I follow their feeding schedules, administer any medications if needed, and give them plenty of playtime, walks, and cuddles.

“Arin was so sweet and attentive to Aloo while I was away for a 4 day trip. She stayed in my home and kept it tidy and was very communicative with updates on Aloo throughout the sitting. Arin has experience with and training rescue dogs as well which was so reassuring.
