About: I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Whether it was at my grandmothers house or down the street at the neighbors, I have always been the first one my loved ones call to feed, walk, and cuddle dogs, cats, and any other pet under the sun. I have been around animals my entire life, starting with frequently visiting & caring for my brothers dog when I was just 10 years old. I began pet sitting in middle school, and then this passion grew into my summers at college. I often watch my friends pets in the city when they’re away on trips & am now looking to expand my animal-loving world through Rover. I enjoy taking long walks through the parks, playing outside in the grass, discovering new games, balancing exercise with rest & treats, bathing & lots + lots of cuddles :) Currently I am working part time & remotely, so I have super open + flexible availability! About: I recently said goodbye to my 18-year-old senior pup who was still as active and playful as when he was a puppy, even in his last weeks with us. I was his main caretaker since we adopted him when I was 10-years-old, so I have plenty of experience caring for dogs and prioritize keeping them safe and happy! We also had other dogs growing up, so I am used to caring for multiple dogs, dogs of various ages and sizes, and dogs of all energy levels. Specifically, as my doggo aged, I gained a lot of experience with medicine routines, slower walks, attention to health details, and all other requirements of caring for senior dogs. In college, I would housesit for families with all kinds of pets (including rabbits, geese and chickens!) and this helped me pay part of my school costs. However, I enjoyed caring for other's pets so much, I have continued to do so for years after college! I love getting to know new furry friends and making sure they are happy, exercised, well-fed, and enjoying themselves while their parents are away! I am currently working part-time, and often only for a few hours in the evening, so I have lots of time and flexibility to care for you pup, prioritizing being available for prime walking hours in the sunshine! I am willing to care for the dogs in your home so they are comfortable in their own spaces and can generally keep their normal routines. I am flexible and willing to follow any instructions about your space that you provide.

We currently have a dog who is very calm and friendly. Her name is Noodle. She is a 35lb rescue Sato dog from Puerto Rico. We will do a brief meet and greet before booking to see how your dog goes along with Noodle. For boarding I'm not accepting new customers right now. If you would like to book boarding we could do a daycare first. If everything goes well we could go ahead and book boarding. Also for everyone's safety and health, I kindly ask that all guest dogs please be neutered or spayed, update on all vaccines and physical exams, and on flea/tick prevention. I could also send Noodle's records to you upon request. I send a lot of pictures especially on the first day your dog is with me, so you know how they are adjusting. Please feel free to let me know if you want less or more pictures. (And please just enjoy the pictures and don't feel obligated to respond 😄) I stay home all day. My husband and our two high school human kids are all animal lovers and experienced caregivers. So occasionally if I need to step out for some errands they can stay with the dogs. Our dog Noodle is 7 years old, very calm and friendly. Your dog will have a lot of love and fun here. I will treat your home the way I'd want mine treated, I will clean up after myself, wash any bowls I use, and leave things tidy. I'll also send any updates/photos at every visit so you can see how things are going. I will also save your vet's contact info, just in case of any emergency. I always like to be prepared for anything.

Daisy has a friend! Ariadne G. was INCREDIBLE with our 8 pound little floof. Caring, loving, with a gentle willingness and openness to learning Daisy’s routines and quirky needs. Daisy, who can be shy and hide and look sad and flumped, or can be barky and anxious with others when we are away, was her free spirited, playful, and silly self under Ari’s care. Daisy ate well, showed Ari all of her tricks, and played toys. We were so happy with the daily reports and pictures of Daisy enjoying Ari’s company.
Wow, I just realized it’s been a full year of Kristal coming 1-2 times weekly (most weeks) for a midday bathroom & play break for my two German Shepherd boys. This second review is long overdue. My boys love their time with Kristal! Kristal is the kind of Rover sitter you always hope to find - super responsive and communicative, flexible, accommodating, reliable, consistent, and a genuinely kind and good person who loves animals. Above that she has a beautiful friendship with my boys and makes sure her time with them is spent giving them the most fun, enriching and happy midday breaks. Her reports are always thorough, sweet/funny, and show how intentional she is when caring for the boys. Her pictures are awesome, she’s a very talented animal photographer and I now have a whole plethora of the cutest images of my fur babies. Such a gift! My dog absolutely loves him—he wags his tail and gets just as excited to see Victor as he does to see me, which says everything. Victor is also very reliable. He doesn’t just stick to the exact booked time or show up late like others. He often arrives a few minutes early and sometimes stays a little longer, which I really appreciate. It shows how genuine and dedicated he is. I also have a camera at home, since my dog can’t tell me about his day—and it’s clear that Victor treats him with care and attention. That gives me a lot of peace of mind. He will definitely be my to-go dog sitter moving forward!
Kathryn is just incredible! She is thorough and knowledgeable. She is very sweet and loving with my baby girl, and my dog took to her immediately. She is always met with tail wags and wiggles. Kathryn is the best person to look after your fur baby, she treats my girl with so much love and kindness!
Rachel is an amazing sitter, she braved the elements through this snowstorm to take care of Petey and I couldn’t be more grateful. She also takes the initiative to determine what Petey needs and will walk him more than once if necessary. She lets me know that she cleaned Petey’s bowls before feeding and giving him fresh water, things that are important to me, I feel better knowing that someone is giving him the same care I would. I’m thankful to have Rachel as a person I can contact when I need help with Petey.
Philsung went above and beyond to take care of Petey. During this snowstorm, he walked the rest of the way to my apartment when his car got stuck. When you’re not able to be there with your dog, it’s a terrible feeling, I was so worried Philsung would not be able to make it there but he did. That’s reliability and dedication and a true love for animals. He is an excellent sitter.
