“Mari is amazing! Grateful to have found her to check in on my two cats when Im out of town and give them some love. She’s helped me many times and I always appreciate the care she puts into making sure they’re staying happy and healthy.”

About: About this sitter: Just moved to Weehawken. I grew up with dogs and have always been a huge dog lover and have plenty of pet care experience. My Labrador, Maizie, recently passed away, and Im now ready to be around dogs again. It's been a huge loss for me, and I currently can't have a dog where I live. I am in much need of some dog love. If you're looking for someone who is a true dog lover and will give a ton of love and attention to your pet, this includes any pets you have. Please reach out, and we can set up a time to do a meet and greet. I currently work during the day, but I will be available from 4:30 pm to 10 pm. Weekends, I am available as well; times vary. I offer dog walking, pet sitting, drop-in visits, house sitting, and overnight stays, depending on clients' and animals' needs. I'm very respectful of privacy and personal space when I am house-sitting or doing overnight stays. If you need a background check, I can provide that information.
About: Hi there! I’ve been a trusted pet sitter on Rover since 2018, and I’m proud to have received all 5-star reviews from my wonderful clients. My dedication to pet care has even been recognized by Business Insider, where I’ve been featured twice for my pet sitting services. I specialize in house sitting, and my goal is always to leave your home better than I found it. I treat your space with the utmost respect and your pets like family. I also provide regular updates, photos, and videos, so you’ll never have to worry about your fur baby while you’re away—you’ll always know they’re safe, happy, and loved. I would love to care for your pet and give them lots of love while you are away! I will walk your dog, play with your cat, and give lots of enrichment to ensure they stay active and happy. I also provide regular updates through photos and videos so that you'll never have to worry while you're away! Working remotely for myself gives me the freedom to offer consistent, high-quality care throughout the day. I’m experienced with all types of pets and special needs—from giving insulin shots to diabetic dogs to helping a cat with asthma. I also regularly care for my parents' two dogs, so pets are a part of my everyday life. If you’re looking for a reliable, communicative sitter who will care for your pets and your home like they’re my own, I’d love to help! I work from home and own my own business. I'm a full time content creator and freelancer and have all the flexibility to give your pet the best care at all times! I may even feature your pet in my content if you're okay with it. I may leave the house here and there to go to the gym or attend an event. I have no issues staying home with them as long as they need it! I make sure to give your pet the best care I can! I will walk them or take them out before I leave if needed. I can give medications or insulin shots if needed. I also have experience with administrating an inhaler to a cat with asthma. I can also take any type of safety precautions if needed such as closing gates, fences, doors and putting away hazardous objects or food. If they need to go in the kennel before I leave the home, I will gladly do so and be responsible of that!
“I am so grateful for Lauryn watching my cat while I was away. She was very communicative, and she provided me lots of peace of mind since this was my first time leaving my cat home alone. I think my cat really liked her, because he would be meowing at me angrily if he didn’t. He seemed to adjust pretty well. Thank you again Lauryn ??????”

“Murray was an excellent cat sitter. He fed and played with my cats every day and even got my most timid cat to come out of hiding. He also took care of some minor things when I asked him like a camera the cats knocked over. I am really glad I hired Murray and Ana to take care of my cats while I was gone - and my cats were glad as well.”

About: I’ve been taking care of cats when I was teenagers. My first cat was 17 years old. I just got my new cat, I bought everything for my cat. I am good with keeping everything as clean as possible, vacuum everyday. I also have experience taking care of small dogs. I took care of my step daughter's two Yorkshire Terrier dogs when she was travelling, One of them is more than 10 years old. I fed the dogs and clean the dog's face, comb their hair, play with them. It was fun time. They like me more than my husband, haha. I’m free after work, I work at Wall street Manhattan, living near Fort Lee NJ. I will be available after work Monday to Friday, weekends will be more flexible. I bought everything automatic for my cat. The automatic litter box, I clean it every day. Water fountain has filter, I wash and change the water every 3 to 4 days with boiled water (cooling down) due to my cat only has one kidney. Cat food, I feed him with wet can food twice a day and with dry food automatic feeding. I mix different cat food due to his sensitive stomach.

Tessa has been wonderful 😊 Arya took well to her rather quickly which was impressive. She's always respectful and provides me a full detailed report. Of course, photos too! With my new commute and insane schedule, she has been so accommodating and a gem. Arya and I are lucky to have her 🐕🙃

Alena was amazing with Binx, she shared a lot of photos and I’m sure Binx loved having her company. Alena also really helped me out because I did a last minute booking. She is professional, punctual, and a real animal whisperer. I will definitely be booking her again!

Loretto was wonderful with my dog, Mapache. He can be a bit of a troublemaker and doesn’t always warm up to new sitters, so I was pleasantly surprised by how calm and comfortable he was during Loretto’s visit. Loretto was patient, reliable, and clearly has a great way with dogs. I would happily book with him again!
Everything ran super smooth even after me booking last minute. Doosung has great communication skills, he was super pontual and sent tons of photos. Happy my dog had quality time with him while I was away. Thank you Doosung for the support and will def reach you over again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in West New York with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
