About: My love for dogs started the moment a stray wandered into my yard when I was a child - I hid him in the backyard for three days before my parents found out ! :) I’ve been caring for animals in various capacities for most of my life and have been part of the Rover community since 2022. About: i've always been an avid animal lover, but it wasn't until i was about 12 years old when i was finally allowed to adopt my first dog, a doberman. it was then that i realized just how healing and special the unconditional love of a dog can really be. since then, i've gained much more experience with all types of dogs varying in size, energy level, and reactivity. neighbors and friends have relied on me for years to play, walk, and watch their animals when they weren't able. i'm full time with animal care so have an incredibly flexible availability and am happy to schedule last minute bookings! i love to be outside and to craft (crochet mostly) so there is a lot of opportunity for play time and/or cuddles depending on the dogs wants and needs. i live next to a really nice dog run and riverside park so plenty of outdoor activity near by. i have a beagle baby who is very chill, has plenty of toys to share (and couch space), and loves to make new friends!

About: I have personally trained my dog when I was 13 when he was a puppy. I often care for friends and family’s pets when they need a caretaker so I have a lot of experience. I know that our sweet animals are part of our families, and I treat them as such: lots of eye contact, love, cuddles, and attention. I'm a pet-whisperer, and can not only converse with dogs and cats when they're in a good mood, but can also calm them down in moments of stress or anxiety. I've raised two dogs from puppies and three cats from kittens throughout my life, as well as taken care of multiple friends' pets while they were away. About: I can't remember a time when I did not have a pet in my life. Probably because there never was such a time! Mostly dogs, but, I have also been a proud cat owner. I have cared for friends' pets, and I understand that leaving your fur baby with someone requires trust. For several decades, I have chosen to adopt my animals from shelters. I can tell you that it has taught me to appreciate that every animal is different, with their own personality, quirks, routines, and needs. Our pets are part of our family. And, yes, they make mistakes at times, create messes, get into places they shouldn't. They're only human, after all! I am available to walk your dog(s) and will be sure to take then on walks as long or short as you recommend, up to 40 minutes. I can stay and play with your pet for a while, as well. I will come to your home and am available for short overnight stays, if needed. Overnight stays will fall between 8:00 PM and 8:00 AM. I am available weekdays, evenings, and weekends. I will work within your boundaries. You know your pet best, so tell me what they need, whether that's a long walk, extra water after play, specific treats at specific times, or simply making sure they’re comfortable in their crate or free to roam. About: I grew up with a dog and a Parrot. I’m a big pet person. When I lived back East my friends would depend on me to make sure there dogs were taken care of while out of town. Not only would I walk, feed, and play with these angels but would bath and often take them to get groomed. I currently have an open schedule. When I do work I have very flexible days so am able to accommodate pets needs throughout the day. When pets are in my home I allow free roam of the place( unless instructed otherwise). When I’m not home I will crate pet. If I’m in a clients home I strictly follow whatever guidelines they have set.
