“I highly recommend CeeCee for your pet and home sitting needs. We hired her to look after our overly affectionate cat and our quirky pit-mix pup while out of town for 6 days. CeeCee was communicative, sent pictures, and took care of needs as requested, including watering plants. She kept the house tidy, even throwing in a load of wash at the end of her stay. We will definitely be repeat customers for future pet sitting needs.”

“AMAZING sitter! He took great care of my cat, and checked in every day with pictures and updates. Clifmon left my house cleaner than when I had left, and I felt very confident with them taking care of my house and my cat during a trip out of state over thanksgiving. HIGHLY recommend Clifmon to anyone who wants a caring, compassionate, reliable sitter!”

“We are so grateful for the amazing care Alexandra gave our pets over Thanksgiving! She stayed in our home for a full week to look after our Rottie, Mini Schnauzer, and kitty, and she truly went above and beyond. She even checked in to ask if she could give them a little turkey on the holiday ~ which they were very excited about! Alexandra sent us pictures throughout our trip, giving us so much peace of mind, and we returned to three happy, relaxed animals. She also left our home clean and well cared for, which we deeply appreciated after traveling. We were extremely pleased with her service and will definitely be using her again in the future. Highly recommend! She also left our home clean and well cared for, which we deeply appreciated after a long trip. We were extremely pleased with her service and will definitely be using her again in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Marin is a six-star sitter. She did a wonderful job with my cats, shared detailed updates and tons of photos, and took great care of my space. For example, Marin: - swept up after the cats and did all their dishes - kept their litter spotless - brought in my mail and a package - played with my (very lazy) cats for hours - won them over with treats, despite the unforgivable crime of smelling like another cat - not only fed our local stray, but checked to confirm what kind of food she preferred I know 5 stars is standard these days, but Marin is a true gem. The cats and I highly recommend her!”

“Peter is such a well-spoken, considerate, and accommodating young man. My dog immediately fell in love with him, and Peter offered the care I would've given if I were home-- and then some! Peter not only offers exemplary pet care, but also conducts himself in an organized and cleanly matter. You can be confident that he will keep your house in pristine condition. I didn't ask him to, but he vacuumed, took out the trash, and cleaned the dogs' water and food bowl. I would recommend Peter to anyone with pet needs because you can tell he cares about the work that he does. His rates are fair, he is open to negotiate, and you can count on him to respond. Peter has set the bar for pet care, and pet owners should never have to expect any less. He sends consistent updates, and spends quality time with your pet. Without a doubt, I will be booking with him in the future!”

“Tatiana was wonderful with our puppy! She was caring, playful, and very knowledgeable. She not only followed all of our requests but also went above and beyond with her own thoughtful touches. We felt completely at ease knowing our pup was in her hands”

About: Hello! Besides having four cats and two large dogs growing up, and being the primary pet sitter for several friends and colleagues over the past ten years, I have been the primary caregiver/parent to two dogs. One, Greta, I raised from puppyhood; the other, Honey, I adopted at 12 and cared for in the final years of her life. Both of these dogs experienced medical complications: Greta was adopted with heartworm, which was cured after a strict regimen, and Honey experienced kidney failure in her old age, for which I gave her daily IVs for nearly a year. Both dogs came to me with behavioral problems, including dog aggression and separation anxiety. I was able to care for both dogs and keep them safe, and am experienced with pets with medical needs. I am experienced as a pet owner and caregiver, and will follow your instructions carefully and check in often. I work from home and would love to do so with your beloved pet by my side, where I can give them lots of pets, walks, and cuddles. I hope I get to meet your pet soon! I work from home 4/5 days a week, though I can usually work from home an entire week if needed. I will check in with your pet’s schedule, and let you know if I am able to meet their needs. As a general rule, I never leave a pet alone for more than 6 hours, but I am flexible according to your pet’s specific needs. I always leave a home I am visiting clean, and am happy to do what I can to make sure you are comfortable with me in your home. I am a lifelong New Yorker and can navigate trains and buses to your home easily. I may have access to a car shortly, if you live somewhere inaccessible by train. In my home, I keep food unreachable to pets wherever possible and have pet beds available for their use. I do not have any pets in my home at the moment. I live right next to one of the largest parks in New York City, and am happy to take your pet for walks, or even to the dog park nearby if they are comfortable with other dogs.
“Yvette spent a couple of days with Oliver and was great within. She provided timely updates and pictures, asked questions when needed and Oliver was great with her. Would definitely book her again.”

