About: While I’ve never had a cat or dog (parental allergies), I’ve always loved them! My neighbors had cats and dogs so growing up I spent a lot of time around them and helped take care of them. I especially enjoy long walks :) I work from home two days a week so my schedule is pretty flexible. I would love to spend my free time with furry friends! About: I’ve grown up with/cared for all kinds of animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and more. I have professionally cared for both senior dogs and puppies, including basic training. These were dogs of all breeds, sizes and backgrounds. I currently have two rescue cats and would love to care for some doggies in my free time, as I can’t have them in my apartment! I am currently working part time in the city, and have a very free/flexible schedule. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my free time looking after your fur babies! If caring for your pet in your personal home, I will keep their routine as close to normal as possible to ensure they feel comfortable. I know animals can get anxiety with sudden change, so I would ensure they feel safe. I am great at giving constant updates/photos, so you can see how your fur baby is doing! I love cuddles if they are comfortable with this, and play time to keep them stimulated.

He arrived early during the meet and greet and the day of the booked service. According to his previous reviews this must be a consistent thing. During the meet and greet, Blaze took to Jorge immediately. This shocked me because my dog has a lot of personality along with the tendency to ignore people; therefore, I knew this was going to be a good match. While I was there, all Blaze wanted to do was play and jump all over Jorge. I assume they must of had a good time because by the time I got back, Blaze was exhausted.”

Vanessa was amazing! My wife and I wanted to go out of town on short notice, and looking on Rover for someone we found Vanessa. She made us feel confident from the moment we met her that our dogs would be in good hands. She followed every instruction we had to the letter, and made sure to send us lots of pictures and updates on our dogs. She was even able to walk all three of them at one time, which is an impressive feat considering they are all over 70 pounds. We will definitely be using Vanessa again, and if you're looking for someone to watch your dogs we couldn't recommend Vanessa more!
Alexandra was amazing with our dog, Otis. She provided constant care for him, and gave us many updates while we were away. She was also very responsive, answering me immediately whenever I reached out. She was able to bond with Otis very quickly. She worked with him, gave him patience, and easily adapted to changes in his routine/diet. We came home to a happy and exceptionally cared for dog. :) We would work with Alexandra again in a heartbeat!
I can't recommend Julia enough! I always struggle leaving my cat Oliver and he can get sad and anxious when I'm away, but I came home this weekend to find him as peaceful and happy as could be, which doesn't always happen. You know when you leave your dog for the weekend and she smells BETTER when you pick her up?! My dog so clearly had a great time with Mary (and her pup Graham!). Mary kept me updated throughout with such great photos, was communicative when needed, and is clearly just so great with dogs. My dog is… big and easily excited, so I worry about walkers/sitters keeping everyone safe on walks and dealing with the pulling. Mary had no issue with this, mostly because I think she’s such a calming and confident presence for my pup. Thanks Mary!!
Julia was great! Super responsive and on time. This was a bit of a last-minute ask and she was totally flexible about making it work, which we really appreciated. Our dog was a little unsure of her at first (as she can be with new people) but warmed right up and was clearly well taken care of for an overnight stay. We highly recommend Julia and will be using her services again.
Marine did a wonderful job house sitting for us and taking care of Nuni for 4 days! Nuni usually takes a while to warm up to new people, but Marine made that connection with him in record time. She had exactly the right demeanor to make him comfortable enough to go on walks with her, which isn't always easy with him. I know Nuni gets pretty anxious when we're away, but I felt completely confident that Marine would keep him as comfortable and cared for as possible — and she did. She was also super communicative throughout the stay and took great care of our apartment as a respectful house sitter. We'd trust her again in a heartbeat with both our pup and our home.
