About: I’ve always been surrounded by dogs, whether it’s my sister’s or my cousin’s dog. As a nurse, I already have the compassion and caretaking qualities. If you’ll entrust your best friend to me, I’ll give them plenty of love and care. I’m a night shift nurse working three shifts a week. I’m always trying to take advantage of the daytime to catch some sun- hopefully your dog will join me in those times on a sweet stroll. A firm believer in touching grass, I’d dedicate my stretches of days off when I’m not working to take your furfriend out for some much deserved playtime! I live in an apartment that is dog friendly. My home has plenty of space albeit a one-bedroom unit. There is a security system built into place as well.

About: Hi pet lovers! Just wanted to put a couple of things up front...first as far as dog walking is concerned I'm getting a lot of requests from all over Jersey and I don't have a car so unfortunately I've had to turn most of them down. So please note I'm only looking for dog walking jobs in Edgewater or elsewhere if you are open to paying for my uber there & back (I actually do have one client who does that, that's the only reason I'm including it). The second thing is regarding housesitting...please note that if you are requesting housesitting, I'm happy to if I'm available but I need to be able to bring my 1 1/2 yr old micro mini labradoodle, Cole. I already have it in my profile below but I just got a request from someone who said no because I have a dog so I'm writing it very first thing in case people don't read any further. And speaking of Cole, he LOVES other dogs. So if you are interested in having me host your dog for doggy day care or a longer stay, I just would need to know your dog gets along with other dogs as well. Obviously it's harder for me to do house sitting now but I'm leaving it up on the chance I have someone who wouldn't mind me bringing him. Anyway, Cole and I both look forward to meeting your pups (or cats for that matter, He's also great with cats, he's super loving to all and doesn't have a mean bone in his body). And on that note... I adore dogs and cats (not to mention hedgehogs, shout out to Choggie and Jefferson, may they RIP.). And to anyone concerned about there being any sort of negative interaction between your pet and my hedgehog, please don't worry. Hedgehogs are nocturnal so he stays in his cage sleeping all day. So far it has not been an issue at all with any of the dogs I've boarded (including one VERY curious & energetic puppy lol).

“I just left my 2 y/o Yorkie boy for a couple of hours as an introductory experience, and he was fine. Apparently had no problems with the other dogs there. Michael and his wife were very responsive and accommodating. I plan to use them again for an over night stay unless I find someone closer to me, and I recommend them.”

We scheduled a meet and greet with our pup Henny which went well and from that point we knew Henny was in good hands. Henny loved Vanessa right away. We encountered 0 issues with Vanessa and booking through Rover. We received many lovely updates and pictures of Henny throughout the stay. Vanessa was also very prompt with replies. All in all our pup was a bit of a handful and needs to get more accustomed to staying in the care of someone else as this was his first time being away from us. “Lal, Matt & Hank were great! My doggy boys stayed with them for a week while we were travelling out of state and they looked like they were having a nice little doggy vacation themselves with their new found friends. Lal would keep us updated with how our boys were doing by also posting pictures and videos along with the texts and e-mails. Lal really took the time to get to know the boys well specially during their meet and greet. Plus the fact that their LabraDoodle, Hank got along very well with the boys made me really feel at ease. I would definitely pick them again for our upcoming travels. So happy to know that my doggy boys were in good hands while we were away. Highly recommended.”

For these large dogs consider “In House Drop-In Visits” * Cannot watch dogs with Separation Anxiety. * Dogs over the age of 1 must be neutered/spayed I’ve cared for dogs, cats, rabbits & 2 tortoises for years. An active volunteer of cat feral feeds & animal charities. My dog is 5 years old, he’s friendly, energetic, trained & weighs 65lbs. Stevie gets along with different dog sizes & cats. Please Note: - I can only have Hypoallergenic or low Hypoallergenic breeds. - Due to meetings throughout the day, cannot have a constant barker. - Outdoor potty trained only. - Let’s meet to ensure our dogs get along. - Stevie loves to play and I enjoy long walks with them, time in the park & mental stimulation so your dog will get allot of activity. Reach out & let’s see how I could assist your family. Our walks/outings are at 8am, 3pm & 9pm. Weekends I will be less available for Day Care. Overnights can be arranged for your vacation needs.
