About: I’ve had all sorts of pets since I was a little girl. Mostly dogs and cats in my adult years. I haven’t gotten a new dog since I had to say goodbye to my last furry friend. Now I want to have part time pets to love I’m a photographer and a design coordinator who works outside my home a few weeks a year and spends most time home editing photos, or playing with my two grandsons. I have a nice fenced in yard and a beautiful park across the street. I live in a quiet neighborhood with nice streets for walks. There is also a dog park close by.
“Philsung went above and beyond taking care of our 2 large senior dogs. He was thoughtful and proactive, and communicated throughout the visits. We were very impressed and would definitely book again.”

About: I've been around dogs my whole life and have real hands on experience with animals of different ages, from young energetic dogs to seniors who need a slower, more attentive pace. I'm comfortable reading dog behavior and adjusting how I interact based on what each individual animal needs. Beyond experience, I genuinely enjoy it. This isn't a side job I'm indifferent to. I'm a nutrition science student which means I'm detail oriented and take health and wellness seriously, for people and animals. I notice things, I communicate well, and I show up the same way every time. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I'm genuinely a dog person, not just someone who works with animals. This summer I'm based in Harlem full-time, so I'm available for walks, drop ins, and sitting throughout the day. I keep a consistent schedule and I'm flexible with timing; mornings, afternoons, and evenings all work. Dogs get my full attention, not a rushed visit. I treat every home I'm in with real respect. I keep things tidy, stick to the routines the owner sets, and make sure pets feel settled and safe rather than anxious. I'm experienced with dogs of different ages and temperaments, and I pay attention to their individual cues rather than applying a one size fits all approach. If something comes up like behavior, health, or anything unexpected, I communicate right away. Owners shouldn't have to wonder how their pet is doing.
“Johanna & Timur were an absolute pleasure to work with! They are warm, friendly, punctual, and great communicators. I felt totally at ease leaving my dog with them. I will 100% contact them in the future and couldn’t recommend more.”

About: Experienced with Special Needs Pets I am a responsible and attentive pet sitter who genuinely enjoys caring for animals. I recently completed a 6-week house-sitting assignment caring for a blind cat, where I ensured a safe, consistent, and comfortable environment. I am patient, detail-oriented, and able to follow specific care routines, including feeding schedules, medication, and maintaining familiar surroundings for pets with special needs. I treat every pet like family and prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness. I am a full-time teacher with the New York City Department of Education, and I’m available for pet care on weekdays after 3:00 PM and throughout the weekends. My schedule allows me to be consistent, reliable, and fully present when caring for your pet. I provide attentive and compassionate care by ensuring pets are fed, walked, and kept in a clean, safe environment. I enjoy engaging with pets based on their energy—whether that means playing and staying active or providing calm companionship. I also help care for three stray cats in my building by feeding them regularly and maintaining a warm, safe shelter we built for them during colder months. Additionally, I care for my sister’s dog, Ace, when visiting, giving me experience with both cats and dogs of different needs and personalities.
“Our kitties loved Dayshalis and so do we! She took great care of them, making sure they had plenty of play time and attention. She also takes great photos! Her visits and updates were at consistent times, which is much appreciated.”

“Amy is the most thorough, trustworthy, and reliable pet sitter I could imagine! I've never used Rover before and have a 7 month old kitten- Amy was incredible this last week for us, even through new years eve and new years day. She was so considerate and came before booking twice to meet peanut, once when we first booked and again a few weeks later before we left for our trip. She took pictures every day and sent it to us, which made my day. In the pictures I can tell my cat loves her and she came out when shes usually afraid of people. I'm so glad we found Amy and I cannot recommend her enough. ❤”

About: I’ve been taking care of cats when I was teenagers. My first cat was 17 years old. I just got my new cat, I bought everything for my cat. I am good with keeping everything as clean as possible, vacuum everyday. I also have experience taking care of small dogs. I took care of my step daughter's two Yorkshire Terrier dogs when she was travelling, One of them is more than 10 years old. I fed the dogs and clean the dog's face, comb their hair, play with them. It was fun time. They like me more than my husband, haha. I’m free after work, I work at Wall street Manhattan, living near Fort Lee NJ. I will be available after work Monday to Friday, weekends will be more flexible. I bought everything automatic for my cat. The automatic litter box, I clean it every day. Water fountain has filter, I wash and change the water every 3 to 4 days with boiled water (cooling down) due to my cat only has one kidney. Cat food, I feed him with wet can food twice a day and with dry food automatic feeding. I mix different cat food due to his sensitive stomach.
“Alyssa is incredibly reliable and responsive! Even with a last minute request and during Christmas, she was able to care for our pets. I trust Alyssa in my home and with our cats. It’s an added bonus that she sends pictures every visit.”

