Growing up, there was always some sort of pet at home, more often than not a dog. I ended my dog-less drought when I dog-sat for a coworker. At the time I thought I was doing her a favor, instead, she reminded me how much I missed having a dog at home. Since then I've been dog sitting for friends, coworkers and fellow New Yorkers. I share my spacious 2-bedroom, Washington Heights apt, with a friendly 2 year old Frenchie, and several aquatic friends. Your dog(s) will feel right at home because they will be home. No place is off limits, except maybe the trash. I have experience with small to XL dogs and don't discriminate based off of breed type. I can even accommodate (on a case by case basis) dogs with aggressive tendencies. Age is not an issue, have experience with puppies to senior pup, can also accommodate special needs on case by case as well. References are available, as well as daily updates (text, facetime, skype). Don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions. I'm excited to open my home to your furry one.

Jonathan was great with Ollie and was really responsive with a last minute booking to help us out! Ollie was comfortable enough to cuddle up for a nap. Really enjoyed all the pictures. We will definitely have him over again!
The photos we get of our dog Vini’s stay speaks for itself- he’s comfortable and enjoys his time with Jonathan. As dog parents, that’s the most important thing. You will receive regular updates throughout the stay and all instructions of care will be followed.
We are pleasantly surprised by how quickly our dog has taken to Jonathan. After only being with him a few times, our dog leads the way to his building door as we get closer signifying that he’s comfortable and wants to stay with Jonathan. We know we are leaving our guy in good hands.

We were incredibly impressed with the care Jonathan provided throughout the week. Our dog is a rescue and tends to be shy around new people, especially men. With an early morning drop-off, we were amazed to see photos by that afternoon of our dog happily settled on the couch with Jonathan. We also received photos showing interactions between our dog and Jonathan’s two dogs, and the relaxed body language in those moments spoke volumes. It was clear that Jonathan’s patience and understanding allowed trust to form in a very short time. The updates continued daily, each one showing our dog becoming more comfortable and connected. We only have glowing things to say about the care Jonathan provided, and we highly recommend him—especially for dogs that may need extra time and patience to warm up to new people.

I work from home and so i have plenty of time and attention to give to your pet. My schedules is pretty flexible as well.
