Hi! I’m Elena, and I’ve never met a dog (or cat!) I didn’t like. Every pet is different, and I’m happy to oblige the unique (and at times pretty goofy) rules and rituals that make your pets feel safe and comfortable. The dogs I call family are a 3lb toy poodle who needs every meal pretend-microwaved and a hyper husky mix with a gymnast streak, so I absolutely get it! ⭐️ I have recent experience caring for and house training a puppy during his peak teething phase, so I’m familiar and comfortable with the routine, loads of patience, and constant vigilance that a puppy can require. My pup and I have also graduated from beginner and intermediate group training courses, covering important skills from sit/stay/down to heel/place/drop it and more. Years of caring for my own dogs and pet sitting for friends and neighbors has taught me that one of the most important parts of pet care is communication, both with people and pets. Animals have plenty to say in their own way if you take the time to listen, and I promise to listen to your pets’ needs as well as communicate openly with you throughout each visit. Whether you prefer a ton of photo updates or just a daily check-in, I’ll make it work! ⭐️ I’ve also volunteered with shelters and nonprofits to organize doggy day trips and help seniors with mobility challenges give their pets the active, fun-filled lives they deserve! I’ve worked with shy and reactive dogs, and I know how stressful a simple walk can sometimes be. I am here to bring empathy, patience, and lots of love to every interaction with the pets you call family!
