Hello! My name is Alena, and working with animals is my true passion. I have extensive experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds, as well as an invaluable background working in the veterinary department of an animal center. I am also Fear Free trained, which means I use specialized techniques to prevent and alleviate fear, anxiety, and stress in pets. This experience allows me to understand dog behavior deeply and handle pets with special needs, anxiety, or high energy. At home, I have a cat named Amber who prefers not to live with dogs. Because of this, my home boarding is exclusively open to foster cats. I am happy to offer walking, drop-in visits and pet sitting.

Safety is my top priority. Thanks to my experience in a veterinary shelter department and Fear Free training I create a secure environment for every pet. I strictly follow all care instructions, and keep a close eye on their well-being. I am fully confident in administering medications and maintaining emergency protocols if needed.

We were able to enjoy our vacation without a worry because of Alene’s excellent attention to our two cats while we were away. We couldn’t be happier with our choice. Not only did she arrive on time each day and feed the cats and clean their litter boxes, she also spent time with them and even watered the plants. Alene is very honest and conscientious. She made sure the house was secured whenever she left and sent daily pictures of our happy pets. Our cats quickly grew close to her and I think the girl cat wanted to go home with her when we returned. It was a great overall experience.
Alena was simply amazing with my cat Athena. She took care of her for over a week and always made sure she was happy and well cared for. After every drop-in, she would let me know how everything went, send me amazing pictures, and provide a detailed update. You can tell Alena truly loves animals. She’s caring, polite, and incredibly attentive. I felt completely at ease knowing Athena was in such good hands. Alena has been absolutely amazing with my dogs, Mia and Lucas! She’s reliable, incredibly responsive, and always flexible with scheduling. My pups adore her, and I have complete peace of mind knowing they’re in such caring hands. She’s become such an important part of their routine, and I couldn’t recommend her more highly! As an added bonus she takes incredible pictures of my dogs as well!
