I’ve been working with dogs since 2015 and became a professional dog groomer in 2017, continuing in that role until 2020. Caring for animals has always been my passion, and I’m dedicated to exploring every avenue to deepen that connection. I currently volunteer at the Newark Animal Shelter as a dog walker, and every moment spent with the animals there brings me joy. Whether your pet has paws or purrs, you can rest easy knowing they’ll be in caring, capable hands. I provide frequent updates with photos and videos to keep you connected while you’re away. I’m experienced in administering medications—both oral and injectable—and always prioritize your pet’s health and comfort. Every dog and cat I care for is treated like family, with all the love, attention, and TLC they deserve. I can’t wait to meet your furry friend and give them the best care possible!

My beagle is a couch potato and will spend most of her day sleeping. My Jack Russell gets walks both in the morning and at night, and training during the day to keep her active. I will do the same for your pets, depending on your wants and the animal's needs!

Deanna was very helpful by taking care of our 2 cats while we were out of town! She sent comments and pictures everyday to keep us updated on how they were doing, which was very sweet. We are so grateful to have someone there to give us peace of mind while gone. Thank you Deanna!!!
This was our first time having Deanna care for our two kitties and I am so happy that we found her. We were anxious to leave our fur babies to go on an overseas trip, but Deanna's well written and thoughtful updates truly put us at ease and it was clear that she read and followed our specific care instructions. I could see from the photos that the kitties were comfortable in her presence. It pleasantly surprised me that even my super shy one came out when she was there, and approached her more closely with each passing day. She understands that they have their individual personalities and respected that in her interactions with them. Deanna even went above and beyond when I asked her to leave nuts out each day for the baby squirrels that visit our deck. We were so pleased with her level of care and will definitely seek her out when the need arises in the future.
Deanna did a great job looking after my cats while I was away. I got regular detailed updates with photos, and communication was easy / painless. Would hire her again!
Deanna was so great with our cat, Pepper. She was patient and caring which was reassuring while we were on our trip out of the country. I definitely suggest Deanna for any of your pet sitting needs!

Deanna did a fantastic job with my cat during a four-day drop-in visit. She was professional, incredibly sweet, and provided consistent, detailed updates. My cat is very timid with strangers, but Deanna went out of her way to socialize with him, and by day two, he was already playing and cuddling with her! Schedule
Pet care is a natural part of my routine and something I truly enjoy. I’m busiest from Tuesdays through Thursdays, but I make sure to schedule pet care around those days so that each visit or stay gets my full attention. Whether it’s drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, or cuddles, I always carve out dedicated time to care for each pet like they’re my own.