About: I have had a dog for the past 14 years and have been responsibility for all aspects of my pets care from walks to baths to feeding. I also have had a cat for the past 6 years and know how to care for them. I recently moved away from home and am missing my furry friends. I would love to love and care for your furry babies. I am a medical student taking classes during the week but do have some potential time for afternoon and evening walks. My weekends are more free for walks and plenty of care and play time. I always keep a safe and clean environment for my pets and your pets to live and play in. I make sure they have sufficient water, food, and are surrounded by their favorite toys.

About: I’ve owned cats and dogs and cared for others as a hobby. I can’t keep one at my current living situation but it’s therapeutic to care for them and have it be apart of a job. I can send updates throughout and don’t mind doing anything that will give piece of mind while I babysit or walk I have free time and go on walks regularly. I am available most weekends for stays and help. Last minute booking is also okay with me as I am typically available I establish trust in your environment by following rules to a tea and staying in any allowed areas only. I also send videos and updates whenever possible
“Ellie was an excellent dog sitter. She arrived on time , even when we changed the time for her to come sooner. I explained to her that our dog is still new to us and in mid-training, so she should expect the walks to be difficult and she should keep them short. While we were out, she gave us constant updates, and told us he was actually doing great on walks and they got to explore, which meant he had a really good time even though we were out. When we came back he seemed so fulfilled! Also Ellie is awesome herself and knows a lot about the Westchester area. Highly recommend.”

About: Hi there! I’ve always loved animals and am lucky enough to have a cat of my own, Kitty, who has been with me for 6 years! I know how important it is to trust someone with your fur baby, but rest assured, I will love them as if they are my own! Your pet will be in good hands with me and I’m excited for the chance to meet them! Pet care is a priority in my schedule! I am home most of the week and during the day so I’m very flexible on time. I love to stay active so also willing to do frequent walks or play outside with your pet. I have one cat in my home and am very careful with ensuring her safety and health - she is well-maintained and clean (e.g., brushing, cleaning teeth, trimming nails) and spayed. Just let me know if your pet has any specific needs, allergies, or anything in particular to be aware of! I’m someone who loves to take photos of my cat so if you want frequent updates on your pet, I’m happy to do that too!
About: I’ve had experience taking care of dogs since I was 13. Aside from caring from my own dog, I have care for the dogs (and cats!) of family and friends, walking them, dog sitting at their homes, or dropping for walks, feeding and play time. I’ve had plenty of experience working with puppies and senior dogs, particularly with my own dog who experienced many health issues in his older years. I work from home, and have a relatively flexible schedule. That being said, my availability is largely after 3pm during the weekdays or mornings and afternoons on Saturdays, but I am able to drop in visits and walks during the day as well, schedule allowing! I typically care for pets in the pet parents home based on the pet parents guidelines. I like to ask pet parents as many questions as possible to make sure I try to maintain as close a routine as possible for the pet while they are in my care. This include walking and feeding schedules, how much playtime and what kind of playtime is allowed/encouraged, and any other specifics I should know about how to care for the pet (medication, where they sleep, how they interact with other dogs/pets, etc.)
“Dawn and her son Adam were professional and fabulous from our very first communication with them about house- and dog-sitting for us. Adam and Finn took to each other immediately, we felt entirely comfortable leaving Finn in Adam’s capable hands, and it was obvious to us upon our return that Adam had taken immaculate care of both Finn and our home for the week we were away. We look forward to having Adam come back to stay with Finn soon. Thank you both so much!”

