“Murray was an excellent cat sitter. He fed and played with my cats every day and even got my most timid cat to come out of hiding. He also took care of some minor things when I asked him like a camera the cats knocked over. I am really glad I hired Murray and Ana to take care of my cats while I was gone - and my cats were glad as well.”

“Pamela was very friendly and loving with our pet, was on time and as our dog got more accustomed to her (this was the first time), they even went on a little walk together 😊I would highly recommend her!!”

About: I’ve been taking care of cats when I was teenagers. My first cat was 17 years old. I just got my new cat, I bought everything for my cat. I am good with keeping everything as clean as possible, vacuum everyday. I also have experience taking care of small dogs. I took care of my step daughter's two Yorkshire Terrier dogs when she was travelling, One of them is more than 10 years old. I fed the dogs and clean the dog's face, comb their hair, play with them. It was fun time. They like me more than my husband, haha. I’m free after work, I work at Wall street Manhattan, living near Fort Lee NJ. I will be available after work Monday to Friday, weekends will be more flexible. I bought everything automatic for my cat. The automatic litter box, I clean it every day. Water fountain has filter, I wash and change the water every 3 to 4 days with boiled water (cooling down) due to my cat only has one kidney. Cat food, I feed him with wet can food twice a day and with dry food automatic feeding. I mix different cat food due to his sensitive stomach.
“Did an amazing job of catering her visits to my dogs specific needs and keeps you updated well of your fur babies. Super kind, sweet, and responsible. 100% recommend”

“Christella is the best. Don't hesitate, book her! She was so patient with my two puppies one of which is going through his a hole phase. I couldn't have found a better person to help out with them!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 6 years — from energetic puppies to gentle senior dogs. I’m patient, loving, and always attentive to each dog’s personality and comfort. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or quiet companionship, I make sure every pup feels happy, safe, and loved. I also have experience walking dogs of different sizes and temperaments, and I’m comfortable with basic care routines and giving oral medication when needed. I work from home full-time and have a very flexible schedule. My work is light and meeting-free most of the day, so I’m home almost all the time. I take regular breaks to walk dogs and spend quality time with them — giving your pets plenty of attention, play, and care throughout the day. I live in a spacious 3B3B apartment that’s quiet, clean, and pet-friendly with my husband. Even though it’s an apartment, there’s plenty of space for pets to move around safely and comfortably. I always keep doors and windows secured, monitor pets closely, and follow each owner’s care instructions carefully — including feeding schedules, walks, and medication if needed. For safety, I never leave dogs unattended outdoors and ensure cats stay in secure indoor areas. We’re just an 8-minute walk from a beautiful dog park and a riverside trail, perfect for safe, relaxing walks and playtime. I also send regular photo and video updates so you can feel confident your pet is happy, loved, and well cared for.

About: Though many people believe that it does not take a lot of experience to be good at walking dogs, it actually requires a number of skills. Consider first, how much you love your pets, and how you would feel if they were lost, taken for granted, and/or mistreated by an individual you are paying. This is why you must have a candidate who knows about different breeds of dogs, is on time, and know how to care for dogs in feeding, playing, and walking dogs. Moreover, they must love dogs-otherwise all will be amiss. I have been walking dogs as a profession for the past three years, and 15-20 years before that for my own dogs. I love animals, and have all the skills and experience you might be interested in.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every size and kind for family friends and neighbors. They have relied on me to bathe, feed, walk, and care for their pets. I am currently working part time and I am available a few days out the week so it varies every week depending when I am needed. I have a 3 year old cockapoo and all she loves to do is play. She’s friendly and introductions matter to dogs so being attentive to the client’s pets reaction to my dog matters most to me.
About: I have at least ten years experience taking care of dogs and cats. From walking dogs, over night stays to make sure your cat’s litter stays clean, and making sure your pets get proper care and medications when needed. And of course giving a ton of love and attention.🙂 My love for dogs and all animals is immense and your pet will surely feel that! I currently work part time and have a flexible schedule with a lot of my day open, and I can always sit over night when needed. I have two dog parks near my residence. I live in an elevator building for any dog that has trouble with stairs, if a trip to my place is needed. I unfortunately do not have any pets of my own, so I have more time to focus on your fur baby! 😊

“Leslie is GREAT!! I was really worried because I have 2 rescues that are super sweet and needy. He even came to meet them the day before, and they loved him. He sent pics and all, I'll def use him again!”

