“She was punctual, friendly, and clearly has a great way with dogs. Pixie came back happy and well-exercised. I really appreciate the great communication and care. Highly recommend!”

“Susana was great. Showed up to my house, walked Gopher, left a Rover report card with photos and details about whether Gopher pee'd or pooped on the walk. I got to go out for the night without worrying, and I returned home and Gophie was asleep in her bed, happy as can be. : ) I would recommend Susana to anyone looking for a dog walker in the area. In fact, after getting her updates while I was out, I recommended her to two people I was hanging out with. Thanks, Susana!”

“Leslie walked my dog Miley everyday for a week. He was responsible and came to pick up Miley on time everyday. Leslie also sent multiple photos of his walk everyday and was great with leaving feedback about the walks. Miley loved her walks with Leslie. I would definitely recommend him.”

“Leila is obviously very experienced with dogs. She had control and a good rapport with Juno right away. She was with Juno for the full 1/2 hour and gave a thorough report. I trust Leila 100% to provide the best care for my pup.”

About: Hi, we are Taylor and Ashleigh. We are newer to Rover but have been caring for dogs for over 20 years and have had dogs of our own since we were kids. We've raised dogs from playful puppies to their senior years, so we're completely comfortable caring for both energetic youngsters and sweet senior dogs alike. We are also fully comfortable providing any care your dog may need, including administering oral medications or injections, if required. We have cared for dogs with seizure disorders, cancer, aggression, anxiety, sweet babies that require extra attention, dogs not potty trained, dogs in heat, small dogs to very large dogs, and many more. For us, taking care of dogs and cats is our passion rooted in unconditional love. We firmly believe that our fur babies are not just pets; they are our family, and we treat every single fur baby with the exact same devotion, warmth, and pampering we would give our own. Whether your pet needs extra cuddles, a structured schedule, or gentle handling, you can trust they'll be in caring, experienced hands. You can travel with absolute peace of mind, knowing your baby is receiving the absolute best care and being loved like family. We both currently work from home so we have plenty of time to take long walks, go to the dog park, play in the backyard, or just cuddle on the couch. We are able to accommodate any specific needs or request you may have to better care for your fur baby. We are available for overnight boarding, doggy day care, walks and drop-in visits. We can’t wait to meet and care for your fur baby! We primarily work from home, so we are typically gone for no more than a couple hours a day. We have plenty of time for special attention, walks, and play time. Our dogs have always been family, so we will treat yours exactly the same way. We have a small fenced in backyard, but primarily try to take them out for at least a brief walk/bathroom break every couple of hours. We can do as many potty breaks as needed. Dogs are welcome on all furniture and are welcome to sleep in the bed at night. If your pet likes to get into things please just let us know and we will make sure there is nothing they can get into. We also have gates we can use if needed. We want you pet to have a safe and fun visit while in our care. We will do whatever we need to to make sure your pet has the best experience.
“Angela is such a kind human being and you can tell how much she loves animals. It can be an uneasy thing letting someone else care for your pet, but with Angela we don't even think twice about it. She walked our dog once a day while we were at work and despite him being a bit of a hyper puppy she handled him with grace. She's super professional and keeps you posted on everything. Love Angela!”
About: 🐾 I've had experience with both dogs and cats, so I'd love to take care of both! I have experience with dogs of all sizes, as well as senior dogs with special needs! I am no stranger to anxious and attachment sensitive dogs as well, so I am patient and understanding for your furry friends. 🐾 I've also had cats since 2017, Uno, Adelle and the youngest, Zoey. Uno is an affectionate but cranky cat, Adelle is very anxious but super sweet, and Zoey loves to play and is very sassy. I have experience taking care of different cat temperaments, breeds, ages and health issues (I have experience administering medicine and checking dental health). 🐀 Also, just as a fun additive: I have rodent experience as I owned 3 rats (Spoon, Fork, and Knife) for 2 years. Unfortunately they have recently passed away, but i may look into getting more! I am a recent college graduate and I'm working hard to save up and become financially independent from my parents. I have a part time job at Whole Foods, but still plenty of time during the week to look after your pet! Any support is appreciated :) I'm more than happy to help! I have experience getting cats to go into crates, and I can easily crate your dog if necessary. I am always sure to keep their body language (and vocal language) in mind to be sure they are safe and sound, and getting everything they need. I love to sit, pet, and talk to your furry friends and I always come up with some ridiculous nicknames!

