He lives and works very close to where I live so it is easy for him to come over to let out Gordon, even during his lunch breaks from work! Jack is very good at responding quickly to messages whether it is about booking a visit with him or changing a visit date, he always responds within an hour or sooner! Jack always sends me cute pictures of Gordon during his visits and always writes a nice note about their visits together which I really appreciate! The best part about Jack is that Gordon loves him! Gordon is always so excited to see Jack whenever he comes over, he listens to Jack really well and he loves playing with Jack too! I would definitely recommend Jack as a Rover sitter!”

About: If you are looking for a caring, affectionate, dedicated and responsible dog and cat lover, look no further! I am happy to open up my home as a sweet home away from home while you are away! Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets while away on travel. Nari is very well-trained and knows more than 100 commands in English and Korean. Understanding that our fur babies need mental stimulation to release different types of pent up energy, I am happy to do daily training with your pup! (Maybe even teach him/her a new trick or two in Korean 😉) Currently working from home, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to love on your fur babies! We go out to the dog park at least twice a day and out for walks at least three times a day! I am available throughout the week, on weekdays and weekends. Happy to watch your fur baby while you are away on holiday as well! My fur babies (dog and cat) and I will keep your fur babies company. I live in a very safe and friendly neighborhood, and follow a scenic route along the New York skyline for walks. If we are ever trying something new (treats, tricks, treatments, topical or other), I will always check-in first, understanding that all fur babies have special quirks, dietary restrictions or allergies.

About: I’ve had animals as a part of my life ever since I was born. I’ve always had many kinds of pets in my house from dog, cats, rabbits and horses to even rats. I’ve been a dog sitter for around 5 years in my hometown and was hoping to continue now that I’m here in New York. I have lots of experience with dogs of all ages and sizes as my family has fostered many different dogs. I also have senior dog experience and canine dementia experience as I have fostered some hospice cases as well as my own childhood dog developing dementia later in life. I am familiar with medication administration though I do need assistance administering fluids to bigger or more reactive dogs, but pulling and injections usually aren’t a problem. I love all animals so please let me know if you need care for any kind of pets as I’ve always had in interest in reptiles and birds as well and would be happy to provide care!! I’m currently working part-time in the evenings, so my days a pretty wide open. I would be happy to get a consistent schedule going if you want to reach out and have a particular time or day you need check ins or walks for your pets! I am currently living in a studio apartment so as of right now I’m only willing to board 1 or 2 dogs from the same home at a time. I also cannot handle dogs more that 35 pounds at the moment just due to the space I have (though I do love big dogs). However in a clients home I would be happy to care for dogs of any size and I’m familiar with drop in care or also full stay in home care as well. I understand that lots of times dogs need to go out extra at night and as a night owl myself I am happy to accommodate! I can also help with older dogs that start to get more anxious at night by letting them go out and see the grass as much as they want and eventually getting them down to a point they can sleep comfortably.

“Amaya has cared for animals all her life. I have a Shih-tzu (Watson) and he is so happy every time she comes over. I work part time so she comes over whenever but every time she follows the same routine. Take Watson for a walk, feed him at 12pm and 5pm and takes him for a walk after each meal. They have their playtime and nap time. Each visit is fun for the both of them.”

“Cynthia is kind, considerate, thoughtful, and very organized. When you first meet her, it will be her smile, her openness, and genuine love for your pet that will put you at ease because she loves pets, especially dogs and cats. Pets have always been able to sense this and bond with her straight away. She has a way of bringing out a shy pet or calming a very nervous or unsettled one too. A couple of years ago, we had a family tragedy and had to move our late father’s new puppy. I was very wary of the task of moving the little puppy to our mother’s house in another state, which would involve a 2-hour car journey. But I shouldn’t have worried because she organized everything, called the local vet, bought some emergency food, new toys, a blanket, and sat with the little puppy while I drove us back to our mother’s house. Was quite the journey because it became a 4-hour journey. On arrival she called the local vet for a visit, and then settled him at the house. The puppy was nervous and curious in a new home but within the next day or two they were inseparable, I have never seen such an excited pair. She always remembers their favourite treats, loves the bath times and adores the play times. She is our go to person because she has a genuine interest in our pets and she is organised kind and thoughtful definitely a godsend.”

About: My patience with animals helps me connect with them over time. Being patient and understanding with them, while also knowing that they are very intelligent creatures, helps maintain healthy habits and disciplined dogs! Very open schedule while I am in between jobs. I love taking care of pets and love all animals. Great with routines and keeping animals disciplined. I go on long walks and having a furry companion always helps. I’ve worked in various family homes both taking care of pets and cleaning houses. I have a nice backyard and open spaces in my home.

About: Dogs make my day. Whether it's caring for them or seeing them in passing on the street, I squeal over their individual personalities and enjoy being their favorite aunt! Friends have relied on me numerous times to walk, feed, and even bathe their dogs of different breeds, sizes, and ages. Not to mention I grew up with my family's high-energy Jack Russell Terrier. My partner and I also adopted our sweet Lhasa Also/Shih Tzu Mix named Gizmo in 2021, when he was allegedly 10 years old, and we absolutely adore him. Prior to their first walk with me I strongly encourage meet and greets with all my doggo friends, so I can introduce myself to your dog properly and you can show me exactly how you want your dog cared for. This is also a great time to show me any games your dog loves to play, any favorite tickle spots, or in general any quirks your dog may have. I love meeting owners and their dogs and learning from their bond! Plus, feel free to schedule the meet and greet with Nick as well, in case you'd like the option of inquiring about two walker's future availability through one account. I also only care for one dog at a time, so they have my full attention.
