Growing up, my family had a big Newfoundland dog along with cats, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. Today, our home is still full of animals. We have a cockapoo, a bunny, and two guinea pigs, so caring for pets is truly part of my everyday routine. About: Hi! I'm a college student working toward vet school, so caring for animals isn't just a job for me, it’s what I genuinely love doing. I've had my own cat for 5 years, so I know what it's like to be a pet parent. I've also spent plenty of time watching other people’s dogs and cats, from very high energy puppies to older dogs who just want a quiet environment. I'm comfortable with all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. If something’s wrong I will reach out immediately. Since I'm on summer break, I have a pretty open schedule, but I do like to be upfront about my specific availability. I'm available Monday through Thursday anytime after 12:00 PM, all day Friday. On Saturdays, I'm available after 4:00 PM. I can also do evening visits, but I wrap things up by 10:00 PM. I know routines are really important to pets, so I'll work around whatever schedule your pet is used to, like midday walks, afternoon play sessions, or evening check-ins before bed. Consistency is very important! I only provide care in your home because I believe that pets are more comfortable in their own environment, with their own things and smells. I'm really careful with doors or any gates and will always make sure to double check every exit to make sure your pet stays safely inside. I will treat your home the way I'd want mine treated, I will clean up after myself, wash any bowls I use, and leave things tidy. I'll also send any updates/photos at every visit so you can see how things are going. I will also save your vet's contact info, just in case of any emergency. I always like to be prepared for anything.

About: I loved playing with my neighbors' dogs since I was a kid, and I got my first dog when I was a graduate student. I also rescued two small little dogs without a full moon and brought them up. I'm currently a postdoc at Mount Sinai. But my dogs are not around, I really miss the happy time surrounded by dogs, if you would like to let me play with your dog, that would be my honor. I'm available after 2pm on Friday and weekends. Please tell me in detail what good or bad habits your pet has and what I need to be aware of. It'll make it easier for me to take care of them, and it'll give us a pleasant memory❤️. My pet's diet is timed and rationed according to weight. Make sure he have fresh water to drink every day. Take him out for a walk every afternoon to make sure he gets enough exercise. At home, I play puzzle games with him so that he won't feel lonely.

“Amy is the most thorough, trustworthy, and reliable pet sitter I could imagine! I've never used Rover before and have a 7 month old kitten- Amy was incredible this last week for us, even through new years eve and new years day. She was so considerate and came before booking twice to meet peanut, once when we first booked and again a few weeks later before we left for our trip. She took pictures every day and sent it to us, which made my day. In the pictures I can tell my cat loves her and she came out when shes usually afraid of people. “Lee is an amazing dog sitter and walker -- over the course of almost 2 years we worked with Lee in NY as our primary sitter/walker. He was incredibly responsive via text, the app or otherwise. With walking he walked my Dane - Ryan 2-5 times a week and would flex to show up when I was often late at the office. Lee also stayed at my home with Ryan often - he was clean, respectful of the space an totally attentive to my pup. My roommate mentioned rarely noticing he had even been there. When Lee wasn't available he had friends on recommendation who were amazing and even went out of his way to hand off his set of keys to them. Lee became such a part of Ryan's life often he was more excited when Lee arrived than when I did! We've since moved to LA and will miss him greatly!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for practically all of my life. My family and friends would ask me to take care of or walk their pets and I’d always be there when they needed. I’m also used to taking care of puppies and kitties and enjoyed it no matter how tiring it may have been. My schedule right now is completely free other than going to school and so I’ll always have time to be able to walk a dog or take care of them. In my clients home if I’m pet sitting I’ll make sure I ask where their food is, where I take their water from and if there’s anything in their house that is specifically for their pet and remember that spot for future uses.

Room to explore and free hands for the oweners, trusting your dog off leash. I was told not to get a Shiba if thats what i wanted, yet here we are 1 year Shiba inu free roaming at my side. My skills are teaching basic commands and obedience. Learning a dogs triggers and drives help me understand the best way to teach and reward them. Beginner grooming skills my shiba doesn’t like water so my bathing experiences is no better. Currently available Weekdays 10am-11pm Weekends 12pm-12am Currently walking my shiba along with my cousins shelty in the mornings. If your dog needs individual walks please let me know. My dog is crate trained, he sleeps in my bed for the most part.I give him the freedom to go in and out of his crate as he pleases. Some say he’s a spoiled dog, i just believe in trusting my dog it helps me learn him faster . We live in an area full of friendly dogs. Abbot blvd is where we go for most of our long walks and play dates. Fort lee dog park is only a 15 min walk from the house so we spend a-lot of our time outside. He’s been on a raw diet for 4 months now but slowly winging him back into kibbles until he’s 2 years old.

