About: I grew up in a home full of cats and dogs, and since I’m an only child, I’ve always seen them as my siblings — playing with them, growing up alongside them. As I got older, my mom often took me along to help care for stray animals, and she taught me from a young age how to look after them. These values have been deeply rooted in me ever since and have become a meaningful part of who I am. That early connection with animals taught me not only responsibility and empathy, but also inspired my passion for animal welfare. It’s one of the reasons I feel so comfortable and fulfilled caring for pets — whether they’re my own or someone else’s. Being around animals has always felt natural to me, and I’m committed to giving them the attention and love they deserve. I’m currently a theatre art student at UMN, and since I don’t have classes over the summer, I’m looking for some work opportunities. I’d also be happy to continue pet sitting even after the school year starts. I currently have two cats in the U.S. and built a custom cat wall to enrich their environment. I feed them both wet and dry food daily to ensure they stay hydrated, and I clean their litter boxes and floors every day to maintain a tidy, healthy space. Back in my hometown, I have three dogs and five cats. We live in the mountains with a large yard where the dogs can run freely. About: I’ve been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember, from dog walking and sitting for friends, family, and coworkers to growing up around dogs of all sizes. I’ve cared for puppies, senior dogs, small breeds, and large breeds, and I’m comfortable with a wide range of personalities and energy levels. One of my most meaningful experiences was helping care for my family dog, Sam, a West Highland Terrier, into his senior years. He had diabetes that required insulin injections, a special diet, and medications, and later developed cataracts that led to blindness. Caring for Sam made me especially comfortable with senior dogs and pets who need a little extra patience and attention. “Randi is the best petsitter you can ever get or hope to get! I had to go away for a all week and this was my first time ever leaving my cat with a stranger and in a different house. Before leaving I was a little anxious since my cat is not used at all to be with other people but for the all trip Randi sent me pictures of my cat and kept me posted about how it was going. She literally went above and beyond and I could say from the pictures that she sent me and also when I went to pick up my cat, how good she was with him. I have to say that my cat doesn’t get comfortable with people easily and literally when I went to pick up my cat, he didn’t even wanna leave her place anymore lol She also made sure that he was eating enough and had enough water every day. Randi went to buy extra food and litter without even me asking her to do so, just to make sure that my cat had all he needed. She was super caring and nice with him the all time. Honestly I couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend her for your pet. You will be very happy to leave your hairy friend in good hands. Thank you so much Randi. I will certainly book her again.”
