“Mari was great with my little anxious pup. They went on a 1.5 mile walk that Bella enjoyed thoroughly and I got to see the pics along their walk. Will definitely use Mari again.”

About: Cats and dogs are without a doubt Earth’s greatest creatures! I wasn’t allowed to own a pet growing up, but wanted to be around cats and dogs so desperately I began taking care of other people's pets when I was in high school. It is a dream come true to be a full- time pet sitter and the proud owner of two cats! I have experience working with senior pets, pets with special needs and behavioral problems, and puppies or kittens. I feel confident I can handle any situation or challenges your pets may have during our appointments. Caring for animals brings me so much joy and I will make sure to treat your pets like my own! Pet sitting is my full- time job, so I should be able to accommodate most requests for drop ins, walks, daycare and boarding on weekdays and weekends. My client’s safety is my number one priority. I know how precious your pets are to you and I will make sure to keep them healthy and happy while they’re in my care. When we book, please let me know if you have any special safety requests and I will be happy to follow it. I appreciate you trusting me with your pets!
“Randi was great - was a pretty last minute booking for me and 1st time using her - she offered to come for a meet and greet - Chassis loved her! She kept me well informed of arrival and walk details and always communicated throughout the process - would definitely recommend!”

“Calvin is amazing with our dog and highly recommend him. He’s always flexible and willing to help us out in a crunch when we need unexpected walks for Loot. He’s also a genuinely nice person, good soul. We trust him with our furry kids.”
“Life saver! Responded quickly to a last minute request and was able to take my little guy for a nice long walk. Friendly and professional. Will request again!”

“Baris is amazing! He's quick to respond and is punctual. Our dog is skiddish with men but as soon as Max met him, his tail was wagging and he came up to Baris and licked his hands. My dog is a good judge of character. If he likes them then I like them..lol. The first walk went great, Baris was able to put the leash on Max and play fetch outside. As soon as he was done my dog came into the house tired and with a smile. He then drank water and fell asleep for 4 hours lol...thank you Baris!!! We recommend him to anyone with animals. Thank you for treating our dog with kindness and patience.”

About: We’re a young, pet-loving couple with experience caring for dogs—especially since we have a sweet 2-year-old Yorkiepoo at home! Your pup will always have a friendly companion to play with. We treat every dog like family, giving them lots of love, attention, and care. We’re patient, responsible, and love building trust with both pets and their people. Pet care is a natural part of our daily routine since we have a dog of our own! One of us is a teacher, so during the summer we’re available 7 days a week for walks, playtime, and lots of attention. After summer break, we’re available Friday nights and weekends to give your pup the care they deserve. We care deeply about each dog and always follow the client’s requests closely. While we live in an apartment, we’re just steps away from a large park, so your pup will get plenty of outdoor time and walks. About: Hello! I am a college student and love animals. I will make your pets feel at home and will treat them like my own. They will be safe and taken care of to your standards. I have a French Bulldog, Pitbull and two cats that love other animals. My family embraces the dogs and will love them as their own. I have a fenced backyard where your furry friends can play. Taking care of animals is a great way to relieve stress and also have fun (for your furry friends too). There are many dog parks close to my house that the dogs will be able to visit AND I have lots of toys so your dog/ pet could enjoy themselves even more! Your dog will have a fantastic time. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions... I don't bite! Thank you, hope to have your pet stay with me! Pet care is a consistent part of my daily and weekly routine. Each day includes scheduled walks, feeding, cleaning, and check-ins, along with monitoring behavior and overall health. I structure my schedule to prioritize each pet’s individual needs, whether that means early morning walks, midday visits, or evening care. Throughout the week, I also coordinate client communication, and foster care responsibilities, making sure every animal receives reliable, attentive, and consistent care. I tailor my care based on the service and each pet’s individual needs, whether in my home or a client’s home. In a client’s home, I follow their routine closely to keep the pet comfortable, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication if needed, and maintaining a clean space. I also monitor behavior, appetite, and overall health, and provide regular updates to the owner. In my home, I create a safe, structured environment with supervised interactions, scheduled feeding, exercise, enrichment, and rest. I ensure pets are comfortable, stress-free, and treated like my own, while maintaining consistency, cleanliness, and clear communication with owners throughout the stay.

Pet care fits in my daily routine as I'm working part time and college is online. Distance isn't an issue and I'm free most of my week. About: I’ve taken care of my own and other friends’ pets for several years. I take the time to get to know the pets I work with including what is healthy/enjoyable for them to eat and what activities they enjoy (ex: walks or play with pets). I’ve especially had practice with caring for energetic pets/ puppies. I work part-time as a medical assistant at a derm office, where I work 2-3 days a week. I have a flexible schedule if informed in advance. In caring for pets, I ensure that pets feel both love and comfortable in the environment that they are in whether that be by providing entertainment, lots of love, and a consistent routine. I always follow the rules and routines set forth by pets owners as they are the ones that know their pets the best and what will make their pet happy.

About: I've been a cat and dog owner since I was 7, I always loved animals and I have been through many stages of learning about them. In my life I've had more cats that I rescued from the streets to adopt them and give them a fair life, and with dogs I have the patience to understand them and emphatize with them to become their friend. I'm a student and part time worker looking for a new experience in my life and some new ways of having extra income to survive the city and pay for my own bills. I have a lot of extra time after classes and also some weekends and I'm willing and excited to make this work. I will follow instructions of the owner for extra care and will also add my extra attention to the pet I'm taking care of.

Eli was absolutely wonderful with our two pups! She came to our home, was friendly, professional, and clearly has a genuine love for dogs. Our pups were happy, well-exercised, and comfortable with her right away. We felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands. We highly recommend Eli and look forward to having her walk our dogs again!

Brynne goes above and beyond - with proactive communication with us as well as following care instructions that we've shared for our pup. She is so friendly and kind. She truly loves dogs and treats them like her own. So happy to have booked her again and will keep her in mind in the future!

Michelle was absolutely wonderful with my dog, Mogi! From the very beginning, her communication was excellent and she was incredibly punctual. What I appreciated the most was her genuine care for Mogi’s happiness. Michelle really took the time to understand Mogi’s specific preferences and routines. We even did a meet-and-greet beforehand, where she was very thorough in asking questions to ensure she could provide the best care possible. I also had several last-minute changes to my schedule, and Michelle was incredibly flexible and patient. She handled every adjustment with a great attitude and total willingness to help. It’s a huge relief to find someone so reliable and attentive. I will definitely be booking her services again! Highly recommended.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
