“Calvin is the most gentle dog walker I’ve worked with. My frenchie tends to pull the leash and direct walkers where to go, which has led to injuries under her armpits (from the friction of pull between her and the walker). I’ve never experienced that with Calvin. He is punctual, respond to my messages quickly, and overall just a great person to work with. Highly recommend.”

About: I've always been the type of person to greet every living thing with a waving hello to a cow, smiling at the turtles at the pond, and asking your pet's how their day has been. Since I've stared on Rover, I've had the pleasure of meeting many pets through repeated housesitting, and going out for walks. Every pet is unique with their own needs and wants. I'm attentive and pay close attention to any scheduled meal plans, checking in on their stool, and make sure everything is clean. If you ever have any concerns, I'm available to answer your questions :) At the moment I'm available at anytime, so any scheduled weekly routines or long periods of housesitting would work with me. If you have any trips coming up please let me know, I'll be happy to work with you. I see your pets as your family, so I care for them very dearly and make sure they have all the love and attention they need. I'm always taking notice if they want a treat, need a walk, or want some social times with other dogs their size. If they simply need company, I'll make sure they have everything they need, and create a nice, warm, relaxing vibe for them where they feel comfortable. Depending on how you like things to be done, I would love to follow your lead with whatever makes you feel comfortable. I want you to know that you and your pet are in good hands.
“Candiance was excellent with my reactive dog. It’s clear that she has experience with reactivity and was patient with my dog’s anxiety. She gave lots of details in the summary of each walk and I felt very comfortable entrusting my dog to her!”

“Randi was great - was a pretty last minute booking for me and 1st time using her - she offered to come for a meet and greet - Chassis loved her! She kept me well informed of arrival and walk details and always communicated throughout the process - would definitely recommend!”

“Pamela is amazing! I needed someone to walk Lyra while I was away and she went above and beyond! My Mom was taking care of my babies but due to an injury she can't walk Lyra but Pamela stepped in and gave Lyra a lot of exercise and stimulation. Lyra enjoyed it so much that she was waiting for her last night and today; Lyra definitely made a friend! My cats loved her energy too, my Mother tells me that every time she came to pick up Lyra they alsp went to her to say hi! All of my babies approved of her and to me thats the most important part. I recommed Pamela and I know that if I need someone to take care and walk Lyra again I can count on her!”

“Alena has been absolutely amazing with my dogs, Mia and Lucas! She’s reliable, incredibly responsive, and always flexible with scheduling. My pups adore her, and I have complete peace of mind knowing they’re in such caring hands. She’s become such an important part of their routine, and I couldn’t recommend her more highly! As an added bonus she takes incredible pictures of my dogs as well!”

“Angela has been walking our dog Murphy on days we have to go into the office ever since we moved to the area in June. She is very kind and cares about our pup! I love the pictures I get from their walks and detailed updates about how Murphy did. It gives us peace of mind knowing he is in good hands with Angela.”

“Mariah has been so great to my baby, Enzo! She handles his goofy, energetic personality great and always makes sure his walks are enough to get some energy out and make his day at home better.”

“Stephanie was great and helped me out in a cramped morning - Luna loved her, they got a ton of steps, and she was great! Look forward to future walks- thanks Stephanie!”

“Lauryn was super responsive and flexible with timing on Anakin's walk. She confirmed the booking quickly and communicated well before, during and after the walk. I'm sure Anakin loved her! Would definitely book with Lauryn again :)”

“Hayley was very accomodating with my last minute booking and I'm so happy to have found her to be my dog walker. She kept me thoroughly updated throughout the entire booking. Thank you Hayley!”

“I have nothing but great things to say about Jenn and if Goose could talk I’m sure he would too! I was a bit apprehensive about booking a dog walker as only me or my fiancé have ever walked Goose, but his tail was wagging from the second she took the leash and hasn’t stopped! Jenn is great with Goose, an avid puller, and takes her time with him around new situations as he’s still a puppy! She is patient and kind, and gives lots of updates and pictures which I love! I cannot recommend Jenn enough!”

“Isis is an excellent walker, Tango seems to like her a lot! It has been only twice that she took Tango for walks, but I like the way she treats my fur baby, and how she handles him. She’s very reliable, I would definitely recommend her and of course book her services again”

“Melissa was such a sweetheart to my little girl! Seeing the pictures made me laugh and smile. Super patient with her and understood the feedback regarding Bella. Definitely will book again!”

“Mari is so sweet! Our puppy loved her and was tired and happy when we got home from being out for the night. She took a lot of care to make Benny feel comfortable with her before she took him out and it really put my mind at ease.”

I never leave reviews for anything, positive or negative. But I would be remised not to leave a stellar review for Isabella. This is a superstar of a dog walker/carer. Isabella is a pet parent’s dream caretaker. Responsible✅, communicative✅, organised✅, caring✅, and more. She has made Bernie’s life more comfortable, and my schedule significantly more manageable. If you are thinking twice about booking Isabella, you’ve thought one additional time too many. 10/10 all around.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
