We had an intro meeting ahead of our planned visits, and after that we had an unexpected change of plans and he was able to accommodate a different schedule on short notice. He was on time, responsive, and dependable. He played with the cat, fed him, changed his water, and cleaned his litterbox. Erick also went above and beyond, ie he brought in packages left on the porch and pulled in the trash container from the curb after the weekly pickup. Highly recommended.”

About: English/Japanese bilingual I love dogs. Mine lived to 19 and I miss her so much. I would love to help you care for yours! When I'm with your dog, I'm fully present, calm and patient. I'm attentive to what they need and notice the little things: when they seem anxious, when they need a slower pace, when they just want to sit close to someone or need their space. I won't just look after your dog — I will try my best to tune into what they're feeling and respond to it. I'm new to Rover and have cared for my own dogs rather than many, but I am communicative, responsive, and open to feedback. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns! I am currently between jobs and have a pretty flexible schedule, but prefer to work weekdays - as long as I know ahead of time, I can work around yours. I will be respectful of your space, attentive to your pet's needs, and mindful of any notes you share with me ahead of time.

About: Hi! I’m Catalina, and caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. My dad and I used to take care of dogs together for years, and now that he’s stepped away from Rover, I’m continuing the work we both loved. I’ve grown up surrounded by animals of all kinds. I’ve handled everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs, I’ve cared for all types of animals, dogs, cats, small pets, and have hands-on experience with pregnant dogs, newborn puppies, and even helping deliver a litter. At home, I have a sweet female pug who is friendly with everyone, and a shy, gentle cat who keeps her space. My class schedule is Tuesdays (11 AM–5 PM), Wednesdays (1 PM–5 PM), and Thursdays (3 PM–5 PM). I’m available before and after class times and have flexible availability on other days! I always follow instructions exactly, keep communication open, and send lots of photos and updates so you feel at ease. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, happy, and loved just like they are at home. Even with my class schedule, pet care is an important part of my routine. I organize my day to make sure pets receive regular walks, feeding times, playtime, and lots of attention. Before and after classes, I’m fully available to give pets the care and companionship they need. Under my care, pets receive constant attention and structure. I create a calm, clean environment where each pet has space to relax and feel secure. I stick to their feeding and walk schedule, monitor their behavior throughout the day, and offer plenty of playtime and breaks. I also keep communication open with owners and send frequent updates. Safety, routine, and comfort are always my top priorities.

About: Since I could remember my household was full of animals from dogs, cats, bunnies, and more. I love all types of animals but dogs are my sweet spot. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and truly can’t imagine life without them. As a lifelong dog lover, I care for every pup as if they were my own. I just moved back home from Nashville, TN. Where I was consistently dog sitting in my apartment for the 4 1/2 years living there. Previously before that, I was doing it in my Hoboken apartment for 3 years. We do have a family dog, a border collie / blue heeler, Luna who is 11 years old. She is used to being around other dogs, as we previously had a husky lab as well before she passed away. Luna tends to keep to herself and only cares about her frisbee. For everyone’s comfort, I typically board dogs that aren’t excessive barkers. I have extensive experience caring for dogs with special needs, including blind, deaf, and diabetic dogs and also senior dogs. I’m comfortable administering medication (including daily insulin injections) and even handling tasks like diaper/band changes. Many of the dogs I’ve cared for have anxiety or don’t do well around other dogs, so I’m very experienced in creating a calm and safe environment for them. A quick note: Rover takes a percentage of my earnings, and my rates are set with that in mind. Also, most people I meet through Rover end up booking with me directly afterward, so my repeat clients listed on the app aren’t an accurate reflection of my true base of returning families. After work and before dinner, we go out for another walk, and then I always do a shorter one right before bedtime. On days I don’t work, I like to take longer mid-morning walks or head to the dog park (with your permission). I love spending time outdoors, so your dog will get plenty of exercise and fresh air—especially on nice days. Of course, if your pup prefers naps and cuddles over constant activity, I’m just as happy to make that part of our day too :) I typically host dogs at my place, where they can feel right at home. Pups are welcome on the bed, and I make sure they have a cozy, comfortable environment to relax in. To help them feel calm and secure, I often play soothing dog-anxiety music, and I also use a puppy camera so I can keep an eye on them at all times. During their stay, they’ll get plenty of love, attention, and cuddles.

About: I walk dogs and pet-sit. I’ve done so for family and friends for years, and have experience with dogs and cats. I ensure that each pet is cared for, safe, and happy. I’m available from 3-11 pm for pet-sitting, and available from 3-8 p.m. for dog walking. I’m available any time from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on the weekends for pet-sitting and dog walking I will play with your pet, re-fill water and food dishes, and follow any special care instructions. With that being said, I make it my business to provide the most reassurance to You and your baby that there will be nothing but love and cuddles while you’re away. All pups will go on 3-4 walks a day. More walk can be requested. About: Hi my name is Layla I am a full time college student that works part time as a CSR at a veterinary clinic. I have experience as a vet assistant and volunteer work with rescues. I also own a shihpooh of my own name Gio. I’m currently working part time and am a full time student. My school schedule is mainly asynchronous classes and my work schedule is pretty set so, I have a lot of flexibility time to be able to care for your babies. I have a crate in my home that my dog is very comfortable in we have crate trained him to love his crate. In the clients home I reiterate training that they are doing with their pet and go off of body language of their pet to make them as comfortable as possible.