About: I've been around pets my entire life -- all 37 years. I've had dogs (had 4 at once at one point!), 2 cats, 2 rabbits, 7 hamsters, and 2 birds. I love animals so much. My oldest dog lasted until he was 17 years old! He was the goodest boy. I currently have a Pit Bull and a rescued outdoor (now Indoor cat). I'm a full-time notary, but make my own schedule. So, I have plenty of leeway to make time to care for your furry loved ones. Pets >>> Notary :D I have two pets at home, so my care would be only in your home. But I have a car to take dogs on rides if that's what they like to do!

About: Greetings, I’m Tyler, a 24-year-old professional with four years of dedicated experience in canine care. My journey began at a kennel-free doggy daycare, where I honed my hands-on skills in nurturing and safeguarding dogs. Prior to my transition to Rover, I participated in a boarding school program known as Hands-to-Work, aligning with the Shaker lifestyle. This initiative involved contributing to the community by tending to animals in shelters, exemplifying my commitment to service. As a dedicated dog walker, I take pride in my approach, which is distinguished by patience and a profound understanding of canine behavior. I firmly believe in the importance of recognizing each dog’s unique needs and preferences. During our walks, I prioritize creating an environment where it is truly their walk—I serve as a guiding and protective presence, never resorting to pulling or force. My commitment to gentle handling and respect for the individuality of each canine companion sets me apart in the field. Ensuring the well-being of every dog under my care is paramount. I am dedicated to providing a nurturing environment that emphasizes comfort, safety, and companionship. Within my capacity as a pet care professional, I emphasize flexibility, reliability, and trustworthiness as cornerstones of my dedication to excellence. About: What sets me apart is my deep, firsthand experience with feline care and behavior. I first started as a foster parent for a local animal shelter, which is how I met my two sweet cats. Raising them since they were tiny, vulnerable kittens taught me everything about specialized cat care—from reading subtle body language to managing strict feeding schedules and grooming. I also grew up with a spirited Terrier, so I’m highly comfortable with energetic dogs. I regularly pet-sit for my friends' fur babies, and I’m ready to provide a patient, loving, and detail-oriented environment for yours! I currently work, so my schedule is best suited for early morning and evening pet care. I love starting my day with an early walk or check-in, and I am completely free after work to provide dedicated care, feeding, and play. Because I maintain a consistent routine, your pets will always have a reliable and structured schedule with me! Since I only offer drop-in visits and house sitting, my priority is keeping your pets safe and comfortable in their own familiar environment. During each visit, I closely follow your specific instructions for feeding, fresh water, and litter box cleaning. I also make sure your home is completely secure before I leave. You can expect regular photo updates so you always have peace of mind knowing your fur babies and your home are in good hands!

Leta is a life saver for our family! We have two dogs, one is an 8 month old puppy and a 9 year old dachshund with mobility issues and she handles them both with love and care. We trust her implicitly and she treats our pets like they are family-thank you, Leta!

Joseph did a drop-in visit for my dog, Lobster, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. He was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about making sure Lobster was comfortable and well looked after. I appreciated the updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. Lobster seemed happy, relaxed, and well cared for when I got home, which says a lot. It's obvious that Joseph has a natural way with dogs and takes his responsibilities seriously. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter, and I would gladly book with him again.

Nicole did a fantastic job! She was friendly, communicative, and took great care of our newly adopted puppy. Nicole asked great questions and took directions well, and I feel so happy to know we can go out and have someone we can trust to give our puppy the love and care he needs! Would absolutely book again!

Wen was just amazing to work with during my family vacation! It was the first long vacation we’ve ever had because we worried about our fur babies. But after met Wen before booking, she was knowledgeable and professional for dog and cat. She send us lot of pictures and comments if needed and always arrived the time we were discussed. We will definitely ask her later to care our fur family! Thank you so much for your work and care. 🙏

We’re so grateful for the care and kindness Leonore showed our dogs while we were away. She was calm, patient, and communicative, and it gave us a lot of peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. We especially appreciated her willingness to help on such short notice. Thank you again for taking such good care of them!

Michelle is very sweet with our pups. She visited them twice last week and both times they were happy to see her. She arrived on time and took good care of them, sending us photos and updates during the visit. She’s attentive and follows our instructions well. We will definitely schedule more drop-in visits with Michelle.

Theresa is excellent! We arranged two drop-in visits to prepare for an overnight house sitting with our anxious dog. Theresa is punctual, professional and incredibly sweet. We felt completely comfortable leaving Stormy in her care for our first trip away. Highly recommend!

Haziza is the absolute best!!! My dog cheddar adores Haziza. She is always so punctual, communicative, friendly, and just overall a fantastic person to look after your furry little pal. We have rebooked Haziza again and again, and I can’t recommend her highly enough!
