“Melissa was such a delight! She had to spend a few hours resolving an issue with the keys with the front desk, but she handled it professionally, which meant she stayed for way longer than the 30min slot. She also took excellent care of Canéle during several visits over a two-week period. I really appreciated reading her detailed notes and seeing the beautiful photos and videos she shared.”

About: Hello! My name is Alena, and working with animals is my true passion. I have extensive experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds, as well as an invaluable background working in the veterinary department of an animal center. I am also Fear Free trained, which means I use specialized techniques to prevent and alleviate fear, anxiety, and stress in pets. This experience allows me to understand dog behavior deeply and handle pets with special needs, anxiety, or high energy. At home, I have a cat named Amber who prefers not to live with dogs. Because of this, my home boarding is exclusively open to foster cats. I am happy to offer walking, drop-in visits and pet sitting. My schedule is flexible, allowing me to fully adapt to your pet's established routine. Whether it’s maintaining a strict feeding schedule, timely medication administration, or structured walks, I ensure their day looks exactly like it does when you are home. Keeping a consistent routine is key to minimizing stress. Safety is my top priority. Thanks to my experience in a veterinary shelter department and Fear Free training I create a secure environment for every pet. I strictly follow all care instructions, and keep a close eye on their well-being. I am fully confident in administering medications and maintaining emergency protocols if needed.
About: Your pet’s favorite vet student! I’m currently a third-year veterinary student with a lifelong passion for caring for animals. Whether your pet is an energetic puppy or a beloved senior, they’ll receive attentive, compassionate care and plenty of love while you’re away. I’m patient, reliable, and enjoy long walks, playtime, and making sure every pet feels comfortable and safe. Growing up with a senior dog taught me the importance of personalized care, patience, and attention to detail. My veterinary training also allows me to recognize potential health concerns and monitor your pet’s well-being closely. You can feel confident knowing your furry family member is in caring, knowledgeable hands. I am currently on summer break! So I have lots of free time on my hands. I will be doing externship work at nearby veterinary hospitals at some point but that shouldn’t change my schedule too much. I love keeping pets active, happy, and entertained through walks, playtime, and plenty of interaction. I make sure they always have fresh food and water, get the exercise they need, and stick to their normal routine as closely as possible. Most importantly, I give them lots of love, attention, and companionship so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away.
About: Experience walking and caring for dogs and cats. I have fostered several animals throughout college and have trained dogs of all ages. My own pet is AKC Caine Good Citizen Certified and I have a research background in dog Vet Care and can make adjustments to care based on breed and any current health issues. I make time to take my own pet out on adventures and I'd love to be able to take yours out for some fun as well! I'm vigilant of potential dangers with care for a pet outside of their home. I take notice of areas/ other pets to avoid and will physically step in to protect your pets boundaries.
“Mari was taking care of our dog for over a months. He generally takes some time to get used to new people and Mari was very patient and kind with him and won his trust. Mari was also great communicating any concerns to us and keeping us informed. She also helped me to get used to Rover. I will be happy to leave our dog with Mari in the future.”

huge thank you for taking such amazing care of Momo! Julia were always on time and communicative for the daily visits! Momo absolutely adored her, and honestly, getting those cute selfies of the two of you completely made my day! Thank you so much again for everything—you're wonderful! ❤️

Tez is reliable as always and pretty much the only person I trust with my cats. I really appreciate the extra attention to detail she puts into everything — my cats can be messy sometimes, and she’ll even help sweep up scattered litter or take care of little things like resetting the lockbox on my door back to zero before she leaves. It’s such a small thing, but it really reflects how thoughtful and thorough she is. I always have peace of mind knowing my cats are in her care.

Absolutely amazing experience. She was attentive, communicative, and clearly cared so much about my cats while I was away. I got consistent updates, photos, and could tell my cats felt comfortable and relaxed with her; which says a lot because they can be picky with people. She went above and beyond during the drop-in visits and gave me complete peace of mind. Reliable, kind, and genuinely great with animals. I would 100% book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for their pets.

Lauryn is amazing! I just moved to the area and needed to take a trip I couldn't cancel and was in an absolute panic. My 16-year-old cat needs some medications and definitely a compassionate person, and I was so fortunate to find Lauryn. She was absolutely fantastic and very responsible. I'm also very iffy about letting strangers into my house but in this case I didn't need to worry about it at all because Lauryn left the place spotless. I would not hesitate to use her for pet care. I don't think you can find a better person!