About: Hi! My name is Natty, and caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I have experience taking care of multiple dogs and cats, including my own pets: a sweet beagle named Harley, a golden retriever named Layla, and three rescued cats named Benito, Minnie, and Oreo, all of whom were adopted as strays and became part of our family. Being surrounded by animals every day has taught me how important patience, attention, and love are when caring for pets. I understand that every animal has their own personality and needs, and I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, or simply keeping pets company, I truly enjoy spending time with animals and treating them like family. I am very responsible, caring, and communicative, and I will always provide updates and photos for peace of mind. I would love the opportunity to care for your furry family members and make them feel happy and loved! I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time, attention, and care to your pets throughout the day. I’m available on both weekdays and weekends for walks, drop-ins, boarding, and playtime! I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, including my own pets at home. I always make sure animals feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for, while keeping owners updated with photos and communication for peace of mind.
“Melissa was such a sweetheart to my little girl! Seeing the pictures made me laugh and smile. Super patient with her and understood the feedback regarding Bella. Definitely will book again!”

About: When I moved out my 15 year old dog lived with me for almost 3 years and I took care of her daily and helping her with her needs as she got old. Additionally, I have stayed with my friends in Ohio and watched their dog while they were working numerous times. Lastly I have started walking 2 dogs over the past month and built a strong connection. I am currently not working, but will be starting grad school in January. Weekends and Monday I will be 100% free. Tuesday I can take care of dogs prior to 5 PM. Wednesday I can from 2 PM onwards and Thursday probably won’t work for me. I have 2 beds for sleeping and just relaxing if they want to be cozy. Additionally I have dog bowls, so if food is provided for me I can feed your little babies. I would probably just need toys as my Zoey didn’t care for toys in her old age

“Jack was incredible with Harbor!!! He provided such detailed updates and went above and beyond with Harbor, wiping his paws and making sure he was comfortable. He even turned off some lights so Harbor could sleep and gave him some play time! Would definitely book Jack again!! Highly recommend!!”

About: Hello, I’m Emelin and I’m a very energetic, attentive, and always up for an adventure. Pets are an adventure, you don’t quite always know what to expect for them but whatever comes in the way you must be able to care for them. Similar experience I’ve had was working at a daycare and essentially pets are like your children. They need a lot of care, attention, and entertainment in order to be satisfied which is no problem. When in need I will be readily available to assist you and your pets needs majority of the times. I offer a variety of services in the most efficient and best manner to meet all your needs. I can also be very flexible in order to meet your needs!! I am mostly just studying, I am pretty flexible so I can easily work out a schedule that best fits yours and the pets needs. I have a cat of my own who is very active and requires a lot of attention and have also pet sitted for friend while they have gone away. I am pretty well rounded in the pets needs.
“My regular walker canceled with only a day’s notice and I needed a walker for agu. Klaudia accepted the request, showed up on time and took pics during the walk and after. Also, my elevator was down but Klaudia still showed up and walked agu without any issues, even though she had to walk up & down 10flights. Klaudia never disappoints.”

“Vic has been an amazing dog walker this last week. Our puppy Bruce comes back happy and sleepy after his hour long walks with Vic each day. He’s very professional, easy to communicate with, takes great pics and gives a report back each day. Highly recommend him for your pups dog walking or care taking needs!”

About: I’ve had pets my whole life, cats and dogs. I currently have a 14 year old Husky and 14 year old Shiba Inu. I’ve had the Shiba since he was born and my husky was a rescue since she was 1 year old. My goal in life is to eventually start a dog rescue because I have a lot of love to give. I will treat your pets like my own. My husband won’t let me adopt any more animals because we plan on moving out of the country in the next few years so this is how I get my animal fix. I work in aviation. When I am gone, I am gone and when I am home I am home all day and am looking to fill my day with visiting pets and running/walking dogs. I will care for your pet however is requested. If your pets need play time they will get it. If they need snuggles, they will get it. I’m good with both high and low energy pets. I have senior dog experience and medication/injection administration.
“Sophia was great with Roscoe and an excellent communicator. Had no issues whatsoever and was even able to help on such a short notice. Will definitely be requesting her services again in the future!”

Kali was the best! She was exceptionally punctual, went above and beyond to make sure our little guy felt comfortable, spent a significant amount of time with him to keep him entertained, and sent amazing updates and photos with each walk. Can’t recommend her highly enough, will use her for every walk needed moving forward!

Ellison was happy to accommodate my slightly unusual request, seeing as Meg is blind and doesn’t need a full 30-mins of walking. She was more than willing to let Meg out for a potty break and spend a little time with her at home inside the 30 minute walking window. I also appreciated that she was able to stop by ahead of time so I could quickly show her the usual routine and allow Meg to sniff her to get familiar before she came over for the walks that were scheduled.

Christella has been an amazing dog walker! She’s reliable, caring, and always treats my dog like her own. I have complete peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. She’s communicative, dependable, and clearly loves what she does. My dog is always excited to see her and comes home happy after every walk. I highly recommend Christella to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog walker!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