About: Growing up, there was always some sort of pet at home, more often than not a dog. I ended my dog-less drought when I dog-sat for a coworker. At the time I thought I was doing her a favor, instead, she reminded me how much I missed having a dog at home. Since then I've been dog sitting for friends, coworkers and fellow New Yorkers. I share my spacious 2-bedroom, Washington Heights apt, with a friendly 2 year old Frenchie, and several aquatic friends. Your dog(s) will feel right at home because they will be home. No place is off limits, except maybe the trash. I have experience with small to XL dogs and don't discriminate based off of breed type. I can even accommodate (on a case by case basis) dogs with aggressive tendencies. Age is not an issue, have experience with puppies to senior pup, can also accommodate special needs on case by case as well. References are available, as well as daily updates (text, facetime, skype). Don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions. I'm excited to open my home to your furry one. I work from home and so i have plenty of time and attention to give to your pet. My schedules is pretty flexible as well. We can discuss any special requirements that you may have with any preferences that you may have to make you most comfortable with the stay.

About: I’ve always had dogs and cats in my life. Most recently, my partner and I expanded our family with two kitties, Gio & Jojo. During grad school, I also worked as a professional dog walker, walking 4-6 dogs on- and off-leash on hikes around local parks, and I generally averaged about 9-12 hikes per week. (I’ll keep yours on leash unless you and I are both comfortable letting your pup off leash in less-trafficed areas). I also dog sat for many of those clients, as well as several clients here. I work from home with a very flexible schedule, so I have plenty of availability to leave the house during the day and evening for walks and drop-ins. I may just have to work around some meetings. My partner Zachary is a grad student with a flexible schedule who also helps out with the pet sitting! I can accommodate to whatever type of living space the pet is in. I will make sure they are given their food and water and medication if needed on schedule, they get out all of their energy during walks and playtime, their bathroom needs are taken care of, and any potential mess is cleaned up. I’ll also make sure your cat or dogs gets all the pets and cuddles they want!

About: I have an 18-year-old senior pup who is still as active and playful as when he was a puppy, and I have been his main caretaker since we adopted him when I was 10-years-old, so I have plenty of experience caring for dogs and prioritize keeping safe and happy! We also had other dogs growing up, so I am used to caring for multiple dogs, dogs of various ages and sizes, and dogs of all energy levels. Specifically, as my doggo has aged, I have a lot of experience with medicine routines, slower walks, attention to health details, and all other requirements of caring for senior dogs. In college, I would housesit for families with all kinds of pets (including rabbits, geese and chickens!) and this helped me pay part of my school costs. However, I enjoyed caring for other's pets so much, I have continued to do so for years after college! I love getting to know new furry friends and making sure they are happy, exercised, well-fed, and enjoying themselves while their parents are away! I am currently working part-time, and often only for a few hours in the evening, so I have lots of time and flexibility to care for you pup, prioritizing being available for prime walking hours in the sunshine! I am willing to work around my part-time hours to meet your dog's routine needs. I am willing to care for the dogs in your home so they are comfortable in their own spaces and can generally keep their normal routines. I am flexible and willing to follow any instructions about your space that you provide.

About: As a pet parent for most of my life, I’m passionate about all different animals. While I am a self-proclaimed dog person, I love all pets and consider them family. Because of this, I believe in treating your pets as if they were my own! I have owned dogs for most of my life and have extensive experience in dog care, such as walking, feeding, bathing, and playing. I have helped family members and friends with different services whenever needed, and truly have a passion for spending time with animals. I’m comfortable with dogs of any size, and believe every dog deserves kindness regardless of breed. I have taken care of cats before and am also very comfortable with them! I’m comfortable standing, walking, and playing for long amounts of time, as some pets require more energy and attention than others. I’m also very detail-orientated and will follow any instructions as listed by the client, such as for feeding and bathing. I truly enjoy spending time with pets and take pride in carefully caring for them ❤️. My schedule is very flexible, meaning I have time for different pet services throughout the week. I am available most days, and am a stickler for scheduling and being punctual, meaning you never have to worry about mix-ups or last-minute cancellations. My calendar is always freshly updated so that you may know if I’m ever unavailable! I can take care of any pet in a client’s home provided that the client has necessary items, such as food, toys, and a bed/crate. I’ve taken care of pets with both strict and flexible routines, and am comfortable following a schedule or being spontaneous and taking care of a let’s needs as they arise. I’m also comfortable with administering oral medication, as I have experience doing this with my own dog.
