“When I had to start to go back to work in the office more, my doggy was so sad so I decided if I got out more then she should too! Jimmy has been walking her every week for a while now and it is the highlight to her week. She is so excited when he comes to take her for her walk! I am so grateful for the extra help and for my doggy to have a fun friend to take her on walks while I am stuck in the office! :)”

About: I have raised and taken care of Dogs of all ages and breeds since i was very young. I understand that every dog/ breed is unique and requires personalized care, so i strive to take care of each fur baby in a way that caters to their demeanor and personality! Pet care brings me so much joy and fulfillment, so every job will be taken very seriously. I am currently in between jobs (as an actress) so i have plenty of time to work with and watch your pets! Your furbabies are my priority, so my schedule would be formed around them :) I have an apartment with lots of space and no dangerous furniture. My roommate also specializes in pet care, so there would be another dog friendly present in the home. Her pet care jobs wouldn’t interfere with my own unless specified. The area where i live is very safe and there are lots of nice places to walk!

Chanie G.
“Zippy, my Pitbull, absolutely loves walking with Chanie. His tail is always wagging when he sees her and he adores every moment they spend together. Chanie's presence brings pure joy to Zippy, making their walks the highlight of his day. I'm incredibly thankful to have found a walker who connects with Zippy on such a deep level, making his outings truly delightful experiences.”

Sherree B.

“Sherree is fantastic with Beans. Can't say enough.”

Bridget R.

“This is my second time working with Bridget and we’re so happy we found her on Rover. Scheduling was a bit interesting this time because my life was going into labor this week, so when I reached out to Bridget I didn’t have set dates/times. Bridget was extremely flexible and shared all of her availability so we can play it by ear. Once we confirmed, it was a breeze. Our dog red loves Bridget and coordinating our walks was seamless. We were able to enjoy our special moment with our new baby knowing red was in good hands and we didn’t have to worry about her walks. Will absolutely hire Bridget again and you should too!”

Jonathan L.
“Jonathan is a great dog walker, and we couldn't be more grateful. He’s patience, careful and attention made all the difference for our reactive pup. He goes above and beyond, always equipped with treats to reinforce positive behavior and avoiding m situations to ensure our dog's safety. Jonathan's dedication to pup’s well-being is evident because he’s always excited to see him and we trust him completely with our dog.”

Nolan Q.
About: I grew up in a pet-loving family. I have a cat back home and a dog that is mostly my mothers but enjoy playing and caring for him as well. Since I was young, my family has helped nurse, care for, and even adopted many animals. I am very comfortable feeding, nursing, bathing, playing with, and spending time with cats and dogs. I just moved to NYC and I had to make the difficult decision to ask my family to care for my cat while I was away, so caring for animals here will be much more than a job. It will be animal therapy. I currently have a part-time job that allows for much availability during the day and in the night-time. I am also searching for reasons to be in the sun more and experience new areas of town. I am a very clean and careful person. I can't feel comfortable unless my space is clean. I have so much respect for other people's spaces as well because I just treat homes how I would want someone to treat my home.

“Rebecca is a sweet, gentle, and loving cat sitter. She has always taken great care of my kitty when I've been away, can't recommend highly enough!!”

Lucia L.
“I highly recommend Lucia as she has done an amazing job time after time with my French Bulldog. French Bulldogs can be high maintenance and she followed all of my instructions accordingly, sent me pictures to keep me updated, and gave him all the love and attention. Lucia has taken care of him over 10 times and having someone you can trust this much helps relieve all the stress from leaving your pet behind when traveling.”

Andrea M.

“Andrea was wonderful! She clearly loves animals and was great about communicating, which was very reassuring to me. I would recommend her to anyone.”

Chloe K.
“Chloe has fostered many dogs and been great with animals! You can tell that she truly loves dogs. She has taken care of my Shiba Inu so well every time we go on a vacation. She sent me pictures during my vacation and my Shiba Inu loves going to her house.”

Charles S.
“Charles is one of a kind because he treats pets and animals in general with tenderness. If he is given a chance to be a part of Rover’s community of pet care givers, he will for sure treat pets as if they were his own as he did with mine. Charles also has gravity, he always comes with this calmness that will make your dog feel safe and because of that they will adore him as my dogs do. Whenever I have to go on trips, I feel very safe knowing that I am leaving my pet with the best substitute parent who gives the same care and attention as I would and nothing means more to me than knowing that my pets adore him too and love having him as a companion. Charles has only ever done this for me as a favor and seeing him interact with my dogs with the same fun energy and care as he did the first day, lets me know that pet caregiving is NOT a business to him. It is his big big heart, that he simply has to share with our fur-babies.”
