I live in a city apartment and do not have the ability to house animals in my apartment. I have done overnight stays at clients apartments and feel very comfortable doing drop in visits and staying in clients apartments.

Please let me know if your pets have any triggers or preferences. For example, some will bark a lot upon arrival but they mean no harm, just let me know! I always want the animal to feel comfortable around a new person. Keeping your fur babies happy and healthy is my #1 priority.
A typical day
I love to spend quality time with the animals to learn who they truly are! I feel like it is important to connect with these pets and learn their likes and dislikes to personalize the perfect time together. I can take dogs for long walks if they need to get energy out. I can also sit and cuddle with them if they’re feeling a little lonely during the day!

I have grown up around dogs my entire life and now have two cats of my own. My family consistently had dogs for the first 25 years of my life whom I assisted with. My experience escalated when I volunteered at my local animal shelter where I walked the dogs and assisted with feeding. I have experience with puppies all the way to geriatric dogs, including overnights. I have a degree in pre-vet medicine as well as experience administering insulin to cats.

To Whom it May Concern, I recently had an Airedale who was extremely dear to me and was in his senior years. I had always relied on family or friends to watch my dogs not wanting to put them in a caged area. We had booked a vacation to South Africa and I needed to find someone that could not only watch my dog but also walk, feed and entertain him, which meant living at my house for 3 weeks. It's not easy to find someone that you can trust and have complete faith in that your "Best Buddy" will be taken care of properly. I happened to be extremely lucky as a friend of mine mentioned to me that her daughter absolutely loves dogs and would definitely do the job. I can honestly say I couldn't have had a better person watch my dog Higgins. He took to her instantly and they developed such a bond,playing,feeding,walking and taking care of him. Roxie even sent me photos to my phone to assure me he was fine and happy. Recently I had to put my dog down after 14 great years with him leaving a hole in my heart forever. When Roxie found out the news of Higgins she actually cried....yes there was a real bond between them.