About: Hello! My name is Alena, and working with animals is my true passion. I have extensive experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds, as well as an invaluable background working in the veterinary department of an animal center. I am also Fear Free trained, which means I use specialized techniques to prevent and alleviate fear, anxiety, and stress in pets. This experience allows me to understand dog behavior deeply and handle pets with special needs, anxiety, or high energy. At home, I have a cat named Amber who prefers not to live with dogs. Because of this, my home boarding is exclusively open to foster cats. I am happy to offer walking, drop-in visits and pet sitting. My schedule is flexible, allowing me to fully adapt to your pet's established routine. Whether it’s maintaining a strict feeding schedule, timely medication administration, or structured walks, I ensure their day looks exactly like it does when you are home. Keeping a consistent routine is key to minimizing stress. Safety is my top priority. Thanks to my experience in a veterinary shelter department and Fear Free training I create a secure environment for every pet. I strictly follow all care instructions, and keep a close eye on their well-being. I am fully confident in administering medications and maintaining emergency protocols if needed.
About: I have grown up around dogs and have always loved being around them. I regularly help walk and spend time with my friends’ dogs, and I truly enjoy taking them out for walks or runs. I am very active and enjoy exercising, so I am a great match for dogs that need energy and movement. I am patient, attentive, and always make sure dogs feel safe and comfortable during walks. I’m currently available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays from 6 AM to 3 PM. I’m a college student with a part time job, so my schedule may vary slightly, but I always communicate in advance and do my best to stay flexible and reliable. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I pay close attention to details like secure leashing, surroundings, and your pet’s behavior at all times. I carefully follow all care instructions and routines to keep things consistent and stress free. I also keep pet parents updated with messages and photos, so you always know how your pet is doing. I treat every home and pet with respect, patience, and care.
About: Hi! I’m Natalia, and I truly enjoy spending time with animals. Activities like walking, being in nature, and staying active are a big part of my lifestyle, which naturally fits well with caring for pets. I have experience caring for both cats and dogs with different personalities and needs. I’ve cared for three cats, including two that were very calm and affectionate, and one that was initially more distant and cautious. With patience and a gentle approach, I was able to build trust over time, helping the cat feel more comfortable and open to interaction. I’ve also cared for a small dog with hip dysplasia. I followed the owner’s instructions closely to support the dog’s comfort, including gentle handling and basic massage. Since the dog couldn’t use stairs, I would carefully carry them when needed. This experience taught me to be attentive, patient, and mindful of a pet’s physical limitations. What sets me apart is my patience and attention to detail. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality, routine, and comfort level, and I always adapt my care accordingly. Whether it’s an energetic pet that needs engagement or a more sensitive one that needs space, I focus on creating a calm and safe environment. I’m reliable and respectful of routines, including feeding, walks, and any specific care instructions. My goal is to make pets feel secure and cared for, while giving owners complete peace of mind. I would love the opportunity to care for your pet and create a positive, stress-free experience for both of you. My schedule is structured, but I offer reliable availability for specific types of care. I work in the afternoons and evenings (typically from 4:00 PM to around 11:00 PM), so I’m not available during those hours. However, I have flexibility in the mornings and early afternoons, especially if scheduled in advance. From Tuesday to Saturday, I can often accommodate morning visits or adjust my schedule when needed. I’m also available for overnight stays if your pet needs care during the night. Sundays and Mondays are my most flexible days, with greater availability throughout the day—especially Mondays. I’m happy to coordinate with pet owners to find a schedule that works best for both sides while ensuring pets receive consistent and attentive care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always aim to follow their usual routines as closely as possible to help pets feel comfortable and secure. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, litter box cleaning, playtime, and any specific instructions provided. I make sure the environment is clean, safe, and calm, and I’m respectful of the client’s home at all times. I also provide updates and photos, so owners can feel reassured while they are away. My priority is to create a stress-free experience for both the pet and the owner by being attentive, reliable, and caring.

West New York dog parents share their Rover experiences
Haziza is the absolute best!!! My dog cheddar adores Haziza. She is always so punctual, communicative, friendly, and just overall a fantastic person to look after your furry little pal. We have rebooked Haziza again and again, and I can’t recommend her highly enough!

Daisy was absolutely amazing! I needed a last minute sitter and she went above and beyond. She provided regular updates, detailed report cards after each visit, and sent so many great photos that gave me total peace of mind while I was away. It was very clear she genuinely cared and treated my pup so well. I would absolutely book with Daisy again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and communicative sitter.

Victoria was fabulous! She took care of our epileptic dog while we were on vacation, making sure he had his medicine on time every day, twice a day. He adores her! Even though we were on the other side of the world, we never had to worry about him. Our other dog is afraid of her own shadow, but I saw her warming up very slowly to Victoria. I can’t wait to book her for more visits.

Shirley is THE BEST. I was hesitant at first because she only had one review, but after regularly checking in on my Ring camera, I was so happy with my choice. I truly don’t think anyone could have taken better care of my Theo. He was entertained and playing with her 24/7, she walked him regularly, and followed his specialized feeding directions to a T. My only complaint is that my dog seemed genuinely disappointed when I came home!
