“Chenelle was very good with our dog and would send us videos and pictures throughout the day, so we were constantly updated. We would use her again!”

“Pete is one of the best dog sitters I've ever worked with. He's very much a dog person and had an intuitive sense for how my dog Bandit was doing. He was very effective in taking care of Bandits' needs including some special medical foods and procedures required. And he's flexible -- he was able to also take care of my daughter's dog Brandy for some of the time while he was also taking care of Bandit. He also is an effective communicator and regularly sent us texts and pictures, as well as knowing when to ask questions if there might be a problem that arose. He's just very good. I highly recommend Pete (although please don't hire him when I need him). Thanks.”

“Stephanie stayed with our baby girl Zoe for the second time and we were just as happy as the first time. She is easy to deal with, confident, calm, and kind to our Zoe. And on top of taking good care of Zoe, she also left the house spotless. Definitely use Stephanie!”

“Wendy was easy to work with and communicate with. Our dog immediately liked her and we felt same and comfortable knowing she was well taken care of.”

“Sierra stayed at my apartment in the BX to watch my 45lb rescue pittie for three weeks in May, and I highly recommend her! She was responsive and so generous coming all the way from NJ to meet my pup and me first and incredibly responsive before the day of. Every day she sent me text and/photo updates, and it was super clear my pup was very well cared for and loved. Coming back, pup was happy and healthy and the apartment was clean as I left it (thanks, Sierra!).”

“I was so nervous about leaving our dog. My hunting partner. After I met yvette that all went away. She cared for my Izzy like she was hers . Long walks and lots of attention. Def use yvette. I will be again soon.”

“Alexandra was just wonderful. She understood my cats and gave the best of care. She sent me pictures daily accompanied by funny tidbits about them. She stayed in my home for two weeks and when she left it looked exactly as it was when she arrived. I was so grateful for her superb care and kindness. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.”

“Just got home from vacation and our dogs were so well taken care of by Manny! They adored him, he sent us texts daily, and he was so respectful of our home (this was in home dog sitting). Highly recommend Manny!”

About: I’ve been looking after dogs of all sizes since I was 12. I love spending time with animals big and small, they’re my number one priority I am currently in between jobs so I have plenty of free time to spend with your pup. I’m based in Manhattan and can generally start work around ten AM. I always strive to leave my clients homes in a nicer state than when I got there. I’m very attentive to feeding times and or medication needs. I love to play with pets, so they’ll never be bored

“My dog Demi is an older girl and requires a little extra care given her age and Chelsea was great with meeting her needs! Chelsea updated me regularly and was respectful of my home and kept my space neat. I would definitely recommend”

“Jalisa has house sat several times for my 3-4 dogs and I highly recommend her. She is dependable, thorough, enthusiastic and I swear the house is always cleaner than it was before I left!!! Oh, and the dogs love her too!”

About: I’ve spent years caring for dogs throughout my family—from energetic puppies to calm senior dogs. I’ve helped with daily walks, feedings, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. I’m comfortable with different breeds and temperaments, and I treat every dog with the same love and attention I would if they were mine I’m originally from here but spent most of my life in Las Vegas, and I’ve recently moved back as an adult. Since I’m still getting settled in, I have a very open and flexible schedule—perfect for giving your pet the attention and care they deserve. Whether it’s regular walks, playtime, or just company while you're away, I’m available and ready to help I try to make things as stress-free and comfortable as possible for them. I follow your instructions closely, from feeding routines to favorite toys and walk times. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and try to keep things just the way you left them. If your pet is staying with me, I make sure they feel at ease with a calm, cozy environment and lots of love and attention.

“Very kind, friendly & responsible. I felt comfortable leaving my blind older dog with her. She sent photos & kept us updated too. I will def be using her again 🎀🐶🎀”

“Libby watched Aura for the first time and did such a great job! She handled all of Aura’s quirks (nervousness going outside and some resource guarding) like a champ. Libby was responsible (both with taking care of aura and while staying at my apartment), communicative (kept me in the loop but didn’t inundate me with updates, which I’d specifically requested), and easy to work with (made sure we had a thorough meet and greet beforehand). The first day out of town with a new sitter is always the most nerve wracking but within just a few hours, I knew Libby had it covered! I was able to have a stress-free vacation and didn’t need to worry. So grateful to find her on rover and definitely will be booking again! Thank you!”

About: I love my pets and would do anything for them. They’re not just animals to me—they’re like family. Taking care of them, playing with them, and making sure they’re happy is one of the best parts of my day. I have a bunny and a guinea pig, and I truly love taking care of them. I’m experienced in providing attentive, gentle care and understand the importance of meeting each pet’s unique needs. I treat pets like family and am committed to keeping them happy, safe, and comfortable. When caring for pets in other people’s homes, I always follow the owner’s instructions closely to make sure their pets get exactly what they need. I treat their home with respect by keeping things clean and following any house rules. I spend quality time playing with and caring for the pets so they feel comfortable and happy. I also keep the owner updated with regular messages and photos, and if I notice anything unusual, I contact them right away. My goal is to make sure the pets are safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away.

About: I’ve taken care of big dogs such as golden retrievers and golden doodles since I could walk, since we used to always have a dog at home. Since then, I have helped friends take care of their dogs, from big to small, puppies to seniors. I love animals and would love to help fellow pet owners out whenever they need! I’m currently working full days only twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This allows me to keep my Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays open, as well as some weekends. While I do have a fenced back yard, I have a pool that would make it less likely for playtime in the yard. That being said, there are multiple open parks near by and I love to walk with dogs or play with them at the park. My home is spacious inside, so pets will have freedom to roam around. I am also happy to set up a crate for a pet, provided by the pet owner.

About: As a dog mom to 2 rescues, and dog aunt to 3 lovely nephews, I have years of experience caring for our furry family. I've trained puppies, dog sat, and cared for other dogs like they were my own. I've also cared for dogs with a range in behavior, whether calm and chill, or a bit more temperamental and needing more patience. I understand that your pet is your family and treat any dog under my care like my own! I work from home during the week. This makes my schedule relatively flexible, so if there are any weekdays not listed you would need, message me and I can try and accommodate. If dogsitting, I simply adhere to whatever rules and routines you have for your pet, as I respect that each owner already has their own routine best for their dog. My backyard is spacious and fenced in, and our dogs enjoy getting to explore it. When the weather is nice, we enjoy longer walks in the neighborhood.

“Karen is the best- very reliable and such a good caretaker! She followed all of our directions (which included medications), sent lots of updates/photos, and kept our home nice & tidy. Highly recommend her for your dog sitting needs.”