“Jorge is a wonderful dog sitter. Very responsive to questions and texts. He has a very calm and quiet presence that is great for my dog who can be quite reactive. Would definitely book again.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 12. My family and friends would ask me to pet sitting sometimes. I also trained my own dogs too I’m available weekdays before 9 and after 5 pm and weekends all day from very early to late. I don’t mind staying overnight. It’s ok for me I have toys for cats, scratches, a tower and a good space to take care of your pet without any problems. I’m also open to get some dog toys.
About: In addition to having worked via Rover for about six weeks (as of March '26), with many pleased recurring and one-time cusomers, caring for a range of dogs from a massive greyhound to a two-decade-old moniature almost at hospice-level care, I've taken care of two family dogs who became family members, one of which I rescued from a neglectful owner. I was a hands-on dad to my son, and as a single parent knew well how to feed and change him and care for him when he was sick. As a senior, I've the experience and "seasoning" to know what's important, whether it's an infant or child or a family dog, and how to see to it that the one in my care is well cared for, happy, and loved. Since the condo development where my wife and I live doesn't allow dogs, I take special pleasure in spending time with them at every opportunity. I come from a long line of dog lovers on my dad's side, and proudly carry on that tradition. I'm a retiree who does part-time volunteer work, both hands-on with elementary-school-aged children and legislative and policy advocacy on behalf of folks with intellectual and developmental disabilities. My other major activities are staying in shape and learning a foreign language. These part-time gigs, and the fact that my wife works part-time, leave me enough time to do some pet care. I cannot care for pets in my home, or for that matter have a dog, because the condo development where I live does not permit dogs. I care for dogs in their owner's homes, following their owners' lead, so to speak, and according to their owners' directives. Fortunately, this means that the dogs I care for, who know their way around their own turf, do not need to adjust to new environs. As a guest myself, I am naturally inclined to treat the home where I find myself with extra care and respect, more so than I would my own home.
About: I’ve been a dog owner for years and have cared for pups at every stage of life—from energetic puppies to senior dogs who needed extra patience, gentleness, and consistency. I’ve raised one dog through his puppy years and lovingly supported two others through their golden years, so I’m comfortable with training basics, routines, mobility changes, medications, and slower-paced walks when needed. Over the years, friends have trusted me with their dogs while they travel, and now that I have more space in my home—and a large, fully fenced yard—I’m excited to do this regularly. My dog, Ochosi, and I love getting outside for long walks and hikes, and I’m happy to tailor activity levels to each dog’s age, energy, and needs—whether that means an adventurous trail day or a cozy afternoon of cuddles. As a bonus, my roommate is also a longtime dog lover and former dog owner, so your pup will get extra attention and affection beyond just me and Ochosi. Between our household, your dog will be surrounded by care, play, and consistency while you’re away. As an empowerment coach, I work mostly from home, which allows me to be present with the dogs I care for throughout the day. I do have occasional workshops, classes, and client visits that take me out of the house part-time, but I always plan my schedule carefully so pups get plenty of attention, potty breaks, walks, and companionship. Whether caring for your dog in my home or yours, I focus on keeping routines consistent, energy balanced, and tails wagging. I tailor walks, playtime, and downtime to each pup’s age and personality—from adventurous hikes to gentle strolls and cozy evenings. With a big fenced yard for safe outdoor play, plenty of affection from me, Ochosi, and my dog-loving roommate, and regular photo updates for you, your dog will feel secure, happy, and right at home.

Peter was very understanding and attentive to our dog’s personality and highly communicative with us. He followed all the specific care requests we shared perfectly. Our dog and home were so well cared for during the dog / house sitting stay. We would highly recommend Peter as a dog / house sitter.

CeeCee stayed with my two large dogs over Thanksgiving and was wonderful! She was very accommodating with a last minute booking. The dogs loved her, and she left everything tidier than when she got there. This was the first time my dogs had a sitter, and I felt better knowing they were in good hands.

Hiring Danielle to house sit our dog was definitely the right decision for my family. She is warm, responsible, attentive and reliable! She was great at keeping us up to date with what was going on with our fur baby and would respond promptly when a message was sent to her. When we got home our house was in great condition and our dog was thriving! She even left a show about birds on for him until we got home! 100/10 would definitely recommend and will be using her again!

We are happy and satisfied with the three days that Keka has been house-sitting our pawlove Hazel. Sure they had quality time playing around the house and outside during their walk. On top of that she got to provide Hazel with some Training that she needed. We appreciate so much the time she spent with our Hazel. We will surely recommend her to our other paw parent friends and surely it won't be the last for Keka & Hazel.
