About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 10 when I got my dog. I joined Rover 3 years ago and have experience walking, feeding, playing with, and caring for various types of dogs. About: I started my experience dog walking 2 years ago for a professor’s friend in Winchester, Virginia. Twice a week, I would walk her hyper pups. She then recommended me to her father, whose dog I began walking twice a week as well. From there, my mini business boomed through word of mouth. I began dog sitting in people’s homes as well for multiple individuals for varying time spans. Most of the dogs I interacted with were seniors and required extensive care. However, all dogs owners loved and recommended me to others! I still walk the original dogs and add in others as my schedule allows with two other jobs. I am sad to leave my extensive clientele in Winchester, but I am moving back to New Jersey for graduate school and excited to meet new puppy friends!! For the summertime, I am incredibly flexible with nothing planned. I prefer weekly walks / drop ins, but also like sitting as well. In August, I start physical therapy school at Columbia University so my availability will decrease but I’d be willing to provide services on nights / weekends. During breaks, my availability will open up again! Whenever walking / sitting, I respect the owner’s rules, no matter what. We have 2 German Shepards one working line and young that has a lot of energy and 6 year old large showline male who needs a moment to settle before being introduced. We also have a 15 yr old cat and she was great at spending quality time with him as well. She is an excellent communicator, gets back to you promptly, took amazing care of our home while we were out. Sadyn stayed with our dog and cat for 3 days and nights. She was extremely conscientious and willing to do above and beyond the call of duty(water plants for example)..The house was in perfect condition when we got back and both pets seemed very relaxed and well taken care of.
