Simply want to show dogs some love!
My love for dogs started the moment a stray wandered into my yard when I was a child - I hid him in the backyard for three days before my parents found out ! :) I’ve been caring for animals in various capacities for most of my life and have been part of the Rover community since 2022. As a PhD student who does Rover full-time, I have the flexibility to be available when needed. Whether it’s drop-ins, house-sitting, boarding, or walks, I’m happy to accommodate your schedule - including last-minute bookings. Your pet will always have my complete, undivided attention! I’ll always respect your home and routines, following your rules and adapting to whatever works best for your companion. I’ll treat your fur baby with the same love and care you would, and do everything I can to make them comfortable and at ease while you are away. A note to pet parents: If your pet has any special needs, allergies, medications, or specific conditions or triggers, please share them with me. The more I know, the better I can care for them! Can’t wait to meet you! 🐾

We reached out to Monique last minute to help us and she was a life saver! Our puppy loved her and we loved her for putting up with us! She was so accommodating especially because we had to have her watch our loud little guy in a hotel room while we went out. She eased his anxiety and ours and really allowed us to enjoy our mini vacation! Thank you!

We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! She was thoughtful, caring, and genuinely kind to our senior dog. It gave us such peace of mind knowing our dog was safe, loved, and receiving such attentive care while we were away. Monique shared pictures of our dog throughout the day which was so welcomed. She was on time, upbeat and engaged. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for pup, and we’re incredibly grateful. Monique was so wonderful with my cat! He warmed up to her immediately and every picture she sent showed him being sweet and cuddly with her (he doesn’t even do that with me!) Monique was also very respectful of my home, very consistent/reliable. Will definitely book again!

Schedule
I am currently a full-time PhD student working remotely. I typically have a few social events in the evening or weekends for a few hours. Otherwise I’m home and able to care for your furry one full time! :)

A typical day
Typically I’ll stick to the routine you provide. I love long morning and/or late evening walks to get fresh air and enjoy the outdoors. Indoor fetch is a classic, of course however, I also love a cuddle!
